Nice haiku version.

But in the original it starts with "I cant win in the poisoning game." And you think who is she poisoning? Is she a murderess? It's only at the end that you realize the weeds are the target. That part adds something to it.

Or I'm drinking tonight and it just struck me as poetic.

Well, maybe you should. In 3 lines I went from murder as a game to gothic wind-swept mystery to killing weeds. I'm no poetry critic, but I liked it even if you weren't trying.

I agree, BCM, you should try poetry. Although I think poetry may be the sort if thing that just has to happen and thinking about what to write ruins it.

Also, NP, I love the way your mind works.

I'm back home. The silly car started before the tow truck got there, so I canceled the tow truck, drove it home and had son take me to school on his way to his class at a different campus. H picked me up after class. Car started again after we got back home, so we just dropped it off at the mechanic so they can look at it tomorrow. H will have to take me to work in the morning and pick me up, hopefully the car will be done in time for us to pick it up after I get off work then I can make it to t in time. H and I are enjoying margaritas right now.

My therapist and I have a thing where we share what we are watching on streaming lately. Sometimes I really wonder about the things he tells me that he's watching. I usually take it as a recommendation if you tell me you're watching something. The mini-series he told me about today, Olive Kitteridge on HBO, is so chock full of suicide stuff I wonder why he brought it up. Yeah, it's good so far, but is it really what you should be suggesting I watch right now?

I think that's true what I bolded. My best poems are ones that, immediately after writing them and reading them back to myself, I have no recollection of writing most or all of them. But when I write one in a particular form they always sound so forced. I also love the ones that just seem to fall right out of the sky when I hear something random at work or in the grocery store and it just IS. Example at work recently somebody made a comment about how close our team is even though we are spread out in 4 different states and many of us have never met in real life. And whatever they said, sparked me big time and I wrote a poem about how much I appreciate our team. My boss liked it so much he put it in this month's newsletter! haha

I helped my sons crush pop cans yesterday. Now one of my hands have blisters that popped and are now all raw. And the other hand is so sore I can barely move it. I can't sleep and I'm rambling.

I sent R this email:

Quote:
Lilith: Alright. Maybe, I'll just go... have some breakfast. [she exits to bathroom]

Niles: Are we OK? Frasier: No, we're not... but we will be. Niles: Well, that's enough for now. [waits, and then perkily] We're an odd little family, aren't we?

Will I see you on tuesday?
S
I came back yesterday and just literally collapsed into bed. I've got three days before school starts again. I'm going to get my books sorted for three subjects when I finally get up.

And currently eating mince pies for breakfast has got me all cheerful. I wanted to dye my hair red but there's a three week waiting list at the place I asked. I could go to another place but it looks more fancy (expensive) but I feel like I want to be someone new. Should I still see if I can get it done there or stick with the black mop I already have even though I will be on wards so would need to look semi professional.

Not yet. The mechanic place was closed when we dropped it off last night, they open in 2 hours and he said they'd look at it first thing. (They know us pretty well there, as we take both our cars there for routine maintenance too.) H is taking me to work this morning.

So that means that you also drove all the way to Toronto to visit a coffee shop that has the same name as a dating app?!?

Btw did you pick up my double decaf, non-fat latte, medium foam, dusted with just the faintest whisper of cinnamon coffee?!

I hope you get it sorted out soon. It's nice of H to take you to work. How much longer until you can work from home?

The dancing chilli was in response to the drinks but I forgot to write that bit down. Lol looking back at my posts I've realized that I've missed out a lot of words out too, but it still made sense in my head xD

Stayed home sick. Am indeed sick (chills, sweats, fever, myalgias--there's a bug going around) but not sick enough that I would have called in if I weren't also so effing depressed.

I hate my life.
