I do wonder about BMI too and how accurate it is ….

Anyway I got on the scale. Shouldn’t have but I did lose weight so I’m happy about that. Still continuing to eat my lunch and dinner every day.

@Crazy Hitch How does it work with the Wegovy? Do you take it until you reach your final goal weight or is there a point at which the doctor says okay you've lost X amount of your desired weight loss or gotten to such and such a BMI, now you do the rest on your own with diet & exercise? Or do you take it until you reach your final weight loss goal? Just wondering how it works, hopefully, I'm not being insensitive, that's not my intention.

I’m going to take it until I’ve reached my weight loss goal. I want to lose 9.2kg before December when I elope and get married.

My weight is still the same. I haven't really been trying though. I just grazed today.

Yin Yoga today

A unique experience - there was only one woman besides me in class and the teacher did adjustments, backruns and other wonderfully personalized stuff which is impossible when the studio is full of people.

I had a salmon salad for lunch today. I’m really hoping it was honey glaze and not sugar in the salad dressing because I’m trying to stay away from sugar

Oh no! @Discombobulated - that’s awful! What a shock. Get some rest, and I wish you a swift recovery. It’s just awful when something like this happens - don’t let it knock your confidence - hope you’re back up and running soon.

I am so sorry @Discombobulated! I have done a face plant myself and while I have not needed the hospital I needed the dentist because I chipped a tooth. It really is an unsettling experience, and then it does make it hard to continue running/walking on the road or sidewalk for fear it will happen again. I am glad you are okay.

I did pilates this morning. I somehow ended up choosing the same video I did last time and struggled at the same point. It's a balance issue for me. I could do the move if I could just balance correctly but I have trouble with it. The move: you are on your hands & knees, extend the left leg out and the right arm out, pull the leg and arm in, extend both out , then both in, both out, both in for an 8 or ten count then switch sides. I do better but not great on the right leg out, left arm out move but balance is a total issue for me there.

Went to an all-tread Orangetheory class

A new coach. He is very cool and upbeat. He energized the whole studio.

My results:

4 hard-earned orange minutes

38 Green minutes

7 blue minutes

I remember you writing about your fall blueberry I think dental accidents are worst of all and count myself very lucky my teeth were okay. I’ve split my lip and my front tooth felt weird yesterday but apparently we have ligaments holding our teeth (who knew!) and I must’ve jerked/bruised mine.

I’ve got a black eye this morning from my glasses and my nose and mouth are very swollen- I keep saying I look like the phantom of the opera. But the nurse yesterday assured me mouths heal quickly, in the meantime I’m drinking with a straw!

I think my confidence has been knocked, I’ve had falls before (years ago) but this one was worse maybe because I was carrying my water bottle so didn’t have my hands free to break the fall. So I’m anticipating that getting out there again may be a gradual process.

Thanks for all the hugs and support, it means a lot. Hoping everyone is doing okay and not offput exercise by my experience.

I had an early grocery pickup, so I did pilates this morning so I could get cleaned up before getting my groceries. Some of those beginner videos in the beginner loop are pretty hard! But I love the way my body feels after a round of pilates, so wonderful.

@Discombobulated did you break your phone or anything in the fall? That is my worst problem, cracking a cell phone screen in a fall. Now I just walk with a cell phone without a SIM card and a cracked screen as it still can play downloaded music and run MapMyFitness. That way, I don't have to worry about cracking my good cell phone screen if I fall. There are just tons of ways to accidentally hurt yourself in the face! One time I knocked my face up really bad in the checkout line at the PCP. They had taken blood, I was a bit woozy but thought I'd be OK. I fainted in the line and hit my face on a table in the process; my face was so bruised up, I had an eye almost swollen closed; thank goodness it was an appt. when H came with me!

Students have a market day stall today. I've bought 4 MnM cookies for my son to eat after school and I'm going to resist temptation of them sitting on my desk all morning!

I haven't been too hungry today. I've eaten but it was healthy. My weight is still at 221 but I need to get serious about weight loss. I qualify for Wegovy in some ways but not with my GI issues. I've been taking a couple vitamins that have been decent for reducing my appetite.

Phone fine thanks, it was in a waist pack but also I have it in one of those wallet holders so maybe helped.

Ah bless you, that sounds like a traumatic experience fainting. Good job your husband was there!

I’ve got a second black eye this morning but it’s fainter than the first. I put arnica on so hoping it’ll help. I look like I’ve beaten up!

Also a 27 minute walk in the dark around our complex before bedtime.

All in all, 14 k steps today. Not bad.

Yesterday I had 3 eggo protein pancakes for breakfast but after that it was mainly just boxed pasta salad all day. I just finished the pasta salad for breakfast.

I was 221.8 today. Mainly because I slept all day and had a lot of sodium.

My short term goal is to get to 217.

Awesome job, @Tart Cherry Jam! I always break a good 10K on my long power walks but I doubt I do on my pilates day. I can't wear a Fitbit or smartwatch; with my ED it makes me want to get more and more steps each day and just becomes unhealthy for me.

@Discombobulated How is your recovery going?

Anyway, I did pilates this more along with planks and pushups. The pilates videos are nice because they end with stretching at the end, which feels good. The video I did today had a good segment for the arms, meaning you are really, really feeling it by the end of the arm segment.
