@@ i thought everybody knew that!

I got a lot of micro stuff done today. Organized my Crystal Lights and my new condiments, ketchup regular mustard and mayo. I havent had mayo in sooo long. Cleaned my bathroom mirror.

Been eating greens greens greens! Had a salad, broccoli, cauliflower, a cuke, some cherry tomatoes, and canned chop suey veg. Oh and some sauerkraut in the rice. Sauerkraut in chinese food is awesome. One small pluot, two small bananas, hummus, fake crab, and a Hormel spag with meat sauce. Seems like a lot of food, but its mostly veg, isnt it? 3 meals and 2 snacks?

Watching David Tennant in Broadchurch.

I don't understand why insurance would care how far you're willing to drive to see a provider, unless they think you'll not do enough preventative care if they're too far away. But insurance rarely makes sense to me anyway.

Depending on how you look at, I'm lucky that I've hit my yearly out of pocket max so I don't think I have to pay anymore copays this year. I guess my $10,000 hospital bill and subsequent $4,500 ER visit really put a dent in it.

I believe the state administers health care by county. Different plans are available by county. Also, this happened as of 5 years ago.

I have insurance through my employer, not the state, so I guess that's why it didn't make any sense to me.

My doctor didn't even say goodbye. She didn't wish me well. She didn't even check with my pdoc and L if I was okay. I know she was just a doctor, but I had a monthly appointment with her for support. I guess in the end she really didn't care. I was just another patient.

Wow. What did you talk about at your last appointment? At the time did you both know it would be your last?

I was recently in a similar situation with my very long time GP (over 30 years?!). I somehow missed the snail mail from him announcing his retirement. My last appt with him was changed at the last minute to a phone call where he told me this was goodbye.

But we had a wonderful relationship while it lasted. I felt known and seen and respected. That doesnt end.

No, we didn't know our last appointment would be our last. But we communicate through email, and she still could have said a goodbye to me through there.

Second season really continues the first. You don’t need it tounderstand season 3, which was weak imo.

I have been dealing with the State Housing dept wrong for the past 5 years. I have been ringing and emailing my property manager for different things and i eventually give up because she never returns phone calls but i discovered theres a web form on the website and i have submitted 2 things through there thatbwere acted on in a timely fashion.

Hi Couchies

Well, I think we have already established that my T is random. She went to Vegas last week on holiday and met up with some family members--so she didn't cancel last minute for an emergency or anything. She said she had a good time like taking a helicopter trip to the Grand Canyon and stuff.

But this is weird--I was checking my claims on the mental health part of my insurance website, which I don't usually look at. But I thought it was weird I haven't hit my out-of-pocket maximum yet for the year. I'm close though, within $300. And my T has not submitted any claims at all for me and I have been seeing her since November. She only has 3 months to submit the claim. She never gives me a bill or a receipt and I always Zelle her the money so IDK if she is just not bothering to get the money from the insurance and is just taking my copay. But that kind of sucks because that means all these copays have not been applied to my out of pocket maximum.

So I texted her and let her know that she hasn't submitted any claims for me and she is in Network, so it shouldn't be hard. I gave her the phone number so she could call if she needs help. I would like her to submit claims so all my copays could be applied to my out of pocket maximum on my insurance. Lets say I have seen her 20 times so far this year...probably more. 20 multiplied by $30 is $600 which means I would have met my out of pocket maximum already.

My T is so random. Like why would you settle for just getting $30 copay when she would get another $60 I think from the insurance company. At least that is what it was last year when I had a different T. Maybe they give more now.

My niece and nephew have been staying with my parents and I for more than a week. Yesterday afternoon I was craving being alone but that wasn't going to happen. Saturday my nephew watched Sponge Bob for like 6 hours. KMN. And then Sunday they watched Monk for like 6 hours. I don't mind an episode or two of Monk but more than that is more than I can tolerate. We still have a week with them. At least I am working. I will be volunteering with my niece Wed-Fri after work and then all day Sat and half a day Sunday. I'm like, I need to escape! They aren't annoying or anything. I'm just like not used to having company for so long.

HUGS, Kit.

I'm sorry about the confusion with your T, and guests for more than a week sounds like a nightmare to me, even if they are family.

I hope you are able to find some time to yourself soon.

It also seems unfair to me that you are unable to attend aftercare whilst your guests are around....I understand the requirement for privacy, but you need to do what you can to take care of yourself too.

Thank you, Lost.

I couldn't attend aftercare this week anyway because I will be volunteering. I am going to tire myself out this week. Work from 6 AM to 330 PM and then volunteering W-F from 5-8. Then Saturday it is 10-4 volunteering and then Sunday it is 8 to 11 volunteering! EEK!

I am thinking about taking a day off of work next week to relax and recuperate. Plus by then my niece and nephew should have gone home!

HUGS my friend, Kit

I believe she has to report it as income, she'd be breaking the law if she didnt (over here, in the UK certaintly, not 100% sure of the laws there)

Yeah, she should report it as income over here too because it would also be breaking the law here in the US. But I send her money via Zelle. There's not a lot of tracking done with that, AFAIK. And I never get a bill or receipt so who is to say?

I'd like to think she reports my copay as income, but she is pretty random.

IDK. She's strange. I like her but she is strange.

i'm unfamiliar with Zelle, i'm guessing there would be a electronic record of it

I ordered these two books when I took my niece to Barnes and Noble on Saturday: What a Life Can Be: One Therapist's Take on Schizo-Affective Disorder.
and Finding the Point of Equilibrium: Schizo-Affective Disorder and Wellbeing, Living the Paradox!
I hope they are helpful!
