Thanks. It is quite frustrating, but interesting I guess in some ways to see how differently I react to the two of them. And how much I want that one to listen to/hear me. And in how much I don't know what difference it would make if the woman would do so.

No "maybe" to the doctor. You are going to need antibiotics for strep.

Would do so, or could do so? There is a difference between trying to be "optimally frustrating", which is a t tactic that I have yet to meet a t who knows how to handle THAT loaded gun - okay, so I think I just messed up my own point, which is that to be optimally frustrating is just to be annoying on purpose. And I have forbidden my t to try that tactic. He can try, but he knows he will pay! I just want sweetness and delight, I have had enough of trickery, misery, and mayhem.

So why expose yourself to your kryptonite while you're trying to get strong? I wouldn't even call it kryptonite, as that implies it will always win. But my t finally convinced me to get away and get strong. Why you gotta be like that Arnold the barbarian movie? I can't think of the name!

Wow, I was gone all day yesterday and today and the couch explodes. I had over 20 pages to catch up on. All caught up now.

My training wasn't too bad yesterday...it was more bearable than some of them are. Only 8 people in it and so far no one has asked a stupid question. Next class in this course is in 2 weeks. Have to give a reading diagnostic to 2 students before then. Have to do that Friday or next week, since the beginning of this week students will be busy taking state testing.

Couldn't sleep last night. Was up until 4:30AM, then finally fell asleep and woke up again at 8:30AM. Weird thing is, I'm not tired at all. I was up early yesterday too (7:00AM) to get dressed and leave for my traning. So that was a long day yesterday.

I spent too much money this weekend too. Blew over half my paycheck on junk. Then some bills come out automatically tomorrow too. With this no sleep thing and spending carelessless I am wondering if I am having a manic moment. Pdoc said I have the depressive type of schizoaffective disorder, but every few months I go on spending sprees and need very little sleep. so I'm wondering if he got the type wrong. Maybe I'm not "manic" long enough for it to be classified as a symptom. It usually only lasts 2 or 3 days when it does happen.

Well, I'm rambled enough, so I'll shut up now.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

I enjoy your attitude to your T. I feel validated in my own.

I'm bored too. Trying to decide if I want to email pdoc about my concerns or just wait until my appointment on Wednesday. I may chicken out by then as I will brush them off as unimportant, while right now I am feeling brave enough to mention them. Oh the joys of being indecisive.

Wild speculation: The first one reminds you of a parent, and therefore you expect more of her.

Just got back from a Mongolian Grill for dinner. Hu Hot or something. Very good, but their rating system for hot sauce is way out of whack. I got some of the hottest and it wasn't all that hot.

Fire ants are brutal attackers and people can have very severe reactions to the bites. I can remember my son sitting down on a curb at the zoo when he was about 3 and there apparently was a fire ant mound right there. They started biting and he started screaming. We literally had to strip him naked right there to get them all off of him and he was covered in blisters for days. My mother once got into a mound while she was working in the yard and her hand was bitten so many times so quickly that it swoll to almost twice its size and we had to run her to the ER. These are not your everyday sugar ants most people are used to seeing. They are awful and really difficult to get rid of.
Thanks for this!

We had to get rid of a fire ant mound yesterday. We should have torched them, but we used fire ant pellets. Seemed to work OK.

Great eat-out idea, but do you think there is any real connection with Mongolia?

Doubtful that there is any real connection, CE.

Supposedly, Mongol warriors cooked great feasts on their shields over an open fire using their swords as utensils.

Email sent. Now to see if he responds. Sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't.

And no I was not drunk, drugged (other than my normal meds), or under the influence of cool whip when I emailed.

Husband and son are out of town to go visit the University of Virginia. While they are gone, I'm throwing my saddle blankets and some other horse stuff in the washing machine. They fuss about it so I have to do it while they're gone. I also went thru a stack of clothes no one wanted to help me decide what to do with and took out one trash bag full of clothes to give away. It's kind of nice to have just me and my daughter here. We like the same food and the same music and the same tv shows. It's very peaceful.
