I was so bummed yesterday being with my FIL so I ate my feelings But today is a new day. Made low carb sugar free mini cheesecakes for Easter along with zucchini gratin as my contribution to Easter dinner. Will stick with ham and veggies. No potatoes or rolls. Haven't had any candy either! I bought stuff for my son that I don't like lol so no temptation. And deviled eggs for miles!!! Made a lot so I can eat them for breakfast this week.

Attempting to stay off the scale until Saturday. I didn't weigh this morning because I'm sure I gained from all the carbs yesterday and it would just bum me out. Better to not know and hopefully come up with a loss this week!

Breakfast: Oatmeal with raisins and milk, and a slice of ham
Lunch: PB&J and a few wings
Dinner: Beefy Spanish Rice

My blood sugar is going like a yoyo. I'll see the doc next week and will ask for more Metformin. It seemed to be more stable with more meds.

I wish I could do yesterday over.
Drank too much at a friends house/pot luck and got really sick. Her friends husband got inappropriate with me....he was trashed too.

Today is a new day. Did stretches in bed, drinking some coffee. Don't have to be at work until 10am so that is good.

I'd love to be a size 0 again, but that's a million miles away. However, I did weigh myself recently and I've lost 2 more pounds. I was stuck for a while. But that makes a total of 20 pounds lost. (Or 21?) Gym tomorrow. Going to try the elliptical again.

Went from a size 14 to a size 8 after getting off Seroquel!!! Took 4 months. Im on Vraylar now, get it free from pharma co., works great for rapid cycling and leaves me a bit hypo which is nice. I don't want to lose any more weight though. I didn't diet I just cut my intake down and never ate desserts but pretty much ate everything else in small portions. I don't like diets, I get burned out on them but I did do a two day bone broth fast for three straight weeks.

I stayed on point with carbs on Easter, only 35g. But way over in calories! I ate so much food!

Going to the endocrinologist tomorrow, assuming I will be weighed but I know it will be higher bc I will have clothes on and will have eaten/drank at that point. So I'm not stressing. I know I will have to get blood work and probably an MRI done. I don't know what else. Just hoping he can treat this prolactin problem.

Had a good workout, 3,000m on the rower (101 cal) and chest/tri (132 cal).

Smoothie and grapefruit for breakfast, 280 cal.
Curry for lunch, 264 cal.
Protein shake after workout, 120 cal.
Dinner was Sriracha Chicken (OMG sooo good!), 300 cal.
Black bean brownie for dessert (sounds weird, but is amazing!), 120 cal.

1084 cal consumed for the day, burned 233. 10,000 steps (in heels no less!)

Endocrinologist confirmed weight gain is most likely due to high prolactin, and now that I've developed insulin resistance it will be even harder to lose the weight. That sucks. But it is what it is. I have to get more blood work done and then he's going to probably up the bromocriptine I'm on and possibly add metformin. Maybe that will help me lose weight. But maybe not. My SIL is on metformin and she hasn't lost any weight.

I'm pretty bummed and going to have to come to terms with the fact that I might never be able to lose a substantial amount of weight and get back to where I was a year and a half ago. But I'm gonna keep trying!

this is only my second post on this thread but my diet plan has changed course so am updating...

I'm trying to lose about 7-10 lbs. I used some online calculators to figure out how much I should be eating to reach my goal. I have never counted calories before, but it's REALLY working. I plan my meals out to every last detail (which is relaxing and weirdly kind of fun), follow it strictly, then eat without counting on Sunday. I thought the counting would ruin my experience of eating, but doing it in advance means I don't have to think about it again, I just follow the plan I made for myself. My mind doesn't get to play tricks on me this way either, like "oh this isn't that much pasta"...

I eat 1600 calories a day and have lost about .5 - 1 lb a week, which is the pace I was expecting. I've spent a lot of time figuring out how many calories are in some of my favorite dinners, so if anyone wants some recipes let me know!

That said, I've really slacked in the exercise department. I just can't seem to be consistent about it! It's so easy - just 25 minutes at home - but I still don't do it. Part of it is that I don't like feeling weak and out of breath, it tends to make me sort of panicky. But the other part is just laziness.

working on it...sorry for the long rambling post

Breakfast: pancakes with berries, poached eggs, and bacon
Lunch: PB&J
Dinner: probably burgers. Depending on who's cooking.

I woke up with a headache, so I figured I didn't eat enough last night. After breakfast the headache went away.

Today's Menu:

Breakfast: 1/4 apple, 1 instant oatmeal w/ raspberries, coffee with cream and sugar (will NEVER give this up!)

Lunch: 2 scrambled eggs with mushrooms and asparagus, kale/spinach/tomato salad, 1 tiny slice of french baguette

Dinner: I made my favorite Ethiopian lentil stew topped with light sour cream, cilantro, and Frank's red hot (which I put on everything, partly because it reminds me of ranch which I love but try not to eat), plus another 2 slices of the baguette

but wait!!!! at around 5 I became weak and succumbed to some bites of ice cream and strawberry galette leftover from easter....I also had a little bit of vodka with sparkling water and lemon just before dinner. not too shabby tho.

Put on 5kg(12 pounds) in the last month due to seroquel and the munchies it causes. Stopped Seroquel today hoping stop gaining and start losing. Also stopped Ritalin so that was suppressing my appetite too. Still IP so exercise is limited but once out hope to get back into regular exercise and better diet so I can lose the weight I've gained.
