Heh, Lola...I thought of the same thing you did when SD said fatties. I never smoked the stuff, but I had friends who did in college, so I was familiar with all the terms.

Well...off to decide what to make for supper, dinner, grub, whatever you like to call it. Had one parent who called it supper growing up and another who called it dinner...so I now use them interchangably depending which one "pops" out of my mouth first.

Be back after I chow down.

On another note...this day went quick. I don't feel like working either tomorrow. But I barely worked last week.

The fatties I smoked are delicious.
Smoky, spicy and stuffed with cheese and vegetables.
Would be quite the hit after smoking one of Lola's type.

HT- My hours vary between 20-40 a week..most of the time I land at 30-35. However I get paid a salary instead of hourly so I guess at the end of day it does not matter cause I get paid the same amount either way.

Was lazy for dinner. Did not feel like "cooking" for real, so I made a box of mac and cheese. New flavor: 3 cheese jalapeno. It was decent. Not bad for processed/powdered cheese.

I'm sure I will be hungry again before I go to bed...but oh well...it's been a "lazy" day, and I haven't had much motivation to do anything. So I am just squeaking by with what I do.

I am sad that today is almost over... I didn't get nearly enough done...

hair cut - check
new phones - check
birthday party planned - ughh not yet...and I am so dreading it.. YT is right... the social anxiety is getting worse... I just have planned to take 5 of my son's friends to a place that has video games, foam frenzy, lazer tag and go cart racing... and food but even that seems like too much to get together... I so wish my H would help me out with this stuff...

think ill be writing in my journal also. it has been a bit sense I have seen my t and I don't see her until Tuesday. not that that even seems like a good idea either. I know a lot of people think I had a good session last time but I don't seem to see it that way at all. I am trying but I don't. it seems like my T just didn't believe a word I said. and I am devastated by that. I just want someone to hear me . this is why I don't bother to talk about my past .WHY? no one believes me. I have burns and scars from cutting all over my body .she has seen them .why is it such a leap to believe that I would burn my finger tips. I don't understand that. why would I lie about any of this. im older and have no need to lie about any of this stuff. I was stupid to start that time line and stupid to tell her the thoughts I was having .

Granite... I know its hard because I'm having a real hard time since talking about the past... I don't think my xT believes me and even though I sort of backhandedly asked for reassurance I didn't get it... so don't feel really bad about the doubtling and the thinking that it was a mistake and stupid, etc... but I think its that part of us that tells us its not safe to tell that is filling our heads with those thoughts... so we will clamp back up and stop... I think of it as a little war in my head between the sweet little one who is hurting and wants to tell... and the bad *** little one who says you don't need nuttin from nobody...

personally I've just decided to take a little break today from listening to either one of them.

Did she say she didn't believe you Granite or is it something she said that made you think she doesn't believe you? Also a juice dinner is way easy to make

Well...I am regretting not doing laundry today. The washroom closes at 8, so I could really only get one load done if I started now. Maybe that would make me regret a little less though.

Hmmmm... I think I will do a load of whites.

she asked me if there was ever a time that I had burned my finger tips and after a silence I told her when I was younger I use to burn my finger tips ,silence ,she asked how and I said on a radiator .she strongly in boot camp T style said that radiators don't burn fingers, I said they do if they have hot water running through them. AND THEY DO. she again sternly asked how else and I said on the stove top. she then said did you do that or some one else .I said some one else and stopped the conversation .i didn't want to argue with her anymore I was devastated.

im so tired of people not believing me. I use to burn my fingers on the radiators in church also. I also remember when they blistered or I peeled them and the mother saw it she would dump salt on them and put band aids on them to teach me not to do that . it didn't work

Granite... did you tell T the story that you shared with us about how you used to have to sit in the chair in the dining room for hours and used to do that....

did you tell T about the mother popping the blisters and putting salt on them?

I hope you will be able to talk to your T about her comment and how it made you feel she doesn't believe you and you want to know if she doesn't believe you.

ETA: I believe you Granite.

Granite, I remember you talking about that. I HATE that she didn't believe you. I know it took huge courage for you to talk about that. I am sorry that happened.

I "kinda" made it to the wedding.

I got my daughter to her father's house, but unfortunately on the way to the wedding I was stuck in detoured traffic off of the major highway (who the heck does construction on I-95 on a Saturday afternoon? Grrr.) and ended up missing the ceremony. By the time I pulled in (20 minutes late), everyone was leaving the building.

BUT, I did attend the reception and had a really good time. Lots of dancing and some chatting. Amazing enough with a migraine brewing, neck pain and awful sciatica pain, I was able to get down on the dance floor here and there. LOL.

There were moments when I just didn't feel up to socializing, but I pushed through it.

They had a photo booth there with a bunch of props. Did some funny pics with it - one set by myself and one set with my uncle. That was fun!

My daughter survived her day at her dad's. They stayed home, had pizza and watched sports and news shows the whole time. Not my daughter's favorite, but she didn't complain. Such a good kid. She looks terribly pale and is awfully congested. Got home about a half hour ago, and she is fast asleep now.

All in all, a good day.
You're welcome. Sounds like you still had fun, despite a few difficulties. I hope your daughter is feeling better after a day of rest.
