Breakfast: Cheerios with blueberries, and two small sausage patties
Lunch: Half a PB&J and some Beef Macaroni Soup
Snack: Cheese stick
Dinner: Probably meatloaf. I don't have enough meat for anything else.

Blood sugar has been good.

Pigged out on on candy Rest of my diet was okay, I guess. Scrambled eggs, grilled cheese sandwich.

Also having horrible impulses to take 3 Adderalls at once. 1 alone made me manic. I should throw them away because I'm not supposed to have them, but I can't

Who knows what 3 will do

I'm addicted to making myself hypo/manic

I was recently hypo (stress triggered it), but I was irritable, so I felt I was cheated (which is a pretty stupid reason)

Also have personal issues that I want to forget about

I'm not so great with med compliance... Stopping cold turkey, taking larger doses than Rx'd (e.g., extra Lexapro to induce hypo), taking meds I should not take, skipping doses (either intentionally or unintentionally)

I started logging in my calorie-counting app yesterday. I'm using 1200 as my goal as that's what i used before in 2007 / 8 when i lost all that weight. Yesterday i went over by 150. I forgot how little food 1200 calories is. I have the rest of the day planned to come in under 1200.

I'm so enjoying herbal tea! I drink this fruity Zinger kind. It's so great! I think i like it even as much as i like Coke Zero and that's saying something.

Tara, congrats on your loose jeans! I remember that feeling! After one year of dieting i went on a hike with my support group and i kept having to pull my jeans up. Yes! I want that feeling again! And remember: one bad day does not ruin a whole week.

hi blue, sorry to confuse you.
I just wondered if you knew why you were so resistant to taking your meds as they are prescribed? Wondered if you have a therapist to talk you thru these emotions.

Omg. I don't even remember writing that. I must've been sooo drunk from Seroquel. I seriously don't remember... I'm sorry for that.

The only thing I remember was taking 150mg of Seroquel XR and feeling uncoordinated and my eyes being all over the place... Like double vision and my eyes moving up and down uncontrollably.

Anyway, I think I just don't take care of myself, I guess. Sometimes I also let my emotions and moods overtake my logic. Other times I'm just flat out lazy. There are a lot of issues.

I definitely need to work on these issues with a therapist -- I agree. I plan to during our next session on Wed.

I drink the zinger teas too! They are so delicious. No need to add any sweetener!

Hey all. New here.
I thought i would join on this thread. I am going to once again try to start eating better. We are doing a weight loss thing at work and it has been a total bust for me. I have lost and gained the same 5 pounds repeatedly. I don't know why I suck so much at sticking to anything. I will be all gung ho and then something will happen and i will stop watching what I eat and end up back where I started.
I am gonna try rejoin the gym since I have been pretty good moodwise, want to start swimming again. I am waiting to catch a healthy addiction one of these days, x like those people who have to go running every morning or they freak out. I think part of my problem is I can't keep food in the house or consistently cook for myself on a regular basis. So I end up falling back to eating crap. Well tomorrow is a new day and I am gonna give myself a clewan slate to improve my diet and exercise.

My grandmother said she can tell I've lost weight today! No one else has said anything. I figured you couldn't really tell because all I've really done is lost what I gained over Christmas. But it was like the first thing she said to me today! So happy.

I did really well today on carbs and calories. Hoping for another pound lost by Saturday. That would make it fifteen!

Welcome Naynay99! We're all in this together!

Tara, so happy for you that someone noticed your weight loss! I remember how good that feels.

I did well today until this evening when i ate half a mixing bowlful of buttery popcorn! Ack! Having such trouble getting started in this diet. I may be too depressed to diet. The weather is improving tho and that usually lifts my spirits. We had sun today that was so strong it was actually warm. The snow is going... Oh well, i guess i'll just keep at it. At least the popcorn didn't cost anything as it was homemade and it had some redeeming nutritional value... Lots of fiber!

[later]

I exercised! I did a 15 minute YouTube walking video with Leslie Samsone. I didn't think i was going to make it but i did the whole thing! Then i did some good stretching. I hope to exercise Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I always get restless late at night and the gym in the building closes at 10:00pm and i'm not comfortable walking outside this late so this is a great solution! And free! Yay!

Had a sh#t breakfast at IHOP to complement my sh#t day. Eggs, toast, hashbrowns. Could've been worse, I guess. (Yeah, I know... "worse", right?) I mean, I was thinking about getting the cinnamon roll French toast, but I found out that was 1700 calories (because I looked it up on my phone out of curiosity--and I'm glad I did).

Lunch was medium Cajun fries from Five Guys because, well, why not. Sh#t day is already more ruined with my sh#t breakfast. Might as well eat sh#t for lunch too.

Then, because my work has free candy, I ate 3 mini Milkyway bars

I wasn't satisfied after my 'diet' dinner so i went and got an old ice cream sandwich out of the freezer. I was just about to tear into it when i paused. Do i want this treat or do i want a good weigh-in? I chose the latter. I threw the treat plus three more i had in my freezer down the garbage chute. Yay for small victories!

Wow, tossing a perfectly good ice cream sandwich! You are a rock star!
Seriously, I would've probably eaten it even if it was all iced over and gross and expired.Lol.

But, speaking of small victories- we are doing a weight contest thing at work and I actually lost 1 pound this week when I thought I was gonna be up. I don't really think it is anything I did as I have been crap tracking what I eat lately. But I'm gonna start swimming again so maybe that will help?

I have heard it is 80/20. 80% of what we eat and 20% of exercising.
So what we put in our mouths every meal mater. I have gained and lost 5 pounds now...hate this.
