My weight today was 214.2. Which is a 3.4 pound loss from July 4th. I know I've been on the lower Geodon since July 2nd or something, so I've been eating less and better and I haven't been feeling good either.

I got this walking pad online last night from Walmart. Its a treadmill without the sides so you just slide it under the bed when your not using it. I got a pretty good deal on it because of Walmart+ days and I had my gift card from my insurance company too.

So I'm hoping to start seeing some legit progress.

Second run of week 3 done, exactly the same as run 1 but felt easier. Beginning to wonder if it’s the time of day I go out, Monday’s run is late afternoon after full day of working and volunteering, and today’s was early morning, I always used to run first thing before eating and it seems to suit me better.

Food intake still going well.

New here. I'm not really watching my calorie intake much, but I just started couch to 10K today. First day wasn't bad, but I bet I'll be sore tomorrow. I want to lose 5-15 lb. The last med change after my hospitalization last Dec. made me gain about 15 lb., and none of my clothes fit any more. That also corresponds with me turning 46. Once I hit 46, I seemed to gain most of the weight in my midsection. I had been doing pilates daily and crunches, and it's helped some, but in the past I used to walk and jog, at one point jogging over 10 miles 5-6 days a week though perhaps that is related more to eating disorder thinking. I would like my clothes to fit again and not have to junk my entire wardrobe though once the Houston area recovers from Beryl I think I will see what I can pick up at Goodwill(still 1.3 million people out of power and the energy company serves 6 million customers, and a lot of places are still closed due to not having power or its workers not having power at home). Right now I only have 3 outfits that fit me (sigh).

I know I'm not fat, and my BMI is good, but I really need to shrink my midsection.

Since today was a rest day from couch to 10K, I walked 3 miles. I power walked most of it except the last quarter mile when slowed down to a talking walk pace. I am sore from couch to 10K yesterday, even my biceps. That's good though. I''d like to shape up my upper arms anyway. I hope I won't be too sore tomorrow though!

My weight yesterday was 213.6. Its up a bit today because of yesterday. Fluids and ****. I made some instant zero sugar butterscotch pudding and some instant zero sugar black cherry jello today. I've had most of the pudding. The jello is still sitting. I've had some coconut chunks too and an iced tea. I'm not too hungry today. I think its med related. My treadmill was delivered. I'll set it up in a bit.

I haven't eaten meat since a week ago Thursday. Its not really on purpose. I just get like this sometimes. Its called being a flexatarian. I eat meat sometimes. I think Jello has animal products in it though.

I was thinking of making some Bear Creek Chicken noodle soup.

I looked at Reddit 1200isplenty last night and got some ideas. I ate a box of sugar free pudding with 2 cups of reduced fat milk. Some zero sugar jello. And an Oikos Greek vanilla yogurt. I had something to drink too. For dinner I plan on eating a bag of Miracle spaghetti, and a mini cheese pizza made on a small flour tortilla. I'm at about 1210 calories, 124 carbs, and 43 grams of protein.

I went shopping this morning and got some yogurt, cottage cheese, turkey sausage, bagel thins, pretzel thins and some other stuff.

Not like I have much choice today. I'm at 889 calories so far. And super high on carbs at 231 and only 1 gram of protein. Theres nothing I can do about it. But I do feel headachy despite keeping up with my water.

@Mountaindewed Broth is a clear fluid so you can have that. It might get a little protein in and make you feel better. I found broth more filling than Jello when I had my colonoscopy.

Run 1 of week 4 of couch to 5k and longest run is 5 mins now, typically the running segment starts at the bottom of the hill but that’s good training I guess. Handled it okay.

I was told people are super hungry after this. I'm the opposite for some reason. I got a non dairy salted carmael cookie iced matcha afterwards at noon. But all I've had since is one bowl of sugar free blue jello. My weight is pretty low. Which I guess it would be.

I was at 213.8 this morning. Today my entire day will equal to 1,175 calories, 186 carbs, and 65 grams of protein and 1,895 grams of sodium.

I'm pretty sure its the med changes

I was 211.8 this morning. I stepped on the scale twice to be sure I was reading it right. I guess its just redoing my entire diet and turning into a health nut not by choice. I did eat a small order of cheese fries from Sonic but I got rid of all my soda and my bag of Reeses Pieces since chocolate isn't good either when you have a messed up stomach.

Its better to be a health nut then to be in pain and throwing up all the time.

I used the treadmill thing yesterday and today. Its not hard and I got the hang of it pretty quickly and I can walk on it without holding onto anything. Today my calories equal to 1260. Kinda high on carbs and low on protein though.

I made 2 batches of pudding and some jello. I'm going to make some overnight oats in a bit. I swear it helps.

I put all my cans of tomatos and beans in 2 bags to give to my sister. Tomatos have way too much acid, and beans well you know how that kids song goes, so I'm not gonna risk it with those either.

Phew! Just got back from my first running group session in over 5 years.,,, it was okay, but I had a big long walk either side of it and my steps are at 36,000 - can’t remember last time I did that many.

Felt okay at the running group and managed to chat a bit with a few people.

That's a LOT of steps! I don't know if I've ever done that many steps! And congrats on the running group session.

I walked today. Around 30 min. but at a slower pace. My body needs to recover from couch2 10K running (though I will probably stay at 5K, I just like the coaching better on this program than on the couch 2 5K program I have, though I'm doubtful it's the original couch to 5k because it doesn't have as good of coaching as I remember from doing couch to 5 in the past). I have a long way to go though. I'm only on something like day 3 of week 1

I have found though that even when you walk at a slower pace, if you still swing your arms as if power walking, it really tones the upper arms.

I saw too that my neighborhood park installed tension weight machines outdoors in the park and there is usually absolutely no one using them early in the morning. Once I get less sore from Couch, I want to try a few of them out.

I don't so much need to lose weight as tone up my muscles. That's what I'm aiming for. I don't count calories b/c of a past with an ED. It's just too trying. I try to eat mostly healthy in a day, but I def. am not a health nut. As long as I don't eat junk all day and throw in healthy fats, fruits & veg, yogurt or cheese, I'm happy with it.

Thanks . Yes it was a lot of steps, and probably too many because my hip was achy next day and I was tired, the weather was so nice though I was greedy to be outdoors, I also forgot I’m not as fit as I used to be!

I did 4 runs this week too instead of 3 because of the group session so that may have added to soreness and tiredness. Got the last run of week 4 in this morning and felt tired on that last 5 minutes run, but it’s in the bag and happy with that.

That’s so cool Blueberrybook you’ve got access to the outdoor weight equipment! Sounds like it could be good fun as well as toning and muscle building.

I ate ok today. About 1057 calories. I'm not sure what I'll eat for dinner. Maybe some stir fry. I'm not too hungry. I restarted the Golo with a diffrent mindset. Adding in the treadmill and quitting regular soda and candy and keeping it easy with the Diet Coke because of my stomach.
