Dinner was good. Ate too much though. It was nice to be with N2 and her boyfriend.

My prn of serequel helped a lot. I'm going to take another one tonight. I might just have to be intentional about taking it two or three times a week. We'll see.

School was alright today. The all school activity that happened for Catholic Schools Week seemed to have gone well. I might have head lice (it's in at least a couple of grades at my school) so I spent some time dealing with that this evening. I don't put my head near students so, if I do in fact have lice, I have no idea how I got it. Even though I had to deal with this, I was still able to get a walk in.

Tomorrow is a busy day. I have a meeting with a parent before school and have students coming in during recess/lunch to work on labs they've missed.

Guys my day at work was sooooooo GOOD!

The students were SO well behaved. Granted, it was their first day of high school but oh my word. Everyone did what I asked them to do and they were all on track.

I am just so pleased it all went so smoothly.

A huge Well done for moving through the challenges of school and the many many dynamics at play!! A real credit to you atop the other things that are going on in your life. All the best with the meeting tomorrow too, I'm sure you'll ace it.

Question - Its fantastic that the Seroquel is helping. Have you had issues with it causing racing heart and or agitation within the first half hour of taking it AND THEN the sedative calming side kicks in?

You know what - today was an awesome day. I spent a deal of it in bed, and, rose to the occassion when needed. There was some volunteer work that needed to be done after someone reached out, so I completed that, then trundled off and did some paid work, down cleaning public toilets. All done now and home for a quick peek a click on the laptop. Doctors tomorrow where I'm going to plead my case to get into the Psy Dr for a tweak or two.

May you all be sleeping soundly/reading a good book/watching something uplifting/raiding the fridge/ or snoring loud enough to keep the local squirrels awake. lol

I'm doing well today, pretty happy. I had a lot of energy for my power walk this morning! After a shower & breakfast, I read for an hour with my SAD lamp though it took forever to get an earworm from a song on my walking playlist out of my head. I hate those earworms! I did a load of laundry and drew. Only 2 pictures today because my mom called, and I was on the phone for awhile. Still, both pictures turned out nicely (in the Creative Corner). I was quite happy with both of them, especially the goldfinch, which was not easy to draw and quite complicated to color. I also got a cute picture of my cat Pecan

I feel kinda better. I resceduled therapy for tommorow and my kidney doctor for Febuary 12th. I'm just off and on. I got more dramamine and pepcid which helped.

My birthday is on Tuesday. My mom is going to invite my sister and her family over for dinner on Sunday. But I don't really care it much.

I'm so frustrated I can't eat what I want without getting sick.

I did do a bit of working out but now I'm not feeling good again. I did more then yesterday though.

OMG, this F***ing stupid washing machine overflowed AGAIN! I am grateful it was not sewage water, but UGH! H is working from home today, and he wasn't quite sure why it overflowed this time. He is going to replace the dial since he bought a new one the last time the machine did this, but then the machine seemed to fix itself, so he never replaced it. I hope that fixes it. In the meantime, the garage is all wet. Our garage is more like a spare room, and we have large rugs in there which all got flooded. I brought in pretty much all our rag towels. After the water dries some, I'll have to spray Lysol or something in there so it doesn't get moldy.

I really just want a new washing machine, but H says he's replaced every part practically on this machine, knows how to take it apart and put it back together, and we're not getting a new machine until the tub starts falling apart.

I see my gp this morning. I need to ask her about taking on an extra class. I think it can be done. It’s a high achievers class so generally you get a lot less behavioural issues. Holding thumbs.

I really need to phone to book an appointment with my psychiatrist next week. But that means I need to go in for lithium blood test. Ughhh. I don’t feel like going in this morning when I’m going in to the practice at 10:30. I want to ask my pdoc if I can stop the lithium anyway. He’s stopped it before when I’ve been stable and just had me on abilify and my AD.

I slept last night. Clonidine worked! It was a (broken, with nightmares) 7 hours. I feel like shyt today! Just really tired and weak. Almost like I just spent a month being sleep deprived but crashed and am feeling all the activity at once (I wonder why...)

Feeling okay today. Ended up getting really late so wasn't able to work much, but I am really excited about this job interview - I hope it will solve my money woes. This Invega is still keeping me grounded, where I am so fatigued, I can't get up and do things, but I am hoping it will pass. Cleaned up some of my house today, (which I haven't done in forever), so I am hoping I am getting back into my normal routine.

I hope everyone has had a lovely Thursday, even though it was bleak, rainy and dreary in my neck of the woods today - but hopefully somebody had some sunshine!

Constipation is worse. Talked with a nurse. She said to restart the Metamucil and it’s lucky I have an appointment with my primary to discuss the constipation on Monday. Been drinking water like a fish. Peeing a lot of course. No bleeding so far. But I think all the straining is making my hemorrhoids worse on the outside but the internal ones have not burst like two weeks ago with all the blood but they could if straining continues.

Call your doctor’s after hours! Talk with a nurse. A bad stomach ache is nothing to mess around with.

Have you ever been prescribed lactulose for constipation? It works better than Metamucil though for me there was a time my GI doc had me on both lactulose and Metamucil for constipation. The lactulose is a synthetic sugar, comes in liquid form, isn't the greatest tasting stuff, but it may be worth asking about?

Never heard of lactulose! Is it prescription? I’ll make sure to ask about it. I’m taking colace too.

It's interesting that you ask this because I am wondering if seroquel makes my POTs symptoms (which can include a racing heart) worse. I especially wonder if it makes the POTs symptoms of light headedness and dizziness worse. I have not had an issues with agitation. I tend to feel okay when I take it, it's the day after that I don't always feel great physically.

I'm going to immediate care in the morning. I have real bad hemmroids or something and I've been in the bathroom all day and night and they are just painful as ****.

I swear it was the mostly spring mattress.

Was a beautiful day, sunshine and a record breaking temperature. I’m loving the new snowless warm January.

I took an extra ambien last night and slept great! Went to sleep shortly after getting in bed and woke up 9 hours later refreshed and rested. Sigh. Can’t do that all the time though, just get used to the new dose.

Went to my daughter’s house and hung out. Then stopped to get the car washed. It was sooo dirty. It’s rare to get a chance to wash the car this time of year.

Yeah feeling great from the extra sleep I got. Why does sleep have to be so elusive for bipolar people?
