The thing about yesterday's session that I am realizing right now is that he never apologized.. and he is generally good at that. He admitted that he let me down, but he never said I am sorry..

I wonder if it has anything to do with the whole limitations thing that he was talking about. So he feels no need to apologize b/c he has limitations if that makes sense at all?

Im thinking, hes not saying hes sorry because he didnt have bad intentions? He wasnt AWARE you needed more? And maybe he saves his apologies for when he truly makes a bad choice? Idk. So not limitations as much as intentions.

This was not the best moment to learn, via email, that back at my apartment in NY a letter is waiting for me telling me the state medical board dismissed my complaint against Smaug.

Because she did nothing wrong medically. Apparently they don't care about the ethics of suddenly terminating a patient because you've decided they're suicidal on the basis of no good evidence.

That is just so WRONG!! I'm sorry. Sounds like they were just lazy and did not want to look into your complaint. Dismissing is the lazy way out. It's also easier than holding someone accountable that is a friend of someone with clout.

Nothing happened

A man came up and wanted $100 cash back. I explained the situation to him. More people came up to stand in line. 2 more men. They asked me what the deal is. I told them. They started *****ed amongst themselves. We all stood there for about 10 minutes not even joking.

One of them asked if he should go up to the desk and tell them I need help. I said ok. So he did that.

About 5 min later the front end manager comes up. He asks me what I need. I told him again that I need money and this man wants cash back. He said ok like he was going to go do that. He never came back.

Finally after telling like 2 other coworkers I need money a csm came up and handed me 5 20s. I gave it to the man who was waiting. He got so mad and yelled across the top of the cig shelf at the front end manager walking by. Then he marched over to him and yelled.

Like the front end manager didn't even go get any ****ing money. At all. And I STILL didn't have any money.

I started tearing up. The other 2 men from before went somewhere else. Another guy walked up and said smile it's not that bad. I started crying and he was like saying it's ok and it doesn't matter etc. I said I'm sorry. Rang up about 7 more. People. I guess 1 lady went and said something because the csm came over and said yes? I cried to her and she told me to go on lunch.

I considered not going back but I did. The csm apologized to me. Later on I saw her in the parking lot.. She apologized again and said that the front end manager felt bad. She said he is new and doesn't know how to work the money machine in the cash office. I told her well I wish he would have come and told me. She said she understood blah blah blah

And then after all that a Hispanic man told me to suck his d!! K.
JD, I'm on Tapatalk right now so I can't give you hugs but I wanted to let you know that I felt your pain during that story. Glad you're not there right now and its behind you. Between a couple of your colleagues and some of the customers seems like you're working with a bunch of Knuckleheads! LOL

I if they are 4 can't you just ask them their names? LOL. Or do you think that they'd be playing games with their identities at this early age?

I'm very sorry that there was no outcome in your favor. Maybe this is just me not knowing the whole story, but I'm not sure how dumping a suicidal client is not a medical issue.

Wishing you peace in days ahead.

Thanks, I did not know about this. I love, love, love psychological thrillers. It sounds exciting and Naomi Watts is lovely.

Quote:
The project—Rubin’s first to be made—attracted an equally impressive star: Naomi Watts, who plays Jean Holloway, a therapist who, feeling trapped by her suburban life in Connecticut, begins crossing the very boundaries she preaches to her patients, by tracking down the objects of their obsessions and developing her own relationships with them.

Television audiences have watched time and time again as flawed middle-aged male characters forfeit their comfortable family lives in favor of the dangers and demons tempting them from the shadows. But women are not often afforded the same opportunity for ugly onscreen soul-searching, which is why Gypsy is all the more special. Here, our mid-life crisis-hurdling protagonist is not only a woman, but one with a triplicate of complications—a husband, a daughter, and the capper, a career guiding patients through their own squalls of the psyche.

hey couch happy july! it's weird how my feelings seem to be all over the place over wrapping things up with t. this morning i was feeling sad, and h could tell so he said let's go out to breakfast, so we did that and then went grocery shopping, and when we got home I went to the pool and swam laps for an hour, and now I feel happy/calm/settled about it again. I guess maybe I should start a separate thread about this huh....

I'm having a rough day. Everyone needs something, a ride, a loan, an ear, etc. I'm trying to chill on my day off! Now my neighbor comes over for the 3rd time, not a ride this time, but to discuss some home repairs I never even asked him to do! And I'm helping the little build legos that keep breaking every time we add something on. Sorry to unload on the couch, but damn I'm aggravated!

ATAT- sorry about the complaint -I believe if nothing else you did put her through some unpleasantness in having to answer to them even if they found nothing wrong. Unless those people shoot you, sleep with you or steal money from you - their governing body protects them

I do not particularly appreciate therapists. They are no different than any other professional who I expect to do their job (or just sit there and shut up since therapists don't do anything)

((atat)) I'm so sorry

The soloist for my recital tonight was wearing a shirt that M has in the dress rehearsal. It's a fairly distinctive shirt. Weirdddddddd. Soloist pulls it off better.

Guys I just have to get through this recital (I'm nervous) and then... it's over, for a while. Except for a dumb gig on the 4th. I can't believe I pulled all of this off and didn't let anyone down (my main fear). My punishment is added responsibilities, now I have a say in budgetting and grants/ sponsorships too. I guess it's time to learn about that stuff.
