That could certainly be a part of it and would make sense. Food for thought. Thanks.

Maybe he does feel threatened somehow by all the changes I've made esp the physical ones.

I don’t see the logical connection there. And I would say don’t spend time wondering about his psychology. That has a very good chance of leading to misunderstandings and misjudgements and making things worse.

Work on you instead, figure out what you want, then go through with it.

I'm not sure that last sentence ties in with the rest. But it seems like he has a very clear idea of what your priorities should be in terms of spending money, and they don't match with yours. He may think you're punishing yourself without a radio, while you feel more like you're punishing yourself by not having therapy.

When somebody you work for on a freelance basis criticises an article you wrote without realising you're the author (online) and you argue back in a public forum
Expecting work from that source to dry up!

Does anybody else feel like spending time on PC just makes you think too much? I may need a break from here again. Only trouble is I miss you guys when I stay away.

PC is my circle of friends. If I don't come here then I don't associate with anyone outside of work, except for those I gave birth to. However, I never venture off the couch. Things are scary out there!

Art, if you feel overwhelmed with all the information and different opinions you are getting, then you could just ask if we could hold any further thoughts we have and I’m sure everyone will respect that. You do have a lot to process and we’re given lots of advice and support here and things to think about.

Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean specifically now, I appreciate all the opinions and POV's lately I just meant overall, I spend a lot of time on here reading and thinking not necessarily posting... I need to spend more time living my life than reading here I guess.... I read a lot of threads I don't respond to....

No need to apologize, was just offering another alternative to taking a break if you like it here. I also stay out of threads as much as possible and it’s easier now not to internalize other people’s experience, but when I was in therapy it was very hard not to internalize.
Thanks for this!

Discussing a nightmare I had about being in an underground resistance movement and afraid:

Piaf: Are you frightened of anything in real life?
(ATAT pauses to think)
Piaf: Like therapists?
ATAT (indignantly): I’m not afraid of therapists. I just scorn you.

Should have said “your ilk,” huh?

Apparently this is a thing that I wasn't really aware of.

However, I don't pay much attention to Xmas in December, so I guess that is not surprising.

Omg, there can't be points here!

Mostly because I can't do math. Or Xmas.
