In order to get the TAP grant on top of my base financial aid, which I need in order to fully cover my tuition I'd need to take at least 2 classes. I don't know if I can handle two, I'm not sure what to do now. I can't afford the $1,000+ my financial aid doesn't cover out of pocket

I'd have to take a math or history class in addition to the English class. Math and history are my worst subjects.

Well I emailed my advisor and asked if I can add one of the required history courses. So I guess I'll be taking 2 classes this semester. It's gonna be hard but I'm going to try my best

I ordered these two books when I took my niece to Barnes and Noble on Saturday: What a Life Can Be: One Therapist's Take on Schizo-Affective Disorder.
and Finding the Point of Equilibrium: Schizo-Affective Disorder and Wellbeing, Living the Paradox!
I hope they are helpful!

I am dreading going home from work today because my niece and nephew will be there. I love them, but they are just constantly there and I need to have some by myself time. They are staying with us for another week. I about wore myself out this weekend with the kiddos. It's not even like they are a lot of work. They do watch a lot of annoying TV though. But with the voices, and work, and volunteering, and psychosis and SH urges I'm just like......I need escape.

I texted my T though. I don't know if she will be helpful but you never know.

I'm really tired too. Just like exhausted. It's been really hot here. So that's not helping. I was doing errands with my niece on Saturday, in the middle of the day. She needed sandals and what not. It about killed me, it was so hot.

My mom went and picked up my sister from work and then a went to Dairy Queen while they waited for me. I wanted a root beer float but they didn’t do floats at that location so they got me a strawberry milkshake.

I love strawberry milkshakes but I really wanted a root beer float. I feel stupid though I felt like crying because I just wanted a root beer float.

I drank the milkshake though but super bummed.

I’m just so emotional lately at the wrong times.

I can't relax at all. It's a mess. When I was talking to my dad, I keep forgetting what I'm talking about - I forget the question. I end up not even knowing what I'm saying. I told my mom and she says that I should maybe stop the pregabalin.. But I'll keep taking it for now..

My whole perception of reality is incomplete strings that lead to no where - No connection to anything.

But I've been like this since I was a kid - I'm verbally challenged.

I need to stop being so hard on myself. But the stress of the heart OCD is back again and it's killing me. I can't think about anything else. I think I might die soon.

Stress is your body’s response to any demand. Many things can trigger stress and can be positive or negative. In a dangerous situation, stress will trigger your fight-or-flight response and cause the following symptoms:
• increased heart rate
• faster breathing
• tensed muscles

Your body is only meant to handle stress in small bursts. Chronic stress can lead to serious problems, lowering your immune system and interfering with the proper functioning of your body’s systems. A lowered immune system means you are more prone to colds and infections. Over time, constant strain can also lead to:
• heart disease
• high blood pressure
• diabetes
• depression
• anxiety

I let the property manager know I’ll be taking classes part time and asked if she needs any paperwork for proof (because you can only go part-time while living in supportive housing, not full time), she said a schedule will be fine so I’ll get that for her next week.

It's okay, cogladaid. I'm sure we have all been in similar situations. That may not make it easier, but you are not alone. Sending you gentle hugs if wanted, Kit
