You need a good narrator or it’s not worth it…ideally it’s read by the author or an actor.

Nervous about volunteering on Wednesday. Hoping it goes well. I mean I don't think they're going to be like "you suck, get out of here, we don't want/need you here" even though I worry about that and other stupid things

Mustachio has been taking a nap with me everyday for the past several days, she gets under the blankets with me, purrs, then we both fall asleep, and when I wake up she's still there

Is it better to cut out sugar all at once or cut back on sugary foods/drinks a little slower, like cut back portions slowly over time. I feel like the past two days I've been doing better. Like yesterday I had a frappe and while that's not great it was the only sugary food/drink I had, and today I had 4 teaspoons of powdered creamer in my coffee and that's all I've had that's sugary today. I don't do well when I cut stuff out completely suddenly, because I feel extremely deprived and it backfires and I end up binge eating a lot of the stuff I'm trying to avoid

Basically I'm trying to make small changes slowly over time, and hoping that they add up.

I got on the treadmill for 30 minutes today

I would say it’s best with things like sugar and coffee to cut it out slowly. Like maybe switch to a little bit a day, or alternate days. That way your body won’t feel so deprived and you won’t get like headaches and stuff.

I want to get out of supportive housing and into completely independent housing (Section 8) but Section 8 isn’t accepting applications now

It's weird how some days my anxiety is out of control. And other days it isn't present at all. I'm not doing anything different so why the different outcomes? Strange.

You must eat lots of food. Once the body produces too much insulin, the blood sugars drop.

No idk.. Don't listen to me...

I eat less than I used to....now that I take Olanzapine and Rexulti at night instead of in the daytime. The hunger part isn't so pronounced.

I eat breakfast usually though it's pretty small. A bowl of cereal or something. Then I eat like a snack for lunch. Then I eat dinner.

I got ticket insurance just in case though. And parking was ridiculous. We got aisle seats though. Yeah!

Donated some money to the animal foundation that spayed Mustachio. It was only $8 but at least it’s something, all I can do for now.

Here! Here! Narrators will make or break a book. What the narrators did to Dune was atrocious. Stephen Frye is a great narrator, have you listended to the harry potter series, slumberKitten? The Name of the Wind has a great narrator too!

Oh, I only read on the weekends, I wish I had more time, and lately, I've been having trouble concentrating because of benzos =( I'm even taking fish oil but it's not working. I'm on a new blood pressure medicine given to patients who have night terrors to help me sleep. I don't have night terrors at all, but I think it's helping me sleep anyway. Anything to get of these benzos. If that doesn't work then im going higher on triliptal.

Desoxyn, maybe making it a part of your routine might help. Like, make yourself coffee, make sure you have snacks before you start, and that way you have everythig you need for 5 hours. Make sure to pamper yourself while you read, that way you associate it with good times =)

I recommend The Brothers Karamazov. If you want, you can watch the movie on Prime first, that way when you read it you can comprehend better. But trust me, most of the great stuff was left out of the movie, so you'd still be in for a great treat =)

My sister wanted to know if I wanted to smoke weed sometime (it's legal in my state). I have tried it a few times when I was 18-19 years old and it never had a bad reaction. But I haven't smoked any since then. (I'm 28 now) I kind of want to. But am unsure how it would interact with psych meds
