apfei - I am a big believer in logging everything, every day. I use myfitnesspal.com. They have an app for the phone and the web site. If you want to go 100 calories at a time, you have to log as accurately as possible.

I think I need to see a dietitian. No matter what I do, I can't lose anymore weight. I was doing great up until Christmas and then I just stopped losing. I've tried a few different things and nothings working. I'm terrified of gaining those 40 pounds back...terrified!

A coworker's wife does catering and she brought in lunch today just as a sample and a nice thing to do. I had to cave in for that. A chicken parm slider, salad and an incredibly good oreo brownie. I figure it was around 600, using similar entries. The wild card is that brownie. I found entries from 190 to 410. I picked one that was 330. If I don't snack and have a reasonably light dinner, I can make it a normal day. I have some calories in the bank from going under yesterday. But any time I go over, it is just delay of a day per 500 calories until I get to goal; I shouldn't get so freaky about it.
Those brownies have binge food written all over them. I am staying out of the kitchen until I go home. Those kinds of urges are why I am kind of hard line about not going over; if I can justify one extra, why not 2,3... So just one and try to make it fit. If I go over a little at dinner, that's okay.

dinner was 3 oz of steak
kale/brussel sprouts salad 1/2 baked sweet potato left over from texas road house, the steak came from there as well. It was delicious dinner! For dessert I had 100 calorie chocolate crisp and a bowl of pop carn. no am chewing gum because I am not satisfied. Maybe I need to drink another glass of water. have a cup of hot tea sounds good. bizi

Today. Kind of major guesswork about lunch since it was made by a coworker's wife who does catering. I had a chicken parm slider and an oreo brownie and I found entries for both of those in myfitnesspal's database. In fact, I found multiple entries. I picked ones that seemed about right. If I am off, it's not enough to make it a surplus day; pretty sure I am in a calorie deficit for the day. No late snack tonight.

I made a lighter Alfredo sauce yesterday and put it over penne pasta (no fettuccine in Aldi). It was delicious but still a little heavy on the points and calories so I can’t make it often. Tonight I made baked lemon dill salmon with roasted green beans and garlic basil quinoa. It was as good as it sounds and only 4 points. I did have breyers delights ice cream (like halo top) for dessert so I ended up over my recommended points by four - but with the freestyle program you have 42 “free” points to use during the week in case you go over. So as long as I don’t go over my total weekly points I should be good.
I’m planning on going to Cracker Barrel tomorrow with my son because I got $50 in gift cards for Christmas from my family (who obviously does not know my restaurant tastes at all lol). I know they don’t have too much healthy food. I’m studying the menu in advance to try to find something lighter. They do have a lighter fare section on their menu now. I’m also going to keep my points low for breakfast and lunch. Day three in the books.

This is a 2000 calorie day. I forgot to weigh myself today. I had french toast, a fruit yogurt smoothie, and two slices of pizza.

I have had 1700 calories today. This includes eggs with chorizo, oatmeal with all the fixens, and an spicy italian sausage sandwich. I also had a fruit yogurt smoothie to top off the day. My calorie intake is pretty low compared to where I should be.

Day four of success! I think the decrease in depakote is really helping control my binge eating. I’m not even having cravings for high fat foods as of right now. Of course, that happened to me last year for the first month of low carb and then poof! Right back on yo yo dieting. But it helps that I can have the foods I want like pasta Alfredo and mashed potatoes. I can even have French fries (my favorite!) if I get the ore ida fries and oven bake them. Not as good as fried but what are you gonna do, right?
I did well at Cracker Barrel today. I did order the double chocolate cake for my son but I literally ate one spoonful and called it. Which is unfortunate because the little bugger didn’t eat it either ![]() ![]() I’m hoping to maintain when I go back to work and my stress levels go through the roof again. Only time will tell!

11.5 pounds gone. 174.1 this morning. I am back down to Septembers weight now. whew that was a lot of crazy drinking time and abilify time. So glad that this mix of meds is working! I am eating healthy and smaller portions when I can. Thru away some holiday candy. Drinking alot of tea and coffee. I think the caffeine is helping too. I am so glad I am back to my routine. I have 8;30 appointments all week and have 6 clients today. so it will be a late day for me. Hugs to all that need them! bizi looking back over my weight scale/report. I gained 11.5 report in 2 months and then lost 11.5 pounds in 2 months. WOW!

Last couple of days near goal. Weight this morning concerns me a little, though I have made a med change and I guess I may be shedding water weight (stopped saphris and poking around the net it seems water retention is a common side effect). Now I am down to 175, which is about 2 pounds (I don't remember what the tenths were this morning) lower than 2 days ago and 4 pounds lower than 4 days ago. If this continues, I will get in to see my doctor. As strange as it sounds, I hope it levels off and maybe bounces back up a pound or two and I start losing slowly again. I also have been walking a *lot* more in the past week or so than I had been previously and I am not truly sedentary now, but that is what my calories are based on. It is probably just retaining less water and isn't "real" body mass loss, but still good news.

I'm down to 133.2 pounds, lower than my usual 137-ish. I've been dealing with a stomach flu for quite a few days now and I have barely moved, and not eaten much. Definitely not a healthy way to lose weight. Can't wait until I can eat more than bananas, applesauce and arrowroot cookies.

I'm losing again...Yay! But I'm taking Zyprexa now so the Weight loss might slow down or even stop... Sigh.

I have not counted calories for three days. I'm just eating when I'm hungry and I'm not over eating. And I'm making healthy choices... And the scale is finally going down again! I quit the slim fast because the shakes just have way too much sugar in them.

Watch out for those sugar alcohols....they can give you severe gas and explosive diarrhea. I know from experience!!!!

I have had 2600 calories today. I made a dessert and had a couple slices. I had two and a half pancakes which is unusually large amount for me. I had a fruit yogurt smoothie using part Greek Gods yogurt for lunch, and two hotdogs from the local Circle K convenience store.
Since I no longer have a car, I will need to watch the amount of groceries that I purchase at any time. I hack to keep it simple. I will be taking Uber for this. |

Yesterday. Came in a little low despite 3 good meals and ice cream with nuts. I have gotten a little too acclimated to not eating very much. I probably should have had some more pecans. Going out of town for the weekend and won't be able to track as accurately.

Well, the whole not counting calories thing kinda blew up in my face. Not tracking calories makes it easy to over eat. So I'm gonna start again, but increase my caloric intake to 1200-1300 calories a day.

I tend to err too much on the side of caution and eat so little it is unhealthy when I am not tracking. I was a few weeks into my diet before I started tracking and at first I did not change what/how I was eating, just started tracking to see the numbers. I was under 1000 pretty much every day, which is not enough. Now I am **** about it. I weigh every thing I can to the gram or tenth of an ounce. Last night I had 100 grams of vanilla ice cream with 14 grams of pecans. That was 306 calories; no guesswork. It was also quite tasty.

Ive seen a slight uptick in my weight since starting the meds. I eat very healthy so it will be interesting to keep tabs on it and see where it goes.

Going away for the weekend and won't weigh until Monday. Between last Sunday and Thursday I lost 4 pounds, which I think was water weight, after stopping saphris. My diet would account for under 1 pound lost over 4 days. So I am really interested in seeing what it is on Monday.

Still logging in at 30 carbs and 1600 - 2000 calories a day. No changes in weight. That last bit of weight is not goingbto come off if I don't bring those numbers down. I ate a lot over the holidays and my appetite has increased
