I went to the gym on Wednesday and cycled for 30 minutes. Going again tomorrow.

I am trying to incorporate two 15 to 20 minute walks into my schedule. I walk everywhere anyway since I don't have a car and sometimes take a bus but I would like to take some walks just for the purpose of being healthy and not having a destination or place I have to get to. Get moving more and out in the fresh air more

A little bit of yoga today. I was planning on walking around town for awhile but it's rainy and cold. But I am going to walk to my college tomorrow instead of taking the bus.

Feeling lower this past week or two, but not disastrously so.

I haven't done well lately. Other than one day (I think) I've only done the scheduled classes on Monday and Thursday. With only the Thursday one being intense, that's too hard on me to keep going this way. Still struggling to do the home exercise of late.

Today, I got to the class slightly early and was able to squeeze in 15-20 minutes of walking/running then walking/running up and down stairs. So that helps a little.

Welcome Blue_Bird.

Starry and Coco, I hope you're both doing well.
Thanks for this!

Haven't done much exercising, I am going to walk home from my college tonight instead of taking the bus. was going to do that on the way here but ended up not having time to. I'm aiming to go to the gym tomorrow morning. I really really need to go.

This isn't related to weight loss but I am switching to decaf coffee. I am doing everything healthy thing I can to manage anxiety and stress since I am having added responsibilities. I'm taking 1 class during an 8 week semester, which is double the work of a class in half the normal time. Plus I'm volunteering Saturday for the first time in my life. So I'm trying to be proactive and do some preventative stuff to keep stress down. I have an anxiety/panic disorder too so I can't have that acting up now.

Yesterday I was at the gym for about an hour. I used the weights and the bike. And the treadmill. I listened to a podcast while on the treadmill, so I didn't run. But it still felt really good.

Hi Coco, this is formerly starrysky. (((Coco))) You are doing so well!!!

Hello there KnitChic,

Listening to podcast were my favorite thing to do while on the treadmill. I’m so stressed right now. Send good vibes my way. Tuesday of this week my upstairs neighbors washing machine malfunctioned. It caused leaks in my second floor unit. I immediately paged emergency maintenance. I also e-mailed the office. The next day the assistant manage replied back. She said she had never had anything like this happed. That the manager was on vacation until Monday. Then said my damages would be covered by “my renters insurance”. Wrong my damages are going to be covered by the upstairs neighbors renters insurance. This situation was not caused by a natural disaster or act of God. No appliances in my unit malfunctioned so why would I use my policy? I could not sleep last night because I was so stressed.

Oh my gosh, Coco, you have my support and many good vibes. That sounds stressful! So does that mean you are waiting until Monday to have it dealt with? Regardless, I hope it is dealt with. What do you do in times of stress? Do you have any coping skills? I actually do find that exercise helps me usually during something difficult. It literally "calms my hormones" and gets the negative feelings out of me. Hugs

I have made many phone calls and tomorrow I’m going to make a few more. I took a Ativan and a nap earlier. I’m going to taking a hot shower later to help me relax. My daughter made me some tea. Thank you for your support

Oh on top of the crap week I’ve been having. I went to my primary doctor last week. My stomach gets upset all the time. She had me go to the lab. The nurse called me Tuesday and said my doctor recommended based on my labs that I start a gluten free diet. I’ve been doing better eating healthier. I never planned on doing gluten free. I’m so stressed right now. I’m trying to relax and use my coping skills. I had a nice shower.

((((((((Coco)))))))) I really love the idea of gluten free. I am still experimenting with cutting back on sugar. It's an "adventure." Lol. One where I am not always able to stick with. I imagine it might be hard if you are like me and emotionally eat. Like, hey, my coping mechanism is gone!! But it also sounds like you're feeling physically better. Tea sounds really nice. I drink tea myself and I love it. Since it's summer, I have been doing iced tea. But when I bust out the tea kettle, something inside me is like, ok, self soothing time. Somethings seem more right with the world with tea. Even just the process of making it and having a mug of it by my side. PS: Have you tried cold water? For me it works. Putting cold water on my face, or wrists, or neck. Even a cool shower. Just a thought. ((hug))
Thanks for this!

I went to the gym yesterday. It was just ok. I did 20 min. on the treadmill. It was a very short time for me. I was listening to a podcast I couldn't get into. Lol. Today I am going to yoga class.

My goal today is to try and eat more. I was so stressed yesterday. I ate waffles and berries for breakfast. Yesterday I did not eat breakfast so I’m off to a good start. I’m going to take my 12 year old daughter swimming today.

I went to yoga today, it was really nice. It gave me something to get out of bed for, and I looked forward to it. I'm eating cut up watermelon right now. For breakfast I had oatmeal with blueberries and walnuts.

Waffles and berries sound yummy. Enjoy swimming with your daughter!

Me and my daughter rented two movies. We watched one. Then ate dinner and made a cherry cheesecake pie it has to chill in the refrigerator. Now we’re going to start our second movie.
