This morning I did the main part of Day 4 of the FBSweat Program. It was an upper body workout with weights where no move was repeated, so I never got bored. It was a good workout although I didn't sweat much. 34 minutes total.

I will be doing the extra credit workout which is 17 minutes long this evening after work. It's a workout that is supposed to help with posture. I'll post later tonight on what my step count from work was and also how the extra credit workout went.

Today I got well over 17k steps. It was a busy day at work.

I just completed the 17 minute long stretching routine for posture and it was actually quite good! I should probably do it more often because I have mild scoliosis. Looks like tomorrow's workouts will focus on HIIT and the lower body.
Thanks for this!

This morning I did Day 5 of the FBSweat Program. The first workout was a 36 minute HIIT/lower body workout with weights. It was very challenging and I was sweating a lot towards the end. I also did the extra credit workout, which was a 15 minute pilates routine and a good way to burn out the lower body. 51 minutes total.

Looks like tomorrow's workout is just a stretching routine but I think I'll do that tomorrow evening and wake up early before work to do some light cardio.

I might stretch before bed tonight, if I do it'll be the 27 minute routine I really enjoy.

This morning before work I did a light 26 minute long cardio routine. I'm finding that exercise in the mornings before work helps to perk me up and feel more awake for the day.

Got over 13.5k steps today as well.

Going to do Day 6 of the FBSweat program after this post, which is a very light 27 minute stretching routine. Figured it would be nice to do before bed. Tomorrow is a rest day but I might end up doing something light, like a Leslie Sansone walking workout.

I'm joining this thread with you. I just restarted my gym membership, and will track what I do daily. I need to lose 15 pounds to be back at a healthy weight, and I need to combat the growing habit of laying around too much.

Thanks for helping me to get moving.

Scaredandconfused, that's a good insight about morning workouts. I feel the same way.

Go go Bjornen!!

I just completed a longer but lighter workout. I began with a 3 mile walking video from Leslie Sansone (around 42 minutes) and finished with the 27 minute stretching routine that I did yesterday. It was a relaxing series of static stretches and I enjoyed it quite a bit. 69 minutes total of activity, plus some light chores around the house. Even on my days off it feels good to do some movement.

Just finished my first formal workout in 8 months. I'm starting slow, at 30 minutes a day (various machine activities), plus light activity (dog walking, etc). I always feel like I should do more in the beginning, but I've had a history of pushing myself too hard before building up the stamina, and having exercise-induced panic attacks! And even a light biking or elliptical sessions is a hundred times better than laying in bed during my free time.

Thank you for the cheers, starrysky. That little bit of encouragement will go a long way.

Just completed the main workout of Day 8 of the FBSweat Program - it was a 35 minute long total body workout with weights. Oddly enough I was barely sweating, possibly because it's cooler in the mornings and I had a fan pointed directly at me. Either way it didn't feel like quite enough work, so I'll probably do the extra credit workout this evening, which is a 16 minute HIIT workout.

I'll post my step count later as well as whether or not I did the extra credit HIIT and if so, how it went.

Day 2 of my workout "reboot". Another half hour on the elliptical, with slightly increased intensity. Feeling alright about it, so far. I forgot my gym card today, and the girl behind the desk joked that she would have to revoke my membership for that. It made me laugh.

Got over 17k steps today, busy day at work.

Also just completed that extra credit 16 minute HIIT workout. It was challenging but not too overwhelming, I enjoyed it. Including the warm up and cool down I added, it was 26 minutes total.

Tomorrow will be a cardio/core workout which I'll do before work, but I likely won't do the extra credit workout because I'll be tired after my shift. Plus Sunday is moving day, need to save some energy for that.

Just finished the main workout of Day 9 of the FBSweat Program. Today was a cardio and core workout that was very good, 35 minutes total including the warm up. It wasn't as challenging as it could have been though because during the cardio exercises, I did low impact options so as not to wake my neighbours early in the morning with my jumping. Otherwise it was a great core workout.

I'll post my step count later and may do a stretching routine tonight depending on how I feel. I definitely won't be doing the extra credit workout.

Got around 12k steps today, it was a slightly shorter shift. Tomorrow is moving day so that will be a workout in itself, but I'll try to get up early enough to do a workout.

Happy moving! Hopefully when it's all said and done, the weekend and Monday won't be as stressful as you anticipated.

I went on a 3 1/2 mile bike ride this afternoon, and worked up my first real sweat since starting this regiment. I walked the dog as well, but we meandered too much to count as exercise, I think. Then I cleaned for an hour, with a fair amount of hauling heavy things up the stairs. It wore me down, but in a good way.

Today's workout was the moving in itself, I definitely broke a sweat. We are all settled in now though. I'll resume working out normally tomorrow - for now I am exhausted.

*slap on the wrist* I wasn't able to exercise today! But that's partly because weekends lack the structure that weekdays have. I have specific parts of my day during the week reserved for exercising, so tomorrow will be better, I promise.

Today on the program schedule is a cardio workout that I may do this evening if I feel up to it, but this morning I decided to do a Pilates/HIIT workout that I enjoy. Including the warm up it was 40 minutes total.

I'll post later tonight what my step count from work was and whether or not I decide to do an evening routine.

Today I got around 13k steps at work.

I also just completed the 37 minute long cardio routine for Day 11 of FBSweat, I decided to not do the extra credit workout. I've exercised quite a bit today, feels great though honestly.

Picked my routine back up today. Half hour, with increased intensity. I might have pushed myself a little hard, so I'll watch it tomorrow, but mostly I'm just glad I didn't give up after missing yesterday.

Another half hour. Treadmill today. A little bit less intense than yesterday, but still a good sweat. Glad that this thread adds a little extra accountability for me. I think it helps.

Today's workout was a 37 minute long HIIT/Total Body routine with weights, plus extra cardio at the end. It was pretty insane and I got a good sweat going. So that was Day 12 of the FBSweat program. I elected not to do the extra credit workout but will stretch before bed.

Just finished my morning workout, a 26 minute cardio workout that is great for beginners but also great for a recovery workout. I'll post the link in case anyone is interested, it requires no equipment and the movements are very straight-forward:

Low Impact Beginner Routine:

Day 13 of the FBSweat Program is a relaxing stretching workout that I will do before bed tonight. I'll post later how my step count today was and also how the stretching routine went.

Today I got around 13.5k steps at work.

About to do the Day 13 stretching routine, I assume it will be easy and relaxing since it's only rated 1/5 on their difficulty scale.

Tomorrow is a rest day but I'll be getting in some exercise through cleaning - I have to clean my old apartment and it'll take some time and effort.

Tough day yesterday, made worse by the guilt off not exercising. But I'm back at the gym now and just finished a good half hour.
