Hello everyone,
I did some walking today about an hour. Plus I walked my dog throughout the day. My calories today were 1,408. I slept in so I basically didn’t have breakfast. I found a food journal at Michael’s Craft Store.

Hi everyone,

Cocosurviving - that's great that you found a WW book on Amazon, hope it has some good recipes.

Delusisonsdaily, that's great that you started a health routine and been able to stick with it.

I'm doing well on the eating front - wound up not baking any Christmas cookies, so that helped. I'm down to 195 now, so that's making me happy. I'd like to be down to 190 by the 23'rd when I go in for my physical.

Today I got out and ran errands. I walked for 45 minutes. It was very cold today so I was not very active. I just wanted to curl up with a blanket.

Cocosurviving,

I can totally relate to not wanting to do anything due to the cold. It's -23C here today, so needless to say, I won't be walking.

Broke my diet, when I ordered pizza and an apple crumble pie to go with it, so as soon as the pie is finished, it'll be time to get back on my diet.

Hello everyone! I gained my weight back over the holidays. But now I'm working harder at eating healthier. I just grocery shopped for all kinds of fruits and vegetables. I'm cooking today. So I feel pretty hopeful.

Best wishes to all!

It’s ok we have all been there. I decided to join Weight Watchers in Feb. During January I’m going to buy a food scale. I just purchased a WW cookbook on eBay. It was cheap and in excellent condition. I can not find my body weight scale so I may have to purchase another one. I’m going to make a grocery list and go shopping soon. I did get bananas and ingredients for making salads.

Sigh - well I put 5 lbs back on, so look like we're all kickstarting things again. I just did a major grocery shop and bought a load of fruit. And I'm going to go back to making healthy stirfries.

I bought a scale and weighed myself Sunday. Prior to I went to my primary care on Dec 15 and was weighed. I was nude when I weighed myself and it was first thing in the morning. There was a 3 lbs less difference. This is good because that means I did not gain any weight over the holidays. I have just started eating healthier. I’ve been trying to drink more water. I bought two gallons today. I did a little walking today.

Hello everyone,

I’ve been walking the last few days. I’m trying to get more steps in. I weighed myself Saturday morning and I gained 1lbs. I ate a slice of pound cake and I think that’s what did it. I also get the snack-attack at night. I’m going to start eating fruit at night. Last night I ate popcorn and an orange.

I’m having tilapia and a sweet potato for dinner. So far I’ve walked 1,387 steps. I have not been very active today.

I pulled a muscle in my lower back. That's what I get for ditching my physio for a pitty party. So not doing much moving. I will start doing gentle stretches later today. I guess I found square one. No where to go but up.

Today I went to the gym. This is a real big deal because my Lithium keeps me really tired. I just started taking vitamin b complex for energy. I lasted 22 minutes on the treadmill. My steps for today were 6,057. MFP calories were 1,025. I drank around 40 oz of water today.

htoun - sorry about your back, that sucks. But you're right you can only go up from here.
\
Cocosurviving - way to go on getting to the gym. I'm not sure I could last 20 min. on a treadmill.

I''m doing pretty well on the food front, but still haven't started any kind of exercise, which I badly need to do.

Hello there,

I think it’s great you’ve been getting out walking. I’ll have to see when My 600 lb Life comes on and check it out.

Have a good weekend,

Unaluna - good for you for getting out walking. That's something I need to do too. I'm just not very motivated when it's below 0.

cocsurviving - you sound like you're doing really well, keep it up.

I'm still doing well on the eating front, although I've been kind of low on vegetables the past couple of days. My weight is holding steady so at least I'm not gaining, so that's progress of a sort.

I used to watch "my 600 lb life" when it was on in the evenings. Now I'm not sure when or what channels it's on. It sure as heck provided me with motivation to really watch the amount of sugar in my diet.
