My grocery list for tomorrow

I’m making homemade linguine and white clam sauce recipe this weekend that my mom always made. I got the recipe from her before she passed away.

I made up our menu for next week already!

I don’t remember the order off the top of my head. But the menu includes: Pork tenderloin and potatoes, ham and cheese stuffed chicken breasts, pasta (we bought a bunch of fancy gluten free pasta so we’ll figure something out), breakfast for dinner (have some back bacon to eat), kangaroo and brie burgers, tomato soup and grilled cheese, and a night (Monday) out to a restaurant.

I’m excited. Especially the kangaroo burgers. I’ve been wanting to try it for a long time but I’m actually going to do it this next week. Holding myself to it. Only thing that’ll stop me is if they don’t have ground kangaroo in stock.

But yeah, I like to plan meals a week in advance. Rest of this week includes: Crab cakes, turkey tacos, and breaded chicken thigh with gravy and mashed potatoes.

That sounds really good Cogladaid

I make meal plans a week in advance too.

I think I’m gonna do the coffee bar thing on Friday. Tomorrow I have a pre inspection, grocery shopping and have to go somewhere else as well so will be busy. But Friday I can reward myself for making it through the inspection by getting a cappuccino and a book. Tomorrow is the coffee bars opening day. I don’t know how busy they’ll be on Friday but I’ll go and see

Looks like they’re open 8am to 8pm. So I’ll probably go around 10:30 or 11am Friday

I think the most important thing about trying to cook things is to have fun. I love cooking that you can play around with things. Recipe says 1/4 teaspoon? See how it is maybe it needs 1 teaspoon. It’s all experimenting and just having fun. Follow a base and wing it.

I emailed back that psychologist and decided to put myself on a wait list. Three months or six months we’ll see. Maybe I’ll change my mind. I feel okay right now but it’s something I should deal with eventually. Maybe I won’t need it who knows.

Yes that’s true, I need to get a good set of seasonings and start trying out different things

Okay so this is cool, my sister gets off work early on Friday. So she’s gonna pick me up at 5pm and we’re gonna go there to the coffee bar/bookshop/eatery place. They’re open until 8pm. I’m gonna pay for us to eat and have coffee and am going to buy her a book or something from their gift shop since her birthday is Sunday.

Well I got the cats set up with the stuff they need for the month. I ordered them a case of 40 cans of wet food, plus another case of 24 cans of wet food, cat treats, and some toys from the Chewy website. So they're good to go. That lessens the amount I have to carry back from the store. They have enough litter and dry food right now. When they run out of litter or dry food I can go to the Family Dollar near here and buy them more

Also got everything I need for the month in terms of household essentials, cleaning items etc. And I got myself two pairs of joggers/yoga pants, and a replacement purse. The only thing I'll need to buy in person is paper towels and a new trash can.

I grudgingly bought myself the joggers, I need them because I have been wearing the same 2 pairs for a few years now. I have a hard time buying myself new clothes for some reason. I think I just hate the idea of spending money on stuff I may end up not fitting later if I lose or gain weights. I haven't had a purse nearly a year. My last one got thrown up on by one of the cats and it got ruined. So I haven't used a purse for a long time but winter is coming to an end eventually and I won't have my winter coat pockets to store my wallet and phone etc so I needed to finally replace that.

My two roommates are at war. Everything had been going fine until they had another clash about a week ago and since then it's been terrible.

My one roommate fell down and she's been afraid to walk and the staff keep yelling at her, because she's not supposed to walk on her own. She's in a wheelchair since she fell but she's having panic attacks where she is moving her legs but not getting anywhere. I feel terrible for her.

And my friend won't say he loves me anymore. I think he's upset about my weight, which would upset me too if it were him. I know he loves me though. He shows it in a million different ways. Anyway, today he has a CAT scan and a procedure on Friday. I'm very worried about him. Maybe he has feelings for someone else now. Hell, I still am thinking about that guy here. I think he hates me now, it's complicated. So I know all these things can be true at once.

I'm scared and daf. I hope things will be ok.

Since our last lockdown a bunch of the smokers have lost the little bits of wellness they had. I wish they'd stop doing that to us.

So my inspection went by. Just have 2 minor things for maintenance to fix. That’s not a problem.

I ordered pizza from dominoes today. And molten chocolate lava cakes, which are so amazing.

I stayed up till 2 am worrying they’d do the inspection around 8 am, I didn’t want to oversleep. I fell asleep for a few hours of light sleep around 2am then woke up at 6:30am and have been waiting for them but they didn’t do the inspection till 12:30pm. I was planning on grocery shopping but that’s gonna have to wait till tomorrow, I don’t like going late in the day when there’s tons of people. I like going early when there’s hardly anyone there, because of anxiety. So I ordered a pizza instead to hold me over. Tomorrow I’ll go grocery shopping early, then walk to Family dollar to buy household essentials. Then shower and get ready for the cafe we’re going to at 5pm.

Thanks it was the pre inspection. The actual code enforcement inspection by the city is next Tuesday. But only like a handful of random apartments are chosen for that one , like 19 out of the 50 something apartments here

How are you?
