It's probably a coincidence, but it's one of those spooky coincidences that I prefer to see as signs that offer comfort.

Music can change your mood to match the music's mood. I used to have a file of songs that improved my mood. It had things like Bobby McFerrin's Don't Worry, Be Happy; Petula Clark's Downtown; Simon and Garfunkel's Feeling Groove; Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's Somewhere Over the Rainbow; Liza Minnelli's Cabaret. Stuff like that. Not very original. Just songs that are upbeat or make me smile and feel more cheerful. Sometimes it works; sometimes it doesn't.

your dog was named costello?

is it possible someone could not get enough touch? u know. like hugs or something. i swear i dont. and i end up (not trying to sound wrong) trying to cuddle with my dad but he hates it. my moms not around to hug me. no on else is and im kinda touchy feely person.

I like both dogs and cats, but I'm probably slightly more of a dog person. Costello was an amazing dog. I was almost convinced he was the reincarnation of a human being, because he was so human-like. He was about 13 when he died. I'd hoped he'd live to like 18. I regret that the last few years of his life were spent in a stressful home, because I'd adopted my younger son.

I remember my older son came out to the house to see him the day before he died. He was actually court-ordered to stay away from my house at the time, because he had had a terrible fight with my younger son there and was arrested. No contact were the terms of his bail. I had him come over to say goodbye anyway, because he'd grown up with Costello. The thing was, he was so very paranoid at the time, he spent the entire visit talking about some paranoid delusion. I don't think he understood that this was his last chance with the dog.

thats so sad to hear. does he understand that it was now? its very hard to go on with the different things in life with Sz. but i hope at some point he understood...

Yes, I've wondered if massage or acupuncture/acupressure would help my son. This may sound awful or shocking, but just today I was even wondering if a prostitute would be helpful.

We haven't talked about it. He said he wanted to take one last picture of Costello, but I don't think he did. Really the dog wasn't in good condition. It wouldn't have been a great picture to remember him by anyway.

Stress. I have something called "anisocoria." which means that my pupils are different sizes. I don't know how long I've had this but it can be nothing or a Migraine headache (most likely) or it can be life threatening. Read mind. Sorry its been so long. I have such an intense headache and nausea in the world. Other things too, like a stiff neck. It gets worse and worse as the day goes on. The doc ordered an MRI to rule out more dangerous conditions. The Human Condition is dangerous. Observing the Human race humans are dumb. I'm sorry for your loss about the cat. I'm going through a lot right now as well. I think awhile ago I described grandpa not doing well. He still is doing bad. This year started off horribly for me and my family. Wow! How shocking. such breaking news.

Day 6 with this flu. I'm starting to feel a tiny bit better. I'm so sick of being sick in bed. Ugh!

Have some sort of food poisoning.....been up every hour since midnight puking and more...lovely. Trying to figure out what made me sick...definitely don't want to eat any more of it....

We are having a major snow storm today!! It's being dramatically referred to as a "winter squall." So much snow! I am finally feeling somewhat better. I am just doing laundry all day and letting dogs in and out. Too cold for them too want to play in the snow much though. Wind chill is well below zero. Even the furrier guys are preferring to come right back in and play inside.

Where I live we are also expecting a snow storm and wind chills well below 0 degrees. You don't happen to live in Columbus Ohio?
