Tonight we order dinner in to support local restaurants. I'm trying to decide what I want to eat....

Yikes. Probably shouldn't have been so **** impulsive in dropping grad school again. Now I have to pick up the pieces again. 'Cept they won't let me back this time. I am so angry with myself. I convinced myself that I wasn't passionate about it. And look where that got me. Depressed again. Not looking for pity here, nor do I really pity myself. Just needed to express that.

Alas, no good seafood restaurants around here. Vietnamese Food, Chinese Food, American Food, and Mexican Food, oh and an expensive Italian Food Restaurant but I don't think they are on door dash. We had our work Christmas party there. #overrated.

What did you do to get them to let you back in before? Most Uni's want your money so I think they will work with you to get you back in.

Honestly with grad school if you’re not 100% in it gets worse.....it has to be like eat sleep and breathe grad school. Find something you do love.....

Thanks. Yeah I think I am not 100% in it. There are things I like more than what I was studying. Anyway. I just don't know what to do with my time now, that's the only thing...

Can you go to grad school part time? I did that. I went part time while I worked full time. That seemed to work for me. There were only a few semesters that I went full time for. But it made it more manageable for me.

Couple of options....start working on the other things, find full time work or even get some sort of practical training like in IT that will allow you to pay the bills while you pursue other Interests....

Also I recommend reading....always good.

I usually suggest volunteering but I don't know right now with COVID if there are a lot of places that you can volunteer at. Maybe food pantries. Just make sure you have PPE!

Volunteering helps you and helps others!

I could with a different program, most likely. But I'm not invested in this program really. The program is also located in a different country so I was getting more and more isolated from the group. I suppose that it would be wiser to pursue a program that is actually located in the geographical location where I am. For clarification, I was abroad attending this program before, but had to return to the USA due to COVID-19.

A friend of mine was going to med school in the Caribbean and a hurricane destroyed the island....she had to move to the UK and then New York during peak covid to finish....if it’s your dream circumstances don’t make a difference.....you do it anyway....I think you need to find your dream. My recommendation is a book called designing your life.....it’s taught by a couple of Stanford profs who use elements of design to design your optimal career.

Thanks! Yeah you're right. I would have finished it if I actually loved the program. I will check out that book.

This computer course I’m taking seems exhausting already because of all these steps you have to take for each unit. The first unit was so dull I’m procrastinating on it. It’s not a hard course, it’s introductory but it’s required and it’s not that great. I’m interested in the material just the set up is kind of bleh.

At least I get to make PowerPoint presentations for my assignments, and it’s only six units.

I wanna get to the good stuff already.

I’m going to try my hardest to get the first two units done this weekend. Going to try to breeze through this course so it’s done.

It’s kind of awesome that when I finish these two courses I’m working on right now I’ll already be 1/3 of the way done my degree.

Loving all this college talk.

It took me 10 years (really the last 5 because I was sick first 5 of my college age years) to realize what I need to do in school, and want to do.

I’ve been back and forth a million freaking times to 1. Appease my parents 2. Appease society and what other people think, and 3. Discredit myself.

Here’s the thing: SP makes a good point. With anything, if it’s something you love/dream about it, oh it’ll work itself out in the end as far as getting it done! For sure!
I’ve been through a million majors and schools to only come back to my dream major: a philosophy degree. In which nearly everyone is saying “don’t do that degree. There’s no jobs for it”. Well I had to plan out a loose sense of what I need to do with the degree in order to counteract what people thought. I have a couple of plans. Both of which I think are easy to obtain in regards to doing what I dream of. One being formulating the degree to learn what I need to learn in order to become what I want, a writer.

I been telling people I “believe” but, deep down I KNOW philosophy will help me write better in so many ways imaginable. Man... and my writing is philosophy based and infused. That’s my dream major. Deep down if i don’t go after that I will be so darn upset. I can see myself on my deathbed having the regret of not doing my dream major. Weird I know for such a degree that is considered useless.

Another thought was double majoring. Now I absolutely love school so this is no issue for me as far as doing classes.

Lamotrigine is definitely what I need..... I'm not gonna take any shroom microdose/weed/ket - I'll just have it in a collection - Cuz they're very BAD ideas..

Also Naloxone and Naltrexone work for dp/dr because they're opioid antagonists..

Honestly, last night I felt great from exercise... It must have released a lot of natural endorphins.. I felt like I was on a moderate-high dose of an opioid before I went to sleep.. I think I naturally have a lot of endorphins. I know that my genetics make me much harder to get addicted to opioids (They make me zoned out and depressed).

The panic attacks over the past 2 weeks could have been from taking codeine.. Very likely...

It's hard for me to accept.. That I need meds... And not psychedelics.. lol.. Sigh..

I'm down to 250mg of phenibut and haven't taken any benzo in 3 days.. I'm fine right now..
It is not endorphins, it is a BDNF cascade...
