I guess I did good shutting the windows and blinds and making all that iced tea because the heat index outside is 94 and I’m cold. I haven’t been outside in five hours and made lunch/dinner with all microwavable food instead of using the stove though. My window faces South too and there’s no chance I can get them to let me have an AC at this point (they don’t let tenants put their own units in and there are only two days you can get them put in by maintenance and I was IP for both days, and you have to pay $50 more a month anyway).

Thank you! I actually paint with a a couple friends I made here on the forum like 10 years ago. They no longer post on the forum but we’ve remained friends for all this time. There’s a big group of us that chat daily and like 3 of us that paint over video chat

I usually paint on water color paper. I use my canvases for acrylic. The water color journal I use also is made of paper for watercolor. I also have a regular pad of watercolor paper though I’ve never tried watercolor on canvas before , I may try it sometime

It’s been 5 weeks since I initially started the Lamictal and 1 week since the other med changes. I feel good , my mood finally seems to have leveled out. For awhile I was feeling a little flat after the med changes. But I feel good now.

I had fun painting with my friend today. Tomorrow I have therapy. Have a lot to talk about.

Getting on the treadmill tonight for 30 min. Not much going on during the weekend. Staying inside mostly cause the temperature is so high out and it’s so humid.

Been a full day so far. I was at the church for about an hour helping the volunteer group I go to meetings for and then had a virtual meeting for my study group. It's only 1:30 pm so I'm not really sure what to do with the rest of my day. I have some laundry to put away, but not much else to do. I'll probably go for a drive to get out for a bit. And, do some type of physical activity.

Maintenance should be here in the next 7 minutes or I’m to call the office back! It’s not that hot in here now but it will be after today!

They’re sending the emergency maintenance team.

My condominium's Annual General Meeting (AGM) is starting soon. I'm not going. I wonder if there will be any mention of the accident. But in my heart i know there won't.

My head hurts. Took a migraine pill. Still hurts. Drinking coffee didn’t help. And even if it did, it’s too late to drink caffeine.

I'm just hanging on tonight. I made a gouda grilled cheese for dinner. I've tried all day to get rid of this rash and its not getting better and I feel a bit sick from it. No fever though but it hurts.

No. I took one dose of an antibiotic the other night and I've been taking these apple cider gummies when I remember. I've been on Lamictal for 12 yeaes.

Google says its most likely a heat rash or chafing.

I've been using walmart brand hydro whatever cream for 3 days and then today I got cortisone stuff

Been doing alright. Since I quit soda I’ve been craving Lipton lemon ice tea which I haven’t had since I was a kid. Looked it up and it’s still a thing. Just made my first glass in my college collector glass. It’s the perfect size for ice tea. Hmm the taste isn’t quite the same. But it’s not bad. But then I looked up the caffeine. I can’t have more than one glass a day! Can’t have any Saturday when I have to go out in the heat.

My daughter and her family are going to SD to say their goodbyes to my son-in-law’s grandmother. She’s on hospice care. So Saturday I’m going over to her house to water the flowers and feed the turtle. It’s going to be 105 with heat index that day. My meds make me heat sensitive and caffeine is a diuretic. So just water that day. Her flowers are all outside, so I’ll try to go early morning. I snagged a parking spot under the tree which will give my car morning shade but it will be in their driveway while I do chores. It won’t take long to heat up.

Today was an ok day. I did go down to play games and socialize. But nothing on tv tonight. Does anyone have suggestions for max or prime video? I started the wheel but gosh it’s gory. I like sci fi, fantasy and mystery. Discovery isn’t on until July and reacher I don’t know when that’s back.

Have you seen the Dune movies? I think at least one of them is available on Max

What about Game of Thrones? It’s pretty violent to though so idk if you’d like that but it’s a good show and book series

Yeap! I’ve seen all those although I saw dune in the theater I could watch that. I googled prime and found an interesting one. Good Omens a story by Terry Pratchett and acting by David Tennant! My favorite Dr Who. It’s fantasy, an angel and a demon have to find the Antichrist to stop the destruction of earth. Pratchett is funny, so this might be good.

I was pleasantly surprised by the GI NP. She was the opposite of my prior experience with her. She was kind, listened, read through my paperwork from my family dr, did a full exam and got me set up to find out what is wrong. I have an esophagram (barium x-ray of swallowing) in a month and endoscopy and colonoscopy in 5 weeks. I'm not looking forward to any of those but they need to be done. She thinks it might be an ulcer which is what my mom, my family dr and I have all thought but if it is one it's not h. pylori.. However I've had an ulcer that wasn't h. plyori before so maybe I'm just susceptible or something. I'll know soon.

The worst part is all the time I have to go without food. The esophogram I have to fast 8 hours (one of which I'll be in the car so ugh) and then I have to do my bowel prep a little differently and will be drinking that all day the day before. So I'm not sure if that day all I get is prep or if I'll be allowed fluids with the prep. My procedure isn't until 10 AM so I'm sure I'll have been fasting some time and 10:00 is pretty late to be starving. I need to sort through all the paperwork for instructions.

Glad that this is all set up even though I do not look forward to it.

My mom is all like "your going to immediate care in the morning. That is an infection." I hope immediate care doesnt send me to the er for iv stuff. Idk why this stuff keeps happening to me. Frequent infections and stuff.

I don't feel too good like I'm achy, so maybe she is righr but theres nothing I can do about it now

Theres also some more stuff going on my GIs nurse said the result of my mri showed something and I didn't quite get what she meant but she explained it like a toilet flushing lol. But my GI doc will get back to me I got the results before them for some reason.

Googling stomach feels like a flushing toilet brings up some pretty funny stuff.

I took a magnesium pill for the migraine and it made my face flushed! I put a frozen rice pack on my head to cool down! It did get rid of the migraine though. The RN I talked with said just drink plenty of water and I’ll unflush. So I did. But I sent this picture to my friend and she said I look miserable!

Has anyone with GI issues tried IBGUARD? It's a peppermint based natural pill that my GI recommended since I can't have normal meds. I had to order it so it won't be here until Tuesday. I'm just curious about people's experiences if they have them.
