Right on my 1500 calorie goal as usual. 5719 steps, which is supposedly an extra 232 calories burned.

Trying the Keto diet right now. Having hypoglycemia some times. It is frustrating trying to stay within the calorie limit and eating three times a day. I have to take at least 300 calories when I take my Latuda and another 300 when I take my Seroquel. Very frustrating.

Down to 264.8 lbs. damn. I guess it was all that walking I did yesterday and all the extra chores I've been doing over the weekend. Been eating the usual fruits and veggies and some protein.

Do you mean you had eaten 902 calories? If so, I do not know how you are managing this. You must be hungry all the time. But hey, if it works for you, then I applaud your discipline and effort.

MFP assigned me 1,280 daily calories to reach my weight goal. Most days I stay way under because I eat soup (100 calories ) and salad. I’m considering a plant based lifestyle. I’ve tried the Premier Protein drinks but they upset my stomach.

I’m going out to eat today. This is the first time I’ve ate at a restaurant since I’ve changed my eating in Jan 2018. I already know I’m ordered baked fished and I’ll get vegetables. We’re going to Cracker Barrel because we were given a gift card to go. I need to try to stay under 1,280 calories

MFP calories 1,181. Apple Watch steps 6,961. Water intake 33.8. I stayed under my daily limit even though I ate out at a restaurant. I worked out on the treadmill for thirty minutes.

I went to the Dr. yesterday and weighed in at 12 pounds over! I had stopped smoking and was eating everything in sight...especially sweets. I'm thinking of smoking again to lose the weight.

167.8 again today. I think I get less bouncing around on the scale than most people because there is so much repetition in my diet. The attached menu is breakfast and my pre-logged lunch for today. Sometimes it is turkey or fish instead of chicken at lunch and sometimes it is with veggies or a piece of fruit instead of salad. Breakfast is almost always the same. Lately there is almost always another bowl of oatmeal at night, trying to bring LDL down. There is often a fun size candy bar for a snack and nearly always a piece of citrus fruit. These are all things I like and choose to eat; I am not bored by it. Dinner tends to vary a lot more widely; I exercise good portion control and avoid some calorie laden dishes.

Hello there,

It actually has not been intentional. I’m just eating lots of soup, salads and salmon plus other low calorie foods.

no no no don't! Get a chest xray to make sure you don't have any lung damage. I am proud of you for quitting.
You can regain control of your eating try the paleo diet or atkins They allow for snacking of good foods, no counting calories etc.
good luck

My weight yesterday is 178. I had 1800 calories. I had a TJs Kung Pao chicken for breakfast. I just happened to be in TJs, and I saw this. Today, my weight is 179.

~4150 steps. ~1500 calories. About another month and I will start ratcheting the calories up; probably 10% to 1650 as the first step. I might do that sooner. In an odd way, it will be easier to lose really slowly than to figure out how to maintain my weight in the low 160s.

I weigh 178. My calorie intake was 2600 calories. Those TJs italian meatballs sure do add on to the calories of the dish. I am now thinking that I have to be just as disciplined as when maintaining the weight just as I was being on a diet to lose weight. I will figure this out. I do not want to count calories every single day. I think what may help is stay on a given meal plan, perhaps something that relates to that which I used to lose weight. I already am very familiar with those dishes and their associated calories. In other words, there may be a benefit to stay with what I already know. Also I think continuing to make daily meal plans in advance would be helpful, and not stray from them. Perhaps I need to keep tract of calorie totals by the week or maybe at least for every couple days? This means that if I eat too much on one day, I can adjust for this the next day or two. I am happy that since I can afford to gain a couple pounds, this gives me the leeway I need in trying to figure this out. I am learning that I cannot trust myself with making up the days meal plan as I go.

Tucson,
Sometimes I log things on the next day to roll extra calories forward. That's the easy way to average across days; just keep pushing the extra calories into the next day until you can resolve them.

Replying to myself because after I thought about it some more, it made sense to me to do this right away. I changed my settings on MFP to set my weight goal 7 pounds lower and changed the rate to half a pound per week instead of a pound. That changed my calorie goal to 1690. I am not going to try as hard to hit that every day as I did with it set to 1500, at least not at first. But I will make sure to go over 1500 every day.

Started Intermittent fasting today. Doing the 16:8 IF. Ive done this in the past and my energy levels and strength climbed tremendously as well as getting lean. However, Ive read it can also help with mood stabilization. So here it goes!

Here is a 2200 calorie day. I started with what I wanted for breakfast. This turned out to be scrambled eggs with chorizo. Then I chose what I wanted for lunch, which was two hotdog sandwiches. Both breakfast and lunch were from dishes I have had in the past when losing weight. So thus far, I kept to dishes familiar to me that I had eaten on my “diet”. Then I chose my dinner given my calorie intake thus far in the day. This is where I am choosing spaghetti with meatballs. The meatballs from TJs are very good with their share of 240 calories for just two meatballs. Finding that I still have calories left in my daily goal, I then am chosing to eat ONE small slice of cheese cake. I’ll be careful like this for tomorrow’s menu. I will see if this approach will work out. Perhaps call this mindful eating?

Tomorrow, I think I will start off with pancakes, which will is a high calorie dish. So I have to be considering this before choosing the lunch and dinner dishes. Perhaps oatmeal for lunch? And then a simple soup and sandwich for dinner? No desserts!
