Well my planned 7k went out the window when I got a text last night asking me to work this morning. Now I’m really tired and I’ve got a migraine too.

Today I had a couple protein shakes and some Triscuits. I've learned that if you put cold foam coffee creamer on the protein shakes it tastes amazing. I also had an egg and cheese wake up wrap. Don't get the 4th of July star donut for a 2 year old though.

I got a bunch of fruit today. I still need to get water and iced tea.

I've almost reached my 80 gram protein goal. My carbs are at 134.

I walked and jogged this morning. Mostly jogged. I don't know, I was tuned into the music and thinking and a bit dissociated at times (I dissociate a lot have since I was a child), so time went by quickly, and before I knew it 6 miles had gone by, and I'd walked maybe 5 minutes of that. I walked another 0.5 mi to get home.

Who said they ate half servings and lost weight or something.

Like if I ate half of something over 2 meals.

I haven't been able to eat in awhile. I had some watermelon last night around 10:30 but since then I just haven't felt hungry.

I told my doctor about the topamax backfiring on me and causing hunger. He was just like ok....

I love the new scale in my bathroom. It gives me accurate readings. My last one was always 2kg under and I’d have to run across to the other bathroom to weigh myself. Yesterday I got to weigh myself with no clothes on before I got in the shower. Amazing how much winter clothes can make you put on on the scale. I was pleasantly surprised. I’m determined to lose these 4kg this month that my gp insists I should lose on ozempic. I only told my partner this weekend that I’m on it. He’s noticed the decrease in appetite already. His gp offered it to him because he’s diabetic but he said no. He’s lost 25kg through running far and hard 3x a week! He inspires me to get going and lose more.

Me because ozempic slows my appetite and also makes your stomach empty at a slower rate so when I order at a cafe I only eat half a portion these days and keep the other half for the next day

@Crazy Hitch - You mentioned water weight at your last weigh in. That's totally valid and it's quick to both put on or come off. For instance, during my morning outdoor workouts, if I weigh myself before working out and after coming in (and usually after gulping most of a large cup of water), I'll weigh up to 3 lb. less, just like that. And before getting my period, I usually weigh about 5 lb. more due to water retention.

This morning, I did an easy jog though I still wound up jogging around 5 mi. I could have jogged longer, but I had an early grocery store curbside pickup I had to get to. I am quite amazed that I am apparently still able to jog good distances, I guess the power walking I was doing kept me in shape well enough to start jogging decent distances as if I hadn't stopped running for several months at all.

I am traveling and not watching my diet - it is impossible. If my hosts treat me to sweets, I eat them. If I am too hot and thirsty and want cold OJ, I buy it. But still overall I think I am eating less than at home, and definitely less frequently. I would not be surprised to see the number on the scale go down when I get home despite all of the carbohydrate excesses and occasional alcohol consumption.

Tart - the last time i was dating, we went out to eat often, breakfast, lunch, or dinner, depending on work schedules, and often had dessert. I lost weight, much to my surprise, but my thin friend gained! I think my loss was due to being more active and eating regular meals. One time at breakfast, i swear my friend put SO MUCH butter and syrup on their pancakes, i was like, "dude, not even fat people eat like that!" They were not amused. I may even have offended them. I guess i should have apologized but it didnt occur to me at the time. I just thought it was really funny, being a fat person myself.

P.s. i am really enjoying my ozempic!!!

I'm still hanging on at 225 pounds. I'm not crazy hungry like I was before though so idk.

I've had 685 calories, 77 carbs, and 11 grams of protein.

I took an easy 6 mi jog this morning. Got a later start than I planned, but thank goodness it was overcast for most of my jog. My pace is not very fast, but I'm pretty impressed I can still jog a good distance. Power walking & pilates seem to have kept me in shape well enough to jog. (I started realizing I could jog again when it started raining on my walks or pouring/lightning and I wanted home faster. I started realizing I wasn't even winded or sore much from the running!). I love the runner's high but need to do some pilates again to take it easy. Well, I am on the Amazon Vine review program and just requested 3 pairs of socks claiming to be for pilates (with grips on the bottoms), so I'll try them out before writing my review. Planks still haven't gotten any easier!

I was still 225 but I feel ok today. I'm not frantically freaking out about things. My carbs and sodium are good. I could use more protein. I feel good and I'm not nauseated for once too.

I woke up at 9:30 last night craving chocolate but I try not to keep that stuff in the house but I did find some Sunmaid chocolate covered banana chips which did the trick.

Blueberry that’s fantastic news that you’re able to run again! It sounds like your Pilates has helped strengthen your muscles a lot.

Finally a day off and the opportunity to get out for an early long run. I was feeling good and got over 12 miles in, so very close to the distance, it was cooler and rainy so ideal conditions. However it wasn’t a good idea to have fish and chips the night before, it was my husband’s birthday treat out so he chose, unfortunately it sat heavy on me! That last mile I had tired legs and was very wet but all in all it was good and I’m feeling positive about the half marathon in September, it really is just miles in the legs.

So far today I've had 890 calories but only 88 carbs and 46 grams of protein. I had a couple Greek yogurts and a nut roll.

I ate a plain burger and small pickle fries at 9AM. I was mainly just hungry but I didn't want to deprive myself all day and say no then freak out at 4PM. Noom says something like if you want something don't deny it to yourself or else you'll be thinking of it all day and then go crazy later.

I did a jog this morning, 6.5 mi and walked another 0.5 mile home. It was pretty hot once the sun rose. I don't know, I may have to set a super early alarm so that it's still dark when I first start my jogs; I find it so much easier to jog or even power walk before the sun gets too high in the sky.

@Discombobulated - Are you working on running pace for the half marathon or more just completing it without having to walk much or any of it? Just wondering if you were working on speed as well?

@Tart Cherry Jam - Swimming is so good for you and great for not putting too much pressure on the joints. I wish we had a pool. There is one at the park, but IDK, so many parents bring their kids there and I think "oh, my God, I'll bet half these kids are peeing in the water while they're in the pool!" and really just don't want to go in there! Probably ridiculous, but I don'tknow, I know I definitely was guilty of that as a kid in public swimming pools

I think there is a bit of ED stuff floating in there along with the legit GI stuff. Mainly I need to start by just eat smaller portions of things and not chug drinks all day.

Short (30 mins) recovery run this morning, my legs felt tired but okay, I think these recovery runs help although it feels counterintuitive to run the day after a long run.

@Blueberrybook I’m just focusing on getting the miles in, no speed work at all these days (I used to years ago when I was in a running club but I found it stripped the joy for me). Finish lines not finish times is my mantra.
