Steak and steamed veggies for lunch. Protein shake for dinner.

I'm stuck in my weight at 20 pounds lost. I'm going to the gym pretty regularly. I guess I need to go more? I tried to up the weight but its too much. I walk on days I'm not at the gym.

maintaining is a success! in my books.
I believe that once we have been over weight we have fat cells that we constantly have to monitor. we will always have to watch our weights.

Giving my Mum my Credit Card and cash so I can't use the snack machines. Put on too much weight. It's the meds plus snacks. I was also very close to making some significant online purchases so no CC no spending. While I have insight I need to do this.

I fell off for awhile. I just had to take a break. But thankfully I only gained 3.5 pounds. I'm not going to obsess over the scale anymore. I'm just going to try to eat and live. I'm doing low carb again starting today but going to take the day off for my 30th birthday celebration next Saturday. I'm also going to have a piece of some sort of cake on my actual birthday, Tuesday.

I'm going to try to plan and prep my meals better this week but I've got a cold so we will see how that goes. I've gotten away from cooking and I need to get back to it. It was cheaper to cook at home. I'm going to try to cook 3 out of 5 weekdays this week. My birthday not being one of them lol.

Hello all, would like to join this thread albeit late. I'm seeing a nutritionist the second week of April to see if nutrition can help my depression, anxiety and some gastrointestinal issues. I need to get my act together. When my gastric issues are acting up I lose between 25-40 pounds. I can build on that in a healthy way.

Well I didn't do so well this week, kinda just ate what I wanted and had some beers. I logged into my fitness pal though. Will see what Monday's weigh in shows. I also only made it to the gym 2 days. Plan on going 5 days next week. I'm still pretty sore from Thursdays workout, my friend that's showing me the ropes had been working out for over 20 years do I'm getting good training, hope I can sit k with it.

Breakfast: Cheerios with raspberries and almond milk, half slice of ham, hardboiled egg
Lunch: Pulled pork on multigrain bread
Snack: chocolate chip cookie
Dinner: Fried pork chops, roasted Brussels sprouts

Forgot to take blood sugar again. Been having trouble remembering things.

Gave my credit card and cash to my Mum to keep me away from the snack machines but the hospital still provide biscuits(cookies) filled with fat and sugar. Sigh...the seroquel munchies are beating me at the moment. Putting on weight.

Today I tried to get out and go for a swim but I forgot the keys to my flat so went for a short walk as I had no sunscreen. Might try a long walk later. Need to burn off those biscuits. Feeling awful too so motivation may be an issue.

it stopped raining and we went out for breakfast.2017 New diet thread, come join!
3 scrambled eggs with spinach and a side of black bean salsa over the eggs and a side of brocolli. salmon is thawing for dinner tonight. yum!
I just got off my hands and knees from scrubbing my bathroom floor.
The mental anguish/hurdle/logistics was harder to deal with then the actual doing it. It always looks so dirty/hair spray build up(yuck and sticky) when I finally force myself to do it.
Glad that that is over and washed my bathroom mat, and remember yesterday I cleaned off the counter so the bath room is much cleaner. 2017 New diet thread, come join!
In a bit I am going to see the movie "life" with a girl friend. She has her son and family/dog staying with them for 3 weeks, 2 weeks left if I remember correctly, they were living over seas. I think he is in the military.
I think the movie will be good, a friend of mine recommended it.
We may go to whole foods after the movie for a pint.
Jeffs' student has a recital this evening at 7;30, so will go see that.

Went to Outback Steakhouse for lunch, grilled chicken sandwich and side salad and a couple pieces of bread. Husband is grilling chicken for supper and we will have asparagus with it.

Had two protein drinks today in milk and some chicken wings. I'm sure those are terrible for you! They're protein but still, the sauce?! I only ate a few and am giving the rest to my son for dinner. I had a diet pepsi which is not good for you either.

Trying to exercise ad not consume all in sight. So far my sister is still alive but I cannot say the same for the expired jar of mayonnaise. kidding, I just really want some salsa but the only salsa we have is really spicy and I can't take it. Ah well

Snacks: Cheese sticks and cashews

Man, I crave some sugar but can't have any until my blood sugar goes back down. It might also be up because of the intestinal upset but we'll see.
