My gf wanted me to do that once. I was like, you dont know how heavy i am! It was ridiculous, i had just moved to nyc and taken a room in her rented house, how much more trusting can you get?

So maybe look at different ways you might already have built trust with your t? Like you and i have a certain comedic trust, thats worth something, no? My t knows i adooooooore you.
Thanks for this!

Thanks for the good thoughts couchies. I'm ok after a lot of crying and rage in the bathroom at work, a jumbo peach margarita, and a few sips of D's pumpkin spice chai latte. Went to Walmart to look at kitchen organizing stuff and walked around a lot. Not ready to sleep but so exhausted. Probably going to have another insomniac night but what else is new? At least I'm prone if not unconscious!

Which makes me feel dreadful and awful and guilty all over again. And is now at least semi-public record.
a. Future ex's health ain't your problem.

b. (And, possibly more importantly) Please do consider vastly discounting the severity of the health issues.

If you think people aren't capable of doing that, I am more than happy to provide you with excruciating detail on the various ways in which multiple people have pulled that crap on me. It's rather astonishing -- to the point that current T and I have discussed in some detail as to whether said people's health-related nonsense is malingering or a factitious disorder.

Consider talking about future ex's (multiple and prolonged, I'm sure) health issues with Info. I'll bet it'll be enlightening. For what it's worth, I absolutely refused to believe well-wishers when they told me I was being fooled big time -- took me, I dunno, maybe most of my life to figure it out myself?

I'm having Halo Top birthday cake "ice cream" (I'd never have picked the birthday cake flavor but I somehow mistook it for ice-cream cake). Not recommended.

Also, why do I fill up far quicker on Halo Top than on regular ice cream?
Thanks for this!

Fewer carbs, more protein? Yeah, it's actually hard to eat the whole pint (let's not pretend that's not what they want you to do).

I had the birthday cake...once. I like the lemon cake and oatmeal cookie. Mint is good too.
Thanks for this!

I liked it a lot more than I liked Peep Show, but then I was really put off by the POV camera in Peep Show. I didn't like the gimmick at all.
I am not normally a huge fan of Robert Webb but I really like his character in this. I always like David Mitchell (incidentally he reminds me of a young version of my T).
I've found it funny so far, two episodes in. It remains to be seen if they can keep it up.

I meant to take this post down but I did watch the 2nd episode and I do think it will shape up nicely, maybe not brilliantly but pleasureable.

I tried some flavor of it - vanilla probably. It was okay but I decided that I would rather have less real ice cream than more of this odd stuff.

I am a huge fan of ice cream mochi - I get them at costco now that trader joe's stopped carrying them.

OMG. I should have expected this. My bio mom called, to do the happy birthday thing. She always makes a big deal of it since my dad and stepmom are JWs.

She called from a number that isn't hers. I can tell it was her because my phone tells me the city and state of the number.

She left a voicemail. I don't want to listen to it. H doesn't want me to either because he knows it's going to set me off.

Kind of wish I had my T appointment today now. Oh well. We're about 2 hours from our destination. I think I'll just turn off my phone.

Can you just delete it or have your husband do it for you?

I could, and I may. He said he'll listen to it and let me know if it's safe to keep. I also feel like it may be a good tool to take to therapy next week so I may keep it anyway.

So I'm seeing that new T Tuesday. Current/possibly soon to be former T had said she could talk to him to fill him in. And I assume MC would say the same, particularly because they all know each other. I understand why in some ways this could be helpful, just so he can get background info and stuff. But my instincts are saying to not allow them to talk to him. Partly because I'll be talking about them to him. But also so he can get a more unbiased opinion of me (and the situation). Does that make sense? I suspect he'll ask at the appointment...
