The vet says she’s in great shape. Which is really good considering she’s 13 years old. She weighs 9.4lbs and could stand to gain a tiny bit of weight but she’s in really good shape he said

For some reason I am starving today, even though my Dad made me scrambled eggs for breakfast! Maybe it is because I know we are having barbecue for lunch today at work. Tomorrow is Pizza day. One thing about my work is that we do have a lot of food! Tomorrow is also donut Friday.

Helen Rose threw up this morning, on the new carpet (of course!) so I woke my Dad up and he helped me clean the carpet. But before I went to work she was eating again, so I am not too worried. Cats throw up all the time. I asked my Dad to keep an eye on her.

Today is my parent's 49th wedding anniversary. That is like a long time. It's pretty cool though. I'm kind of sad because I don't have a partner, but I am really happy for them. They got a new dishwasher to celebrate but it isn't supposed to arrive until tomorrow. My Dad also is having some flowers delivered to my Mom and he got her a card and he is making her a roast tonight for dinner because that is her favorite dinner. My Dad really is the best.

Once I'm working part time I get to come home and get greeted by my cats. That will be the best part of the day. And once I'm back in college (I'll probably be doing online classes trough my community college) I'll have two little helpers to help me study

Stash is hanging out in her cat carrier. Maybe that’s a good sign because Maybelle was in it to go to the vet today so it probably smells like her

I’m talking to the guy from high school, we talked a bit about our differences and the reasons I kind of ended things the other day. We are still going to talk to each other a lot and be friends but will see again in a couple years if we’re both still single and if things change with our different situations we may give things a try then. Maybe by then I’ll be fully supporting myself financially and be able to move, feel mentally ready for that , who knows, we’ll see, it’s still a possibility that things could work eventually. In the meantime we can date other people if we want and if one or both of us finds someone else and decides in a few years that we don’t want to get back together that’s fine too.
