Aw Una. I guess the couch has to take a road trip to come see you through your appointment.

Everybody hop on the bus. We are going to Unas. Buckle up. I’m driving.

Good luck Una.

Couch professors: do you use that Turnitin software for submitted papers? it checks for plagiarism. It is making me bonkers. I have submitted my current paper 3 times trying to get the percentage down. The problem is, it is counting as plagiarism things that are required to be part of my answers like "The Cascadian Subduction Zone" and the "San Andreas Fault Zone" and the names of the tectonic plates, and other things that if I changed the wording, would make my answers wrong. Yet it counts them as plagiarism. I sent an email to my prof about it because it is making me so nervous.

Any professor who uses TurnItIn should know about its issues. It's almost impossible for a student to get a 0% plagiarism score on any kind of research/fact-based assignment on TurnItIn.

It's more like a flag--hey, you might want to look at this--kind of thing.

Is that a dr pimple popper / weed joke?

When my dentist wayne gretzky was stitching me up friday, i was thinking, hey, i usually fast forward thru this part on dr pp! Then he kept letting the fine thread dangle on my chin, and it was tickling me!!! Dr sandra doesnt let that happen.

It just seems from reading on here that it’s not actually possible to put what’s called parental and erotic transference into neat separate cubbyholes. They’re more like a Venn diagram with the amount of overlap in the center differing between clients.

Well how very Freudian of you!

My mom invited me over tonight for one of my brother's birthdays. I managed to actually straighten my hair instead of putting it in a ponytail and even did my makeup. I wore a long sleeve top to cover my wrist so no one would ask what I did. I don't want the judgement I know would come from them, especially not at a birthday party. Good thing it cooled off tonight and I still wore shorts so no one said anything.
I feel nervous for going to my son's pdoc appointment tomorrow morning and my other son's family therapy appointment on Wednesday. I know neither is for me, but my son's pdoc used to be my pdoc when I went to the community mental health center. I know she won't say anything so why am I nervous.

T and I switched our Monday time to the morning instead of the evening, and he text me yesterday to tell me he has to make tomorrow's session 45 minutes instead of 50. Not a big deal, but still another change on top of changing it to a different time.

@ArtieSwimsOn - Thanks for the memory...I hated TurnItIn as a university student. Unnecessary fuss, IMO.

I have run out of instant coffee and had to pull out my plunger and grounds and i had forgotten how much i had missed the ritual of making coffee like this. Which made me think how i miss the ritual of making a curry i start fromscratch grinding spices and making naan. I used to find it very peaceful and relaxing maybe i should make more curries and stick them in the freezer.

At my first school I always used to get high scores because they all asked us to use a cover page and all the website links in my bibliography would come up too.

Just because you're a woman doesn't mean that all the cleaning is down to you. If he was home there's no reason he couldn't have done it too.
