That's not good, to be getting much less sleep, is it? I'm not sleeping well lately and I'm not sure why.

That's the same problem I have. What if you took extra haldol at night, would it help you sleep? The pdoc gave me more trazodone but it doesn't really work for me. Tizanidine puts me to sleep but then I wake up two hours later.

It's so cool seeing the sky go from dark to light. The earth is rotating, but it's unfair we can't feel it like a carnival ride.

i bet it would. but then probably make me more tired in the daytime.my therapist said taking 10mg at night probably has problems metabolizing which why it makes me so tired in the morning but idk.

Have you been drinking coffee later than 2 pm? I remember reading that taking caffeine later than maybe 1 or 2 pm Can interfere with sleep. I hardly ever drink coffee that late, but I do usually have Coke or tea throughout the day. I'm not sure if it affects my sleep. Yesterday I only had one cup of coffee early and no caffeine after that. I did fall asleep without too much trouble but then I woke up 3 hours later.

I have been getting phobic about sleep lately too. For some reason it just gives me the creeps to be asleep.

Morning all!

Feel a bit, well... I don't know today. Just a bit off somehow. It might be being alone again having come back to my flat, it might be the grey weather... I'm just not sure, can't put a finger on it. I don't really feel like doing anything either... perhaps things will pick up later on today though...

Maybe the lack of much sunlight. Did you set your clocks back recently? I hope your mood improves!

Caffeine can definitely affect sleep & I believe as you get older you general get more sensitive to things like that.

Personally, I used to drink like 3-5 cups of caffeinated tea a day without any issues, I could even drink a cup of coffee before bed & sleep like a baby when I was younger. Gradually I stopped drinking caffeine after around 5pm because it was affecting my sleep. Then suddenly I started getting wired from it... I think it probably has to do with my anxiety disorder.

Some of the reasons people might be sensitive to caffeine are in this article:

7 Reasons You're So Sensitive To Caffeine

Yes, I have gotten more sensitive to it too. I used to drink 2 or 3 strong cups of coffee before going to work (at night, overnight hours) and still be exhausted and need to go back to sleep. Now though that much caffeine would have me very wired and anxious.

Thanks. I'm sure it will, it's just some funk or another...

Yes, the clocks went back a week and a half ago. I was considering starting to supplement with some vitamin D again now it's getting closer to winter.

That couldn't hurt. Maybe you could try one of those special lamps that simulate sunlight too. If I had anywhere to put one, I would. But my place is a disaster zone.

Yeah, I have wondered in the past whether I might have some tendency to SAD but overall I am usually in a pretty good mood in the winter so it doesn't really fit. I did notice a tendency for my mood to be worse when it was cloudy though when my anxiety was an issue... I do think those lights are quite expensive though, so it's probably not worth it unless you obviously suffer from SAD.

I think it some respects, what gets me down more than anything weather-wise is when it isn't what it should be. i.e cool, cloudy summers or mild winters without snow...

I do tend to think things should be a certain way & when they aren't it pisses me off. Interestingly, my CPN did say I might have mild AS... so that could explain that sort of thinking. I consistently get scores that indicate I have AS on the quizzes, like more than border line...

I think it's hard to judge though as there is some overlap between AS & sz symptoms, so some of it during that time might have be to do with my psychosis... although there are certain features I've had as long as I can remember.

Who knows really...

Yes, I scored high on an Aspergers quiz too. I'm not sure what to make of that because I was never given that diagnosis.

I like warmer winter days a lot, and cooler summer days. But I grew up with extreme and weird weather so that might be why. I love those first days in February or March when the wind is chilly but it's just warm enough to smell spring in the air. Speaking of smelling, I haven't gotten my sense of smell back even though I'm no longer smoking. I hope I will.

That's not good for your sleep, according to a few articles I've read. I'm not sure why my sleep is messed up again.

My stupid coils for my ecig aren't any good. They only last about a day. Then I'm stuck vaping with a nearly dead coil for the rest of the week. I need a better run of coils. Have to order more today.

I always drink 2 cups of coffee in the morning, that's enough to get me going. Occasionally I'll have an afternoon/evening cup too

Me too. Sometimes I have things to do later in the day and me doing things works far better when I'm awake! Amazing lol. But yeah if I drink it too late it can mess with my sleep.

Good morning everyone by the way. I actually slept until 7:00 this morning instead of my usual waking up during the small hours thing ha ha ha.

I hope you all are having a good day.

I want to be excited lol. I don't feel excitement that often but I do like buying people Christmas gifts because I read people pretty well and they always are like, "how did you know I'd love this?" Hehehe it makes me smile.

I've had this stupid cold for two weeks now. Still coughing but that's really my only major symptom. It just won't **** off already. Colds and stuff don't seem to acknowledge that I have a life and **** lol.
