You're feeling trapped geographically right now, CE?

CE, I've felt like that before, too. I planned where I would move to, and we did, eventually. I don't know if it helps, but I loved looking at house prices, areas etc, even though it was years away.

This core beliefs discussion with its offshoots is interesting. It's good that I have two T free months to try to revert the possible changes that may have already occurred in me.

I'm getting all confused by the two threads, so have now stepped away from core beliefs. I like the eye contact/ body language stuff though.
Woah it's hot here! 20 degrees! (That's proper hot where I come from )

Also, v interesting that we have two core beliefs threads, a mistaken beliefs questionnaire ( v good) and a thread about how we all seem to think our T's find us disgusting.....

I've noticed before that similar thread subjects travel in packs.

It is core belief week on psych forum.

Sometimes people want to look at different apsects of an idea and start threads so as not to hijack threads. I have started threads on the same idea of someone else's thread when on the original thread's starter ignore list.(not this time, but it has happened).

That's all I was doing. Trying to be considerate and not hijack someone else's thread. It seemed like an offshoot that some posters voiced a curiosity about, so I posted some information they might want to look at.

Morning, couch.

New T's receptionist called back when I was still sleeping. She left a message. They did receive the fax. T did in fact read it. T has a letter going out to me in the mail today, so I should be getting it in the next few days. Hmmm... I guess because I wrote her a letter, she feels she should respond in a letter. I wonder what it says. Now I have the agony of waiting till it comes to see her thoughts/read her response. Guess I will wait till it comes then judge wheter or not I think she will work and if I should continue to see her. I guess she feels my issues I wroter about in my letter are benign enough to have it take a few days for a response to get to me. Hmmmm....

I was not so considerate! This morning i piggybacked my personal little list into your thread, hoping to stimulate some more conversation about it. I thought mast raised a good point - it wasnt a rigorous list. But hey the lady missed the first apostrophe in her own company name. It would have been better if she had skipped the second. N' doesnt mean anything. Heart 'N Soul does, kinda.

I guess I was also alluding to the poignant irony that we have great info on core beliefs flying around, and the disgusting thread...core beliefs too, right there, in practise.
Thanks for this!

Honestly, some of your posts should come with a warning. That one was unsafe to read in a bathtub. I couldnt decide if it was dry or dripping! I was sitting at the bus stop, glad i was alone because i knew i had the goofiest look on my face thinking about it. Your use of the language was cloudlike - a nice fluffy cloud! Freakin hilarious. T laughed too and i only quoted you from memory. It was all there. Omg. That was one to put in the sentence box and save to put in your novel later, as whatsername said - Social Studies writer comedian - Fran Liebowitz. Love her.

Eta - yes people used to ask me at work if i was sitting on a feather...

Afternoon, couch.

I am just relaxing before I have to leve for work in a few hours. I work 7:30pm to midnight tonight. Don't know when I will sleep, lol, I have to be back tomorrow at 9am. Maybe I should camp out in the store.

I took a nap this afternoon to try to rememdy little sleep tonight. And I plan to take one tomorrow afternoon when I get off and home. I'm sure I will be fine.

Still a little freaked out waiting for T's letter. I wonder what it says.

On a different subject, I am having an awesome time with my parents and sister. Mama Mia! was fantastic fun. Yesterday we drove down to Padre Island for lunch. Today we browsed antique stores and had pedicures. Tomorrow we are driving over to the town where we grew up to see the changes and have lunch. (Lots of eating invoved. LOL!) Daddy's age is showing, but after all the man will soon turn 85. I hope I'm still in as good shape as he is at that age. We are so fortunate that they are both still in very good shape. Feeling very blessed.

I rode two of my horses bareback around our place tonight. I was feeling better than I have in months. Had this huge revelavation in therapy about why certain things become so upsetting and tried to share it with H and his response was that he already knew that (of course) and he always knew I was "over-reacting." Things are not great between us right this second. Not sure why a half a glass of wine has affected me so much. I think I may have not eaten probably today.

No contacting T, right stopdog? Especially as I am feeling quite sappy toward him right this second.

My horses are crazy awesome though. Horses are the best thing ever, next to dogs. Oh, tell people not to run go buy Belgian malinois after seeing the movie max. Belgians are amazing dogs but quite hard for regular people to live with. Seriously, if you like your furniture and books unchewed, no Belgians. ****ing keyboard kept screwing me up trying to type that. Hahahahahaha. I think there is a conspiracy against me by all computers everywhere. Don't you ever wonder why those people who drunk post on here don't bother to turn on their autocorrect? Seriously, autocorrect is awesome.

Contacting therapists while consuming intoxicants and having clashes with spouses is not usually something I consider a good plan.

And I agree about all of the belgian shepherds. I am partial to the tervuren shepard but I know they are not the breed for my life style and personality. I think they are gorgeous dogs. We had some in the herding club I used to belong too.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
