All just to be told that there’s nothing wrong. Thx.

I went to a stomach/liver-guy, a urologist and the gyn. There aren’t many more organs left in my stomach.

Any suggestions on what to do next? The doctor didn’t have any.

Ahhhh
Hugs. No idea. Sorry that you're hurting.

One more work day then I have 5 days off yay!

Still praying for son's friend and dealing with my own feelings (the situation is triggering to me and I am mindful of that and doing my best to acknowledge my own feelings so as to not let them run away with me.) I am hopeful that things will somehow work out ok with him. Praying and listening are two things I can do and not make things worse.

My writing workshop leader starts every critique of student work with, “X, This is a story of deceit/love/treachery/misunderstanding” etc.

I’m thinking of starting this week’s assignment, a description of a thunderstorm, with “This is a story of cheimonic description.” Or just writing it in Greek.
Thanks for this!

There's a St. Louis Gooey Butter Cake recipe going around Facebook. Being from St. Louis, I of course LOVE Gooey Butter Cake, and just made one. It's baking now. It smells verrrrrrrrrry promising!

I made it up from the Greek word for storm.

I would dread the yappy little dog.

Eta: also isn’t the shoe one of the ones they got rid of?

Monopoly!

Question: Free Parking. Do you play by the official rules (it's just another space!) or the unofficial "house rules" with some variation of money from taxes and fines going in the middle of the board until someone lands on the Free Parking space? I grew up playing the house rules version.

I always hated the iron. Who thought that was a good idea for a game piece?

Official rules. The bank gets taxes and fines.

Mr. Monopoly needs the iron to keep the crease in his trousers. Though why he needed a wheelbarrow is beyond me. Transporting the bodies of his victims?

I read that as demonic prescription.

(Am just back from my session -- current T was liberally scratching her thighs [inside and outside], while wearing tights. I assumed they were awfully scratchy. I wanted to offer my sympathies but her utter lack of self-consciousness was a rather incredible sight to behold and so, I took it all in.)

My aunt called this afternoon and left a vm to invite me for thanksgiving dinner at her son's house. I dont have to reply, right? "I'm on a boat!"

I COULD be on a boat, if i wanted...

Re monopoly - anybody remember the wooden pieces? I was always the purple hersheys kiss.

Awk - yeah i would have asked if she needed a hand with that!

Eta - well, there goes the 3rd death then, david cassidy, after della reese and omg charles manson.

No, no.

You see, Mr. Monopoly gets his properties cheap by “removing” the previous owners.

He keeps a shiv in a hollow shoe heel and uses it on his victim.

He dumps the body in the trunk of his roadster and drives it out to a country cemetery.

There he uses the wheelbarrow to take the body to the newly-dug grave.

In so doing he disturbs a cat, who runs away and is barked at by a Scottie dog.

Things get hot and the police are on his tail. He uses the thimble as he sews some spare cash into the lining of his hat.

Then he flees the country by stowing away on a ship.

Not many people know that Monopoly and its pieces are its inventor’s confession to murder.

But it’s there if you know where to look.
