I can’t. She’s set to goto the vet tomorrow. Plus an hour and a half at 2am on the highway. Not good. I can’t see at night driving anyway. So I can’t drive at night.

Life without meaning can be purgatory if you think about it

Right now it's like I'm in one of those white bright light empty space rooms. But it will get better eventually.

I told my dad that and he said it gets better with age. People have said that I'm on the right path.

Seriously, it can be.

Not to put you on the spot or anything, because that's not my intention, but do you think you are on the right path? It only matters to a minor extent whether people say you're on the right path, in my opinion.

That's a hard question to answer but I think I am because I'm much better than I was before. Before, I never listened to lyrics in music or paid attention to them, I slept all day and night, I lived in the middle of no where and even still, - I was isolating myself because I had avoidant personality disorder or something, I was paranoid, not involved with anything.. But at least now I'm trying. And that's the first step - Is wanting to find a passion and such things.

My mind is open to experience.. A little bit.. I'm still a scared introvert non-social conformist.

I really really need someone’s advice on something. Someone who knows about voices.

I've never heard voices, but I'd be happy to help.

Edit: assuming that is what you're referring to...

Best thing to help me with voices was the med Trilafon (perphenazine). It's truly an amazing medication. I know a lot of other people here and in the bipolar forum have had good experiences with it too.

Yeah Newtus....I can’t find you but make sure you take the new med dose and singing aloud can help....not rap, like actual let me modulate my voice kind of singing...it’s getting the tone right that is complex enough to help.

Ughhh I need to go to the library to return my books but I keep putting it off. I just don't feel like walking anywhere and that's a long walk. Maybe I'll go tomorrow early in the morning before all the heat. Need to go to the grocery store too and also make a trip to the dollar store.

Idk if you’d qualify but some libraries have a delivery and pickup option, usually for people who are homebound. It has been hot.

Feeling okay so far today. Had some weird, PTSDish dreams. Oh well. It happens.

Headphones help a lot of people with bad voices, newtus. In the state hospital, where there are a lot of treatment-resistant folks, headphones are like, key for people in soothing them wrt their voices. Might be worth looking into.

Hi guys, today feels like it's gonna be a better day so far. I have a PCP appointment....telehealth though. They said they would call at 9:30 AM to go over my meds but they called at 8:45 AM. I was in a meeting but luckily I was able to call them back. Then the doctor is supposed to call me. I'm not sure what time because they gave me like three different times. 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, and 10:45 AM. So sometime between now and lunch I figure. I just want her to call so I can get it over with. They asked me for my vitals and I was like IDK. They are like you don't have a scale (nope), or a blood pressure cuff (nope--although I think my Dad has one). I'm like if you want all this stuff then it can't be telehealth. I think the appointment will probably be stupid and pointless. That's why I just want to get it over with. I hope she will refill my inhaler but IDK. I usually go to urgent care when I need one so she's never prescribed it. IDK if she will or not.

Yeah it really is hard to do telehealth for physical things... Not everybody has medical equipment on hand...

Going to get up super early tomorrow, walk to the library to return my books, then come back, then go to the dollar store to get some stuff I need. Then on Friday I'll go grocery shopping.

I'm washing a set of sheets in the laundry right now so at least that's something productive, I had been putting that off as well.

Trying to think of somewhere to eat with my sister next weekend. Maybe Denny's since indoor seating will be open then.
