What about just having had surgery? Shouldn't that get you some extra time? My mom is a professor and she certainly would be understanding in that case.

@HALLIEBETH87:

You've come so far, i'd hate to see you give up now. When i did my degree, i had an episode at the end and i got a medical certificate to delay my pivotal final exam for a few months. I didn't graduate with my class, but i DID graduate. Is something like this an option for you?

@raspberrytorte:

So sorry to hear you are struggling with such difficult symptoms. Sending good vibes your way!

@BeyondtheRainbow:

Congratulations on the good medical results!

But I also get bilateral treatments which is the strongest form and also the most damaging to memory. Most people can get away with unilateral.

If you want any info from personal experience just PM me.
Thanks @wildflowerchild25! I meet with my pdoc in about 11 days and I'll probably PM you after that. Much appreciated!

I'm really bummed out. There's a concert (More of a live music venue, but I know the artist and the organizers.) happening tonight. I've got my ticket and everything, but I'm feeling like the wind has been knocked out of me. Back's hurting, I'm exhausted and I'm just generally shuffling along.

Also, it's a combined hour a half trip to and from the venue with me getting by midnight. I'm thinking it might be practical to just go home.

Oh boy. My poor cat. Thursday I was gone from 9am to 7pm and today from 11am to 5pm. He is loudly yelling at me. He won’t be comforted and doesn’t want his food, just want to sit on me and vocalize. Today I went to bingo. The lady I went with won $90 but I didn’t come close to winning. Still it was fun. Then we went and picked up an angel from an angel tree. I had a three yr girl. Got her everything on her wish list plus batteries for the karaoke thing.

Its so strange/funny that the lady I’m becoming friends with, we have so much in common. Her two daughters names are the same as my daughter and granddaughter. They are not the most common of names either. Plus we both worked as CNAs and we both got asked to go to school to become RNs and we both and abusive husbands! We grew up here she’s 2 yrs older so we didn’t know each other in high school. We both have sisters that are ten yrs older and 7 yrs older. The difference is that she also has a younger sister. So weird

He did. He sat on my lap and yowled then hopped off and clawed at the tree and went to bed. So I think I’m forgiven.

There's nothing like a cat with a grudge. Abbycat was home without me for 3.5 days this week (my mom was in and out and spent time with her every day so she was well taken care of and loved on) and she's not forgiven me for that. Then I've needed to be away for a few hours yesterday and 5 hours today and the grudge came back. I think I've been forgiven but on her terms only. I don't know how long until she forgets to be angry completely. Maybe if I just could stay home all day one day it would help but so far that's not happening for a few more days.

Glad Sir has forgiven you.

Today was an off day physically for me. PT just proved that I need to move around more. I was so achy from it. I was in pain everywhere. I took a 1.5 hour nap this afternoon and I woke up and I could barely walk. Then I took 2 advil, which I shouldn't and used a lidicaine patch and now besides some achyness in my legs I feel fine.

My mom got the flu, rsv, and covid shots yesterday and shes been pretty out of it and not feeling good all day. So besides a stop at Sonic its been a low key Saturday which has been fine with me since I was under the weather all day too.

I'm kind of scared to get the covid shot. I just remember after my second vaccine having a pyschotic episode from it and my mom had to drive me around town to distract me because I was close to having a mental breakdown. I called my primary doctor and he said that yeah mental health side effects can happen.

It was just freaky.

@HALLIEBETH87 Are you back on your Lyvaldi (not sure of the spelling of that one)? How much longer until you can resume it? It seems to work so well for you.

PS Your professor sounds like a huge jerk not giving you some medical allowances.

I'm in a **** **** **** ton of pain right now and I think I need to do something. It started around 2 after I woke up from a nap. But nothing is working and recently I've tried Tylenol, a hot water bottle, and a lidicaine patch. I fell asleep for an hour but my pain has never interfered with my sleep or appetite like this before. I'm hoping its still just some body aches related to PT yesterday. Theres nothing right now I cam do except just try to relax.

The melatonin hasn't helped me sleep longer, but it's helped me wake up after 3 - 4 hours feeling rested, which is nice.

My paranoia seems to have subsided a bit for now, but that could just be because I took some anti-anxiety pills and am feeling pretty good.

I blame my spiraling madness on the Sudafed I was taking when I was sick. I'm NEVER taking Sudafed again!

Nope. I’m not. My Pdoc never messaged me back about when it’s safe to resume. I see him
Tuesday though. However I did notice he has me taking a smaller dose of zyprexa than lybalvi. Wonder if that matters.
