I tried to list as many as I could, but what type(s) of therapy have worked for you? By "worked" I mean, drastic changes in behavior and lifestyle evidenced by RL people who know you well.

Meditation has helped me.
Craniosacral has had very clear beneficial results for me as well.
Thanks for this!

Dang. I missed that one! I also forgot to add the option "Therapy has not worked for me".

I will never make a solid poll!

A number of different approaches have helped me, so I chose more than one. I'll be interested to see how this poll grows - right now I notice CBT, psychodynamic and writing (journaling I suppose) are in the lead. I have used all of those, they seem to help in different ways. I should have added bibliotherapy, but I find the right mindset in a book will help, and the wrong ones only make me feel more confused, so that has been a mixed bag.
Thanks for this!

For me it's been a combination of knowledge from reading, person centred therapy but maybe had more to do with the connection i had with that therapist, CBT for help with the negative thoughts playing in my head, and now just started trauma therapy which is somatic therapy and emdr and i think it's going to be really good at getting to the crux of all the issues i have. It's also helped me to do art in my own time to draw out my emotions but i haven't had art therapy or anything.

I can't answer this because I have no idea whether any RL people think my behaviour is any different. But I notice lasting changes after psychodynamic therapy, which is the only mode I have tried. (I have also been in psychodynamic therapy that did not do anything for me.)

Bibliotherapy - yes, well, as self-therapy, definitely. I model a lot of my behaviour on books. I also journal, for myself only, which helps.
Thanks for this!

My other is medication. Antidepressant therapy was what enabled me to do any other kind of therapy.

Nothing has worked enough to change my behavior/life style yet so I didn't respond to poll. But Psychdynamic/CBT mixed has helped with my thinking and feelings inside... but I don't think anyone in RL would say my behavior has changed

A little EMDR, a little CBT, and mostly talk therapy, these have drastically helped me.

Edit: Also, I feel like I should add this caveat. A big thing that has helped me is me. I chose to follow my T's advice, do the homework, do the readings, apply what I learned, eat better, exercise more, make big life changes (where I worked and who I lived with). Sitting across from someone, no matter how fantastic that T is, can't take you far at all unless you choose to make changes and do the work.

Much as I hate to admit it, and it's not a form of therapy, but medication made a huge difference for me. After that, it's all been psychodynamic. But, my anxiety was so severe, that I don't think I would have made the progress I have if my T hadn't convinced me to meet with a pdoc and try meds in addition to therapy.

I couldn't answer the poll. I've been working long and very hard but I don't feel any drastic changes in my behavior or life style. I'm in psychodynamic therapy.

Modern psychoanalysis (not 4-5 times a week therapy as is generally thought of when talking about classical psychoanalysis)

Body psychotherapy which is similar to a couple you listed but not quite the same. Think its working but then you've caught me on a good day!

I have had a bunch of kinds help me. CBT definitely helped the most, but closely followed by art, drama, group, and music. Last would be DBT, only because I have not had much experience doing it with a therapist who was actually good at it.

It is totally woo woo energy work. For me, I lie on a table and the therapist (who is part of a chiropractic group and is also a chiropractor) does light touch or just puts her hands close to my body and she asks what I see and feel. There is not a lot of talking. But it helped me with anxiety so bad that I was literally shaking even though there was no reason for it and most recently it helped me get back on the motorcycle after my wreck. I was having some ptsd symptoms and the psychodynamic stuff was not helping even after a couple of months- the CS helped and after two appointments, I am back riding again. I have a couple of friends who see the same practitioner I do and their description of release of pent up emotion from CS is more dramatic than mine.

'Other' is working for me - it's CBT based but only started working after I persuaded my T to drop all the stupid work-sheets, and we moved into much broader psychotherapy. For me, a perfectionist who couldn't accept or even be aware of most of my emotions, stemming from childhood, CBT alone was not deep enough, and just felt like more criticism for not being able to control my thoughts and emotions. Turns out that trying so hard to control my thoughts and emotions was/is causing a large part of my difficulties.

I'm lucky I have a therapist who's willing to try different approaches.
Thanks for this!

My therapy is mostly talking, psychodynamic therapy. I also did a lot of writing for a while and still do some. For a time my T did EMDR with me as well.
EMDR did help with some of my extreme panic and flashbacks. We didn't do very much EMDR because I don't think that I was a great candidate for it. For me I don't know if it worked the way it was "supposed" to work, with all the technical stuff. It seemed to me that the method and eye movement was mostly helpful as a way to get out of my own way essentially. It seemed that by following T's finger I was distracted enough that I could let some of my walls drop and get out of my head a bit and just allow what I had to deal with come up. Without the EMDR I was a frozen, panicked mess and could barely speak about anything at all. The interesting thing is that after doing the EMDR a number of times and having T help ground me and deal with the issues I brought up, I was able to engage in "talk therapy" much more effectively and we haven't even discussed EMDR in years. So, I feel that this method really helped me tremendously, but more as a way of occupying part of my attention in order to allow me to connect with T and get past some of my defenses.
Thanks for this!

I chose OTHER (please enlighten me).

The correct diagnosis helped me more than anything else.

I was misdiagnosed with a personality disorder. After that, therapy was useless, because it was influenced by that very wrong diagnosis. My problems were explained based on it. The problem with that was, I did not have those apparent problems. Everything was assumed and not even verified. Therapy ended up being traumatic and a waste of time. Eventually, I left out of hurt and frustration.

Sixteen years, later I was properly diagnosed. After that, I decided to return to therapy. The right diagnosis permitted me to bond and form a therapeutic alliance with my psychiatrist. Now, I am actually responding. Others have noticed it, too.
Thanks for this!

I actually was hoping for some Pranic peeps! It's something I really want to try, but really nervous about it.

The one thing that really helped me was CBT. Years of psychodynamic talk therapy did nothing, a few weeks of CBT changed my whole outlook on life.

adult children of alcoholics (aca) which is based on family systems therapy
journaling
prayer
making art but haven't done art therapy
lots of reading on my own
inner healing which is like IFS

i like more right-brained approaches as my left-brain is in overdrive. also, i'm not so much looking for behavioral change as my problems are more mood-oriented (depression). aca, (it's not just for people from alcoholic homes & i'm not from one), and prayer are where i've seen drastic changes but the others have all helped as well.
