So today I got around 18.5k steps total, which is awesome. Definitely lots of walking around at work today.

Going to do a stretching routine before bed.

I've decided to start choosing what workouts I will do daily from the library of 500+ FitnessBlender workouts out there. Their website has a neat calendar system where you can add what workouts you want to do certain days, so I'll do that for a bit. Going to try a mix of workouts I know and enjoy, and ones I haven't done yet but am curious about.

Today I chose a lower body workout with weights that was quite the challenge, and I had to modify the last set because it was too challenging. Definitely a humbling experience but also a good one - I'd like to get stronger! 33 minutes total and broke a major sweat. Aside from that I took it pretty easy today aside from a bit of light walking during some errands.

This morning I did the 26 minute low impact cardio workout that I enjoy. Although I'll admit, it was hard to get through the whole thing due to bad dreams and a not so great sleep. Even after a shower I feel kind of sluggish...hopefully that passes once work begins. I would like nothing more than to go back to bed but I just need to push through these next 9 hours and then I'll be able to relax.

Got around 12.5k steps at work today, less than usual because I had rides to and from work. However, at work today it was a lot of heavy lifting so that was a workout in itself. By the end of my shift though I felt much better than I had in the morning, and even wanted to do my planned workout, so I did!

I chose an upper body routine with weight lifting that I really enjoyed, 34 minutes total. I also did a 10 minute abs floor routine which was a nice add on. Feels good to work out, and it feels like my arms may be sore tomorrow.

I rode 4.5 miles yesterday, and was a soppy mess from it (in a good way). I had today penciled in because I knew I wouldn't make it to the gym or out for a ride. However, I made a few deliveries to the recycling center, so I was loading and unloading a lot of heavy things from my car. I feel like it was a workout...

Today was an unplanned rest day. I must admit I feel discouraged that I didn't do any activity but I have been feeling tired and sad pretty much all day. I'll try to get back at it tomorrow morning.

I know that discouragement. But I also know you are one of the most motivated exercisers on this site, so I doubt a low day is going to keep you down for long. You've certainly been inspiring me.

Speaking of which, I'm about to walk out the door for an evening workout session, which I've been trying to talk myself out of. Hoping you feel better soon.

This morning I did a 27 minute long pilates/stretching routine that I really enjoy. My muscles felt like they needed a good stretch and this workout delivered. Now my body feels better equipped to lift heavy objects at work.

Thanks very much for the encouragement, Bjørnen. It helps to have someone else participate here, the more the merrier!

Today at work I got around 12.5k steps. On the lower side for a work day but I worked in the auto department. It's a smaller area but there was quite a bit of heavy lifting.

After work I did a really awesome 36 minute HIIT/abs/yoga workout from FitnessBlender. It was definitely a challenge and I got a good sweat going, I'll definitely be coming back to this one. It's actually a mash up of a few of their different videos in one workout, and I think it works very well. It's not for beginners but if anyone is interested in trying it I'll post the link. Rated 4/5 on the difficulty scale.

Straightforward half hour on the elliptical. I'm noticing it's taking higher settings to get the heart rate up, which is good to see.

Just finished a 32 minute long stretching/pilates/yoga routine. It was a good stretching routine but not my favourite, although I'm sure I'll do it again in the future. I'll post later how my step count was and whether or not I decide to do an evening workout as well.

Got around 13k steps today, I felt very sluggish at work but I'm just happy I got over the 10k mark honestly.

After work I chilled for a bit, then I did an upper body/cardio routine that was 33 minutes long total. It was a nice mix of lighter cardio and upper body exercises with weights. I am noticing my strength increase. For example, I can now do 2 sets of 10 bicep curls with 15 pound weights. Before I used to use 10 pound weights for it.

Another standard half hour at the gym. One of these days, I'm going to have to introduce a bit more to the day/regimen. But I also know how easy it is to lose my motivation, so for now, I will just appreciate that this has become part of my daily routine again.

Just finished a 26 minute long static stretch routine. It felt quite relaxing, especially after a meditation session.

The inner elbow on my right arm feels sore and I'm hoping it goes away by work tomorrow morning. I need two healthy arms to do my job!

Just finished a 27 minute long stretching/pilates routine that I enjoy, didn't feel up to doing a more intense workout in the morning. I'll post my step count later and whether or not I decide to do an evening workout. Work itself is a workout so I have to keep that in mind.

I did my half hour yesterday. I know I'm not going to be making it to the gym today (for scheduling reasons), so I've set aside time for an extra long walk with the dog this evening. Not ideal, but better than nothing!

On my walk to the bus depot this morning, the top of my foot was hurting more than usual. I was in a very light limp by the time I got there. I did work as usual but tried to stick to one or two aisles because I'd have to walk less. Despite trying my best not to walk much, I still got over 13k steps.

Needless to say, I'm giving my foot a rest tonight. I may do a full rest day tomorrow as well depending on how I feel.

I'm sorry your foot is hurting, do give it a rest with some elevation maybe. Some ibuprofen for inflammation and a cold compress couldn't hurt.

I need some new shoes and wondered what you wear since you walk so much.

My running shoes actually have holes in them, I really should buy some good, supportive shoes soon! Perhaps this Thursday I'll go out and get some, thanks for the advice.

Just finished a workout that had very little impact on my feet. It was a weight lifting + abs workout from Fitnessblender. 32 minutes total including the warm up. I liked the combination of lifting weights and also working the core. Broke a light sweat too.

I may do a stretching routine tonight to help ease muscle soreness before tomorrow.

Ugh. I didn't mean to miss yesterday as well. That's two days in a row without the usual workout. But I'm back at it today. For once, I feel like I had an appropriate and healthy amount of guilt. Just enough to motivate.

Today I got well over 18k steps, which I am very happy with.

Also just finished a quick evening routine of a lower body pilates workout. Low impact but I definitely felt the burn in those glutes, quads and hamstrings. 25 minutes total including the warm up and cool down.

Half hour at the gym. I almost skipped it thanks to a busy schedule, but didn't. Yay.
