From Tuesday night to now-- I have been trying best to catch myself when I start to dwell on things-- and to make the desision of 1) is it really that important --> let it go. 2) if it is important ---> what are you going to do to try to get the result you want --> do that and see what happens.

Dwelling on things is a bad thing that I do at times, and can be rather bad... so trying best to catch myself more recently.

I took the time to let my mother and children know just how much I love and appreciate them! I bought them cards and wrote heart-felt loving letters to them. This made me feel wonderful, as it did them!

Today, I dismantled two wrought iron shelving units, packaged them up, washed and boxed a bunch of items that were on the shelves, did four loads of laundry, vacuumed and washed floors in preparation for the freezer coming in tomorrow. With the help or my two sons by my side.

Good job guys!

I took the dog to the park and the doggie store (to get him new bones).
I also returned a few things at the store.
Took a nap - does that count?
Thanks for this!

Made an easy path for my father to bring the freezer in for me. Dismantled two shelving units for him and had them packaged and ready for loading as soon as teh freezer was brought in. The whole job took less than five minutes!!

I told Therapist-- about every thing-- all the bad thoughts, all the acting upon them, about to do them, deep planning on the no failure on the plans..... I did not tell her per say the plans... but enough I think. She was concerned, told me to take a verbal contact with her, and to see the nurse to ask about this med they put me on---- but told Therapist I also lied the last time I was in with her, that i had a problem, and a big problem i could not talk about with her, but brushed on to day.....

She tells me not to be hopeless; she sees a lot of potential in me-- and it is me that has to accept these good things that people see in me and tell me... i will try

I read the chapter of the packet she gave me too-- it says to fill out when more stable so will do so. but i read it and underlined things that I feel close with-- that i understand, and that I should keep remembering to try to help self.....

Waiting for call to see if I am to take meds again today or stop.

Was helped to feel better [I think] by my morning medication and managed to get out of bed.

Followed up in person on an online app. I think. Lol. The guy wasn't there (to even confirm I'd guessed the right place as the ad didn't say!)

Did most of the dishes, some of which have been sitting for a couple of days.
I am afraid I am going to get some kind of major punishment for how lazy I have been.
I better go do something else. I'm really hungry. I guess making something to eat
would be a right thing to do. Okay - I have a sense of purpose now.

Shoes on the right feet? I saw the movie "Waking Up Wally" about Wayne Gretzky's father's recovery from a bad stroke and subsequently brain surgery; "shoes on right feet" was one of his retraining skills. What a story - imagine being Wayne OR his dad, and the dad not really knowing who Wayne is, or how much he helped Wayne. MI, however you come by it, can be so sad.

Today, I helped my good friend Benny out today, I visited with his disabled father while he went to the store, when he got back, I went to Subway. We split a five dollar footlong from Subway, my treat, since he has feed me dinner for the last three years in my life. It has helped me out financially and has kept me feed. I owe him more than just a footlong sub, but as soon as I get back on my feet financially, I will pay it forward for him.
