No, brookies are definitely different than blondies. Blondies are vanilla brownies. A brookie is a traditional brownie, but then you swirl in a chocolate chip cookie dough mix.The Couch 148: Boby
Thanks for this!

Click on it. If you're trying to turn it off, you can do it under settings once you're in.

I keep accidentally hitting it and it brings up a menu. But i never chat.

I get that backwards moving feeling a lot on the bus, when we're next to another bus and the other bus moves and we stay still. Its freaky. Or on the train.

Is there a way to turn it off permanently (and not just by clicking on the gear thingie on the chat window and turning it off for that specific session)? Profile settings has no option to do it?

Every time I log in, the damn thing pops up again.

Also, general wail -- why can't I change the title under my name (I've searched high and low for that option)?

I'm looking forward to tomorrow, first at noon I'll be going for a shamanic clearing over at my drumming group, which I really need right now.... get rid of all this "stuff" from t that isn't mine.... and then at 2pm is the poetry writer's group meetup, we'll see how that goes. There's only 4 people signed up on the meetup site, I wonder if more come like at my drumming group, or if it'll just be that small of a group. I've never been to a writer's group before, so this will be a new experience.

I think you need a couple hundred more posts? 1500 maybe? I know I could do it somewhere in the 1000s.

Eta: second calling yourself General Whale!

Dunno about permanently turning off the stupid chat bar. Stay logged on permanently?

Mine had only 3 signed up on Meetup, but there were 10 there. They said they usually get 5-20.

Eww, why such a long vacation?!?! I like to pretend I am not attached at all to my T, but I wouldn't do so well with such a long vacation. I suppose I should be glad she can't afford to take longer than a week vacation? I am not, but also..I am...

No, mother. RoboT abandoned me like everyone else and I haven't seen him in a month.

I hope you don't. What happened with RoboT? I must have missed it.

It turned out that I had actually been referred to that pdoc about 20 years ago and couldn't stand her. My therapist said that people who saw her loved that she would smoke with them. I said that sounded manipulative. My therapist disagreed.

Does anyone else think it's manipulative? Like, trying to make people think they're just hanging out, meanwhile the pdoc is being controlling and plotsy?
I don't necessarily think smoking with a client is manipulative, but this was also 20 years ago, when smoking was more condoned? Or at least not as widely known as "OMG YOU ARE SMOKING. YOU WILL GET CANCER!" that is seen as today. I mean you may have not liked this person, and see no reason to go back, which is totally fine...but just because they smoked with clients 20 years ago? I don't know.

He really blew me away with all of that. He said I know you keep saying you want to "end things the right way" but he said I don't think there is a right way. I said well I don't want to leave on bad terms. He said why? She doesn't care. You're just a client, a paycheck, she'll move along to another one. I said I don't know. That's just who I am - I care.
.
Aw, that is great that H is being so supportive! I think I missed when things turned *wrong* with T? I know the past few sessions have been difficult, but when did you notice things awry?

LOL. Tonight was the first real rain in AGES here. So great. I also love a good thunderstorm, they just don't happen often.
