Healed,

I don't think you have anything to apologize for...you were making an observation based on your feelings! I thought it was very interesting and got me to thinking. Believing people (at least IRL) means you are trusting them...and trusting them means you are trusting them not to hurt you (hopefully). That's a very hard thing to do sometimes. I am not so great at it myself IRL, it takes a long time and I am very cautious.

In other news: we talk a lot around here about ts and texting/emailing/fb..

Well, I took a glorious nap this afternoon, I woke up, looked at my phone and saw something that shot me out of bed quickly. Said my T's name sent me a message on FB. I was like, what the heck... I thought, oh I wonder if it was a mistake or something. So, I open up the message and it was a link to an article. It was an article on something that has been a big subject in my therapy and very applicable to my current situation, so I know it wasn't a mistake.. Then I was like... Why, would T send this to me in a fb message? and not email? interesting... We have talked about him not being friends with his clients on fb, but we have also talked about him looking at my fb page before, b/c I had liked an article that he had posted on his Office's page and was curious. Not sure what I think about it all. Though, the article was good and glad he sent it to me to read!!

Found this article about internet trolls thanks to Stephen Fry, who tweeted it.
Internet Trolls Are Narcissists, Psychopaths, and Sadists | Psychology Today

"So next time you encounter a troll online, remember a few things. (1) These trolls are some truly messed up people and (2) it is your suffering that brings them pleasure, so the best thing you can do is ignore them. " I'm not keen on a psych article referring to people as "truly messed up"

Just discovered the author is a computer scientist, but still....
Here is her follow up article
http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/...internet-troll

Here's one about bipolar disorder and poor online social interaction

Heading out to a local park for a labyrinth walk to commemorate Autumn Equinox with my drumming friends... after my major freak out last night/this morning about my book, I can really use the calming effect of walking the labyrinth!!

CE when I feel crappy I've learned to check my blood sugar # first. It is often too high or too low, but it can seem emotional when it is really physical. Take care!

I posted a personal ad for some female friends. Surprisingly, got three replies. Stopped after the first exchange of emails. It's so lovely to anticipate making friends, so hard to deal with the reality of hit and miss first meetings. Where's the Tardis when I need it... just want 5 minutes to jump ahead a year and see how this life of mine works out.

Edit: Just made myself reply to all three of them. One lives too far away, one's borderline, one's close, so.... (crosses fingers)

My insomnia, plus anxiety are getting the worse of me lately.. I really need to be sleeping right now! Ugh.

It doesn't help that I got a call from my MIL saying she is afraid that BIL is maybe lapsing into a manic episode.. which, in his history because of drug use and not taking his meds leads into psychosis pretty quickly. Really hoping that isn't the case, as he hasn't been out of the hospital for more than two weeks at this point!

Both Psych Today and PC publish a lot of stupid tripe in their "professional" blogs section. Anything that is about relationships is super stereotyped and usually heteronormative, for instance. I have stopped reading the blogs because I always get worked up over how narrow minded most of the writers seem to be.
Thanks for this!
