Headache today. Neckache today. Ugh.

Talked to T yesterday about vulnerability. We have been talking about this for two sessions but only a little bit each session because it is an overwhelming topic. We are going to talk about it next week too.

Hallucinations are better at the moment. And my focus has been good today. Have a lot to do at work today so that is good that I have focus. And my dissociation isn't too bad today. I guess today I am doing pretty well!

I submitted the 500 word essay from being nominated as tenant of the year for supportive housing , only 1-2 people in this entire region (upstate NY/ and NYC) will be chosen as winner(s). So I don’t know how good my chance is of winning but even if I still get a certificate for being nominated and it’s nice to be acknowledged/picked.

Is it a bad idea to ask my psychiatrist to take me off my meds? Specifically the Thorazine? I'm really conflicted about it. I want to lose weight and it's hard with the thorazine and I sleep a lot/sedated a lot. I don't want to replace it with anything, just come off of it

Also my bf doesn't believe I have any mental health issues even though I do, and that meds aren't great but said he won't tell me what to do as far as whether to come off them or not

I would say don’t go off. Every time you try to go off meds you end up manic, or don’t sleep, or delusional. Spending lots of money, etc.

I think your bf doesn’t know **** about mental health.

Yeah you’re probably right

Like he’s very invalidating about it, he was on meds for a very short period of time like 10 years ago and thinks he knows everything about mental health etc and thinks he can judge everyone else’s mental health like he’s a professional

I gonna continuing to take my meds. It’s frustrating cause this is the one thing we can’t really talk about because he’s invalidating and thinks his experience is the only experience

Omg, a little while ago I was thinking that I need Botox and I didn't say it aloud or anything, and here in my Tapatalk ads there's a big commercial for Botox! Yes, I think the phone reads my mind. Too many coincidences.

Yes, it's a terrible idea to come off your meds. Thorazine lets you sleep, you shouldn't come off it.

I’ve had that happen before a few times. Really is odd lol

I have also had it happen where I’m on the phone with someone and mention something then when I get off and log into Facebook I get ads for whatever it was I mentioned

Blue_Bird, good luck on the essay and no I don't think you should come off of your meds. You don't seem to do well without them. Not a criticism. I don't do well off mine either. HUGS Kit

I find it freaky how I can have a conversation out loud with someone and then the adverts change. Also dating my ex we used to get similar ads but since we split I’ve not had the same ones.

I’m sorry you feel that way. I’m sure it probably got picked up somehow .

Went to Walmart today. Got a case of cat food. And a pair of leggings and 2 T-shirt’s. I haven’t bought new clothes for myself in over two years (aside from undergarments) so it feels nice. I’m trying to rebuild my wardrobe since most of my clothes are so old and worn out. I will do it a little at a time every month. Plus I plan on going to Plato’s Closet which has gently used nice clothing you can buy, for very affordable prices. Apparently they get some really good stuff there. I don’t mind used clothes. As long as they’re in good condition. All of that stuffs in a lot better shape than my old clothes anyway.

I decided to hold off on the violin lessons. It’s too expensive for me right now. Like $120 for 3 lessons a month is a lot. For me anyway. It’s not realistically in the budget right now especially since I need new clothes, a haircut and to pay towards college. Once I get all those taken care of maybe I can consider it again. Oh also vet care for the kitties.

I’m okay. Not as tired but still getting lightheaded. See doctor on Tuesday. Been eating more iron rich foods like steak and beans. Having kangaroo loin for dinner later (it’s lean, high protein, and twice the iron as beef). Duck breast tomorrow. Goat curry on Monday.

Long weekend this weekend. So mostly relaxing.

Didn’t really do much yesterday. Today had chiropractor, Starbucks, did some grocery shopping. I went with my mom to her MRI. Then went to this non-alcoholic beverage store and bought some alcohol free gluten free beer. Then went to this bougie market and bought a bottle of wine (to make risotto). Now just watching tv with my mom.

We were hungry while we were out and about so we picked up some chicken fingers and ate those when we got home lol.

The liquor stores around here are having the union on strike so if I need wine I’m going to small market stores (I ain’t no scab).

Maybe go see Barbie tomorrow. Might go to Costco on Monday if they’re open.

That’s an interesting variety of food , I’ve never had goat, duck, or kangaroo, but heard they’re good

I’m glad you’re seeing your doctor, hopefully they have some answers for you
