I did my nice long power walk this morning, 7.2 mi. It also leaves me starving afterwards! I know I eat a lot more food than most women, and a lot of times the ED thinking makes me feel guilty but then I have to say "screw it, my body needs this for fuel and to maintain my weight". I have lost a lot of weight in the past year, well at lot for me, around 15 lb. But I had gained 15 lb. on generic Zyprexa, so it's pretty much getting back to my old baseline weight. Still am a healthy BMI and I do have a small frame as well which plays into it. Glad I am off Zyprexa now though because it was such a weight gainer for me, and that just was not good with an ED in my past.

Oh, and did a few pushups and planks, hope to repeat this afternoon if I don't forget about them!

Ohhhh I just had such a horrible migraine for the first time in a long while.

Looking back the food craving (carbs and sugar!) was part of the prodrome. It’s strange how even now I often miss the signs.

Went to bed this afternoon and listened to some soothing relaxation music, took meds, drank water. I’m coming around now but going to take it easy.

You sound like you’re lucky to have a fast metabolism Blueberry, I was like that when I was younger too, but you’re also incredibly active!

I woke up late today. I did eat 3 of these bakery pancake things and an organic fig newton type thing for breakfast. I got a caramel macchiato from Starbucks just so I could function. Then lunch was a jar of hearts of palms. My weight is better today at 220. Yesterday it was 223.

I only had 1400 calories yesterday so maybe thats where I need to be.

He’s not in healthy range yet but he’s a muscly guy and think that skews it.

Filling up on stuff like cucumbers and tomatoes with your cottage cheese might help sate your appetite too. Especially in warmer weather, and I’m guessing it’s still nice and warm where you are? In colder weather soup (homemade if possible) is a great option, not sure how cold your winter gets?
That’s awesome that your son lost so much weight healthily. Awesome! I’ll stock up on some cucumbers and tomatoes too. Great idea! It’s currently warm but next week we hit really cold crappy weather unfortunately

Yesterday I struggled all day with a chronic headache. My Wegovy went from 0.25ml to 0.5ml and I suffered so much I couldn’t get out of bed from midday I just lay down. Which was difficult because I had my son with me so I couldn’t actively fall asleep I could only lay there. I wanted the lights off but my son wanted them on and I didn’t win that argument. He sat in my bedroom playing with his toys then he was lying on my bed watching his iPad. I don’t have a headache today and I’m hoping it stays away because when I first started wegovy I had chronic headaches for 2 weeks!

So sorry about the migraine!

I do have a decent metabolism, but it really revs up when I exercise. But like you said, I exercise a lot. Most of my adult life I have been fairly active. I even was on the treadmill the day before I went into labor with my daughter, exercised the entire pregnancy and my delivery was a snap! I definitely think the exercise helped with that. And of course, the exercise helps my mood too. Even if I don't feel like exercising when I start, I feel good once I've finished it!

Vegetables with humus is also good. It's important to eat something for breakfast as well even if it's just a meal replacement shake or bar. I like vanilla fat free Greek yogurt with granola and mango (buy the mango frozen, thaw it overnight). And then, a healthy dinner is important too. One of my favorite go-to recipes is chicken fajitas; I buy wheat tortillas for myself and my daughter, white for H. And chicken veg stir fries are simple as well.

I microwave frozen mango pieces. I will try thawing overnight, mixing with plain Greek yogurt, and comparing the taste and texture with microwaved pieces

For dinner I normally find something I can throw in the air fryer like chicken and fish and have it with salad. I know I should be eating breakfast but it makes me so nervous because when I did start eating breakfast I put on 7kg and it’s just taken me 4 weeks to lose 6.3kg. Slow and steady.

I have seen a mini air fryer. I wonder if it is worth the price and kitchen space when I normally cook just for myself. But it is a very healthy way of xooking, right?

It’s very healthy because I don’t need to add oil. And it takes up very little space in my kitchen so it’s very ergonomically designed. Perfect space and it’s quicker than cooking in the oven!
Thanks for this!

I did the long 7.2 mile power walk this morning and practiced planks. I had pretty good energy and the moon was pretty until clouds covered it.

I need to stop drinking so much V8. Idk if its healthy or not but its got a shyt ton of sodium either way, which isn't good.
Weirdly my GI symptoms are fine when I drink it.

I'm ok so far today but I need more protein.

They have low sodium V8, but it doesn't taste nearly as good unless you add salt to it.

There are 6 oz cans of V8. I also do not like the low sodium version.

One 6 oz can a day should be ok. Chilled, yes.

I love plain kefir. Alone or in berry smoothies made in my blender. But I grew up with kefir, so it is different.

Kombucha, when it first appeared as a novelty, I liked a lot. Several years later, when it was already in the mainstream, I tried it and found it way too strong.

I tried that store brand kefir and I drank a glass but that was enough.

I was on a kombucha kick in summer 2020 but they always made me feel off after I drank one. I do like the watermelon one.

Never tried Kombucha before so I’m curious. I’m on plain kefir at the minute for my digestive system, not sure it’s helping or not, I like it though except some batches are more fizzy tasting than others.

I’ve read if you’ve got a weakened immune system to be careful though as the bacteria can cause problems in some.
