Wow! It's been a long battle with cough/bronchitis. You must feel a bit discouraged at this point?

Glad you are seeing the doc.
I hope you recover soon!

So I've been without my meds now for 1.5 days and its decent. I'm coping. I am hoping that my script will be ready soon. I called it in on Saturday. They need a preauthorization from my psychiatrist though. In other news, my physical therapy is doing its job for me. I was skeptical at it doing anything for my kind of problem, but its working. For Shaws, I did not get the job. Its ok. I have a job already. I'm just trying to decide whether or not to get a car still over here now or wait. I have my eye on a few cars, but I still wonder if I even need one. I have no life. I'm sure I'll decide soon.

Ok I didn't make it out to my appointments so I said ok I'll springclean. Not happening. I started to spiral so I did everything I could think of...chatted with my mom, daughter and brother. Went and got the mail. Cuddled my dog. Started reading the new James Patterson and it's still so bad I called my pdoc to see if I can see him before Thursday. This disease is cruel and I feel like a failure. I feel like if I was stronger or tried harder I could overcome this. I also feel like I'm letting people down on here and in my life when I do well then fail. Maybe I'm in between the depression and moving toward being stable.

I have to see a pulmonary specialist on May 2nd, lung capacity test that day before appointment. New inhaler and absolutely have to quit smoking. I'm not smoking as much as I was but have to get myself off these evil things.

Checking in while the ships are still coming. Read an article in ZH this morning that suggested that the DPRK was already capable of detonating an EMP over the mainland, putting America in the dark for ten years and killing nine out of ten in the process. Every military needs a credible enemy. I've been thinking a lot about my failures, seeing an increasingly clear pattern that I don't want to repeat but will.

Have you had a good experience with ECT? My therapist says research it and my pdoc says absolutely not. Can you tell me what the advantages and disadvantages are? Thank you.

Not the place for this post Lefty. There are other forums for this sort of thing.

Lefty likes to think outside the box. His update thread posts often reflect that.

I just sent you a very long private message (which may've gone a bit further into it than you requested).

I will say here, since I forgot it in the PM, when meds were not working, ECT did and continues to do so.

I had a better day today.
It appears the Adderall has some potential for helping. Time will tell.
Here's hoping it will be helpful with minimal adverse side-effects.

It's so nice to finally have some sunshine and some Spring weather!

No more sushi, at least not from that restaurant. I've been having all kinds of problems today. My guts have been in an uproar since last night.

I wrote a poem, made dinner, took a shower, and got my hair done. I also tried to nap, but no such luck.

Just waiting until I go to bed (if my GI tract will let me).

I feel good for a while and then a wave of depression comes over me for like
an hour or so and then I feel ok again. I don't know anymore.

Well, the cycle continues. Hypomanic during the day depressed at night. My pdoc upped my Lithium and gave me 200mg Seroquel to sleep last night I hand't been sleeping and was in a bad way. I slept a good 7 hours and am now hypo again. Loving the hypo but the crashes are BAD and make me have severe SI. Today I have to study for a test which is tomorrow. Don't know how I will go being so distractible but i will try. Only have to pass, which I should. Today I have my Mum then a friend visiting which will be great.
