I hope it goes as well as it can, Artie, and that you can maintain some sense of control throughout the process.

thanks LT, comrade, scarlet! It was definitely unpleasant for a moment or so, but not as bad as I had feared.

Artie I'm sorry about Stormy.

Whatever you decide I do hope you know that cats do know they have been loved.

You provided him with a safe home which says a lot.

I hope L is able to provide you with comfort for your grief about your relative as well.

Is it weird that I'm considering deleting the last couple of messages I received from R?

I usually keep everything, but that last session cancellation and the (slightly tone deaf) 'I hope the festive period is kind to you' are grating on me.

Not weird. Delete without guilt if you don't want the reminder in your inbox.

Thanks, Cake.

I have no clue as yet how to explain the challenge this has been...but I'm hopeful that a path will emerge.

Not weird, though I tend to hang onto everything, too. Dr. T has questioned before why I keep things and reread them if they upset me. I don't know?

I'm sorry she was so tone deaf there.

I just woke up. The analog clock in the bathroom was flat-lined, and i was like, wtf i dont know if its 9:15 am or 2:45 pm. Omg its 2:45. No construction or needing to pee waking me up. I was dreaming! I was reading bedtime stories to Eric Braeden. I was flying to Italy without a passport. I was moving out of my ex MIL's house. I was filling out effing timesheets.

thanks scarlet. we're really waffling right now because Stormy has been having a good day today. he's eating a little which he had not been doing. so now we're questioning whether it's the right thing to do or not. we're thinking we'll still go to the appointment and maybe just have her check him out again and see if she sees enough improvement to let him ride a little longer and see how he does. I'm just afraid he's in pain all the time because of how much he sleeps and we just don't know it, even if he is eating a little again, and h and I are grasping at straws wanting to keep him alive for us. I swore I'd never do that to another animal after I did it to my old cat, King years ago. But this is the longest H has ever had a pet so I think it's even harder on him.

Hugs, Artie. It makes sense to still go to the appointment to see what the vet says. I'm sure you'll make the right choice.

I found out that my old T R was found guilty for his usual antics in september and given a 18 months community order with 140 hours community service, £500 costs and a £95 surcharge.

I think it's incredible that I could be such a and stick with this therapist for 3.5 years.

Oh wow--was this related to something he did as a T? Hugs, Lemon.

He's into climate change protests with just stop oil and insulate Britain. Things like blocking traffic, causing huge delays for others including ambulances. Throwing paint at famous paintings. Ruining the Chelsea flower show.

How exactly do you stop oil when 46% of our food alone is currently imported? He doesn't exactly live an off grid lifestyle in London. Heats his home with gas. Gets his weekly food delivered to his home by a van using oil.

Their antics will just lead to stronger protest laws for the rest of us.

You've nailed napping!

I don't think I've ever slept in that late only when I was a teenager and it was around 1pm.

We brought Stormy home from the vet today, she agreed with us that it doesn't seem to be quite his time yet. We're going to make sure he has the best Christmas ever.

eta: he actually ate quite a bit today, both the chicken baby food I made for him and the regular soft cat food, went outside and laid on his favorite chair, etc.
