We had a lazy day today. I've been watching The Office reruns on Netflix - that show cracks me up. Unfortunately, my husband's family reunion is tomorrow. I think Christmastime is poor timing on my Mother-in-Law's part. We typically have the reunion in August.

Season 5 of the office is my favorite!

I've always thought the US "Office" was one of the few British-inspired shows here that was better than the British original. That and maybe "Whose Line Is It Anyway."

Eating chocolate. Or chocolate type items. Ghirardelli made a special edition bag with peppermint bark, eggnog, and pumpkin spice caramel. The first two are delicious. The third is okay - thankfully the pumpkin spice isn't overwhelming. I will pawn those off on my unsuspecting youngsters who will be tickled that Mommy is parting with any of her chocolate.

They will think it's delicious and I will be free to eat the other two without comment.

I'm truly a dastardly villain.

Oh! I'm so sorry. I was worried about a stomach bug yesterday but turned out I just ate something disagreeable.

I've been hearing about a new strain of norovirus going around. :-/ Don't know if it's made its way to your state yet.

They are worried about gastroenteritis(stomach flu). However not a virus because I've had symptoms too long the virus would've been over by now. So I go back with a delivery and see a doc to know if they found anything.

Tornadoes touched down in Dallas area. Several confirmed dead. We are just getting rain on ou end of the metroplex, but have already heard church member of my heart transplant friend's church lost his home. Cars tossed from an overpass killing at least 4. Nasty weather.

We have had downpours and thunderstorms all day. A lot of flash flooding and the rivers are at flood level.

We had heavy rain last night with flash flood warnings. Ridiculously warm weather, too. No White Christmas for us!

sitting here watching the kitten ping-pong around the room, she is such a bundle of energy in that little bitty body. she is a lesson to me about living fully in the present and putting your all into everything you do. i should pay attention to her.

I fear I am going to be spamming the couch tonight waiting for my son to get home. So the other night I had a dream I need to spend some time working with. In the dream, I'm lost somewhere - I have no money, no credit cards, no cell phone, no car... I'm alone, walking, and lost. My Dad shows up, and says he can't stay because my Mom needs help getting firewood in because she doesn't have enough for the winter. So he hands me a map, and then he is gone.

I'd spend some time with it tonight, doing an Active Imagination, but I'd probably fall asleep as soon as I start. That has happened in the past and I feel slightly off balance when I wake up. But when I do work on it, tomorrow morning, I plan to try to get a good look at the map and maybe even draw it. I really love doing dream work but I haven't done much of it lately.

Oh this is interesting. H just found a show about Rockefeller and Standard Oil. He always finds interesting shows. These guys were ruthless, man. Crazy.

It's pouring out by me! If this were snow, it would be a big storm! This is such a strange winter! I'm not complaining but it's just weird!!!

I just took a 4 hr. nap and It's midnight. I hope I can go back to sleep. Have bad allergy symptoms though I took my pill. Think it's the weather.

I hope my T and her boyfriend made it to their destination today. It hurts to think about them.
