Thay should make a heating pad that uses batteries so you can use it anywhere.

Battery operated heating pad is a great idea! If you invent it i will place the first order!

I am taking a break on the couch with heat and the little dog for a few minutes. I wont get to stay here but i can take a little break.
Thanks for this!

I know someone who has a battery operated heated jacket for hunting. Now THAT would be good.

What are some good things that could happen when you go to GP tomorrow. Maybe try to think about that?

Thanks Punky! It's not just what to say to the GP, but also what to say to my parents about why I want to go on my own without hurting their feelings or making them suspicious :/

I don't really know. It's basically just a tick box exercise from the GP's POV. He's normally nice, and good at physical stuff (and doesn't just assume it's all MI-related like some do), but he just tells me to talk to the CMHT about anything psychological/mental as he's not comfortable treating me for that. I'm just worried that they've got to him and that he now thinks badly of me and will think anything I tell him is lies for attention, or whatever nonsense they've told him to discredit me. Also I'm worried that anything I tell him might get back to the CMHT, which I don't want because I can't trust them. But at the same time I guess I'm desperate for someone IRL to talk to who can reassure me or somehow make me feel better.

IDK I'll be glad when it's over with but it's late afternoon so I've got all night and most of tomorrow to fret about it :/

Do you think it's worth asking the GP to check my ears? I keep having problems following speech. I hear some bits fine, but then other bits I just hear noise and can't figure out what the words were. Sometimes I just miss little bits and I can just about follow the conversation, but then other times I'll realise that I've missed a huge chunk and have no idea what's been going on. Do you think it could be a hearing problem instead of a cognitive problem (since the hospital says I have no MI to cause cognitive problems)?

My niece is 3 too, though practically 4 now. She's lovely, but totally exhausting!

You know they make those warmers you heat in the microwave to put around your neck. I once saw on Martha Stewart that you could make your own quite cheaply with a long clean cotton sock and some white rice just tie off the end and nuke until warm. I made a small version to transport some cells across campus in winter and it worked great.

I keep meaning to make another one. We used to use ours all the time. Thanks for the reminder!

Yuck. Colds seem to go on forever.
Think of some things you can do today to stay busy?

On my way out to put art in a gallery today. Finally getting out of the house after days sitting on the couch.
Now if I could just get out of this depression to make some more pieces to put in the gallery then I will be ok. Tourist season is coming up quick.
