Other than hell, I hope everyone who's up is having a nice morning.

i want to lower my meds to regain some energy, concentration, lose weight and get my personality back. im scared to do so as i still hear voices daily

Lowering meds sounds like a good idea... as long as you do it with the supervision of your p-doc.

How much insight do you have into your voices? Do you know they aren't real or do you have trouble telling sometimes?

My psychosis is fairly mild overall & I'm off meds but I still hear voices everyday. I do know they aren't real, although sometimes they can still get annoying or I might believe some of the things they say. I guess I've just got used to them having heard them pretty much every day for 2 years now.

I guess it just depends how you feel. It's mostly about how well you can cope. Unfortunately you won't know with trying a lower dose of meds.

I'm a big advocate of being on the lowest dose of meds that works, even if it doesn't completely control symptoms. For me it's more important to get my overall functioning at it's best. So, worth a shot I reckon. I think the only advice I can give is to drop down by only a small amount & if you are on multiple meds, only change the dosage of 1 at a time.

right now im on vacation and away from my doctor so i wont be trying something on my own. my doctor is a very nice and introspective person so i think shell know what to do. i trust her completely.

my voices usually come around at evening. ive named some, they are the standard wherever i am and i can tell theyre voices altho they bother me with negative comments etc. the ones which are harder to tell come from actual people. i go to the mall and think everybody is talking about me, so i rather stay alone than mix with crowds.

i take 17 pills daily and i think theyre clouding my mind. im also on two doses of depot. i want to go to university but i hope i can handle it, the crowd in a classroom and the concentration to study.

i miss some parts of psychosis which were so tangled with my personality that i now feel like a part of me is missing. mostly my quest for a greater meaning, my philosophical ideas and being tied with karma.

i only function partly, most of the time im tired or asleep. i gained a lot of weight and i see foggy. i also did a lot of drugs so some of this may be drug related

p.s. before taking meds i could not tell i had voices. i thought it was really all happening

Lol I've given that some serious thought! I've vaped before and I loved it, my e cig just unfortunately broke(it sucked because that cost me a lot of money ha ha).

I haven't changed my coil since I bought my vape. Still works so..

Really, iPhones are great for a lot of people. What I did like about iPhones was that the iOS is so easy to navigate. iPhones were my smartphone of choice for the better part of four years.

Having just recently switched to vaping I've got to say it's the way to go...

I feel 100x better vaping, although my asthma may have something to do with that but also my circulation etc. It's also actually enjoyable whilst smoking is just disgusting. I couldn't imagine smoking a cigarette again.

I think I only need to spend around £20 on vaping supplies each month, as opposed to £130 on cigarettes... (that was only a 10 a day habit...)

I changed my first one after 2 and a half weeks... that's with fairly light vaping.

Exactly, I hate smoking these days. I don't enjoy it, like seriously it's gross.

Haha! Have you bought any more new flavors of Ejuice? I'm so glad it's working out for you.

Yes.

I got Cosmic Fog Euphoria ("a tasty mix of your favourite fruity cereal, pumped up with orange, lemon and red berry flavour") ... I found it very nice but I think it really needs a pretty full battery to get the most out of the flavour. Sometimes the fruitiness doesn't come through enough. I guess a more powerful setup would fare better.

Cosmic Fog Milk & Honey, which I've yet to try. ("combines sweet milk and puffy marshmallows, then tops it off with notes of rich honey")

Oh, nice! I vaped a bottle of Cosmic Fog Church last summer I think. It's a pleasant chocolate sundae flavor. I can actually taste the vanilla ice cream in that one.
