He looks different to me in person than most pictures I've seen of him. And ex-MC was definitely not conventionally attractive, yet, like you, that didn't stop me from having feelings for him...

Personality is way more attractive than looks, at least to me, so it's probably why... and also why with your current T, I would not be really into him... at least from what you've shared.

It's ok though, reminds me of when my friends and I used to talk about celeb crushes and we often didn't agree and would be like, that's ok, we don't like sharing anyway LOL

I picked R based on his profile picture, but it was because he looked nice not 'hot'. Then when I met him I thought that his profile picture didn't do him justice and found him attractive.

There's nothing to forgive Artie and there's no need to apologize for.

Thanks Velcro. Hugs. I did end up having fun -a lot of fun - once the dancing started and I got all the weird crap outta my system. My head was in a rebellious angry kinda place while waiting for the music to start.

Yeah, my T's photo just made him look warm and kind. But in person he seemed/seems more attractive. He also has a very nice voice, so that might help, too.

What a shock...student with the “flexible attendance” accommodation (who agreed to email me when she needed to use the accommodation, and has done so only once) is now wondering why she has no points in her attendance grade.

Unfortunately for her I take attendance in large lecture courses with an electronic polling system the university has—so there is a 5-minute quiz on the day’s material at the end of each class. She has not been there according to the system.
Thanks for this!

Aaah but clearly she would have known that if she went to lectures...

For immunology they made us write our names down on paper. Psychology they gave us stamps we needed 5/6 for each semester.

Can she lose the accommodation for taking advantage of it? Like if you went to whomever is in charge of granting those accommodations and tell them what is going on? Especially if the student didn’t keep her end of the agreement by not telling you when she needs to use the accommodation?

The accommodations are granted by the university on a medical professional’s recommendation, so I doubt it. I don’t know that she is taking advantage of it—it is possible that she is completely clueless and not paying attention.

I told her if she can show me notes to prove she’s been in class she’ll get credit.

I’ve been haunting Twitter lately (I don’t tweet, I just use it to follow the few commentators from both sides whose opinions I have any respect for/don’t raise my blood pressure and get breaking news).

And so I can tell you, Kanye West will now be called YE.
Thanks for this!

If we were on a real life couch, Art, I'd giggle and hug you and ask, "How you feelin' this morning?"

Be easy on yourself. Sounds like you had fun. You can be whatever blinkin' age you want to be, whenever you want to be it.

Hope you're not too hungover. I promise to whisper for while and not bang all the pots and pans.

I do applaud your blood vessels in remaining calm under the pressure of reading West's Twitter feed.

The last time I read him.....gosh, I'm not sure I can remember without said blood vessels bursting again.

(The weird thing is I actually used to have a soft spot for him -- largely coz his Mom I think was an English prof? And so, I assumed his persona was largely performance [which I guess is generally true for most folks in the public sphere] and it struck me as somewhat intelligent until well.......the batshit craziness.)

I didn’t read it—someone I do follow retweeted it.

My favorite followed account is “Daily Death Reminder.”

Thanks socks. My head felt full of cotton when I woke up at 5-ish but I went back to sleep til like 7 and then a nice hot shower and breakfast and I'm good.

Finally remembered a dream again too. And of course, t was in it.... I was in a session but not in an office I recognized and I was telling her about a dream, but she was on the phone with a man consulting and random people kept waking through her office and out the front door. Weird.

So you want her undivided attention but aren’t getting it?

Attraction is perfectly normal! I honestly feel you're my PC twin. (more saner and rational though).

I don't think that's it. I feel like she's very present and giving me her undivided attention during sessions. I think I just drank too much last night. heh

I thought something similar, that to Art the dream within the dream, and what's happening in her waking life, are consuming all of her attention, but t has other clients and people moving in and out of her attention.
