My gall bladder is gone and I already feel massively better, just tired from the surgery. I tend to be sleepy for several weeks after anesthesia.

I'm gradually transitioning from what I had been eating (things that didn't make me sick) to a normal diet and from there when I'm eating enough calories and varieties and just healthier I'll finally be back in the weight gain process again.

Starting tomorrow my goal is to start moving more. Tomorrow I'm walking up and down our (longish) driveway twice or at least that is the goal. We'll see what my abdominal muscles think of that.

I have a question considering portion size and calories. MFP lists calories for two squares of a large Hershey’s candy bar. They also gave a weight. However, the weight was “reasonably” accurate but for three squares. So which one should I choose?

PS It looks like now my watch is reporting the correct bpm of my heart rate. What is with this thing? First it did not reset itself by the next morning, and now it does. The same with the heart monitor which is now working. Before, I could take it off and see the number of bpm still there, even changing from time to time. Well, enough about my watch.

168.0 this morning, so a little over a pound of the two pound jump is gone. I dropped my goal back another 50 to 1600 and I am going to mix in a few short days (sort of like 5:2 IF) to get the number moving a little. I think I should have gone a little further before I starting upping calories. It's largely a mental thing, but I want to be working to keep it at/under 164 instead of where I am now. It bugs me more to lose very slowly from this point than I thought it would.

My weight today is 184. I am thinking of finishing off the pizza. Then I will have a smoothie. I am thinking of tuna fish sandwiches for lunch. I may go to TJs to pick up something for dinner. Last night, I did some walking just pass midnight which was 1300 steps. So I should be able to get a higher count than yesterday.

walked about .33 mile. Then took a nap. Can't wait to get past that part of anesthesia. It just always takes me a while. But it's something, more than the last 3.5 months.

My calories for today is about 2200. The steps that I walked is 9,758. I do not know how accurate is that figure. I think it normally is accurate, but sometimes I wonder about the accuracy of my activity monitor, both in heart rate and steps walked. I will assume it is accurate for now. I finished off the last of the pizza. I had Kung Pao that I purchased from TJs. I also had a very tastey hot chocolate drink that I purchased at a gas station/store. I think it will be interesting what happens to my weight if I keep this exersize going.

PS I find it interesting that on food packages the serving size is very small and unrealistic. The TJs meal that I ate is equivalent to at least 2.5 times the serving size. I find on many foods, the realistic serving size is mostly 2 but sometime 3 times the serving size listed on the package.

Healthy diet went out the window for about a month. Getting back on track, including decreasing my alcohol intake by quite a lot. Exercise has been a problem. Between my mood swings and Fibromyalgia I can’t seem to keep it consistent. One week I will swim four days and the next week can hardly move, let alone walk 5 minutes to the beach. I just want to be fit and healthy. My weight is within BMI range but I don’t feel healthy. I used to work out four or more times a week, high intensity, but now I’m 41 things have changed. I guess I’m going to have to get used to not having a perfectly toned body and just do my best.

Kind of the opposite of restaurants, where a "meal" is usually at least two servings. One of the healthiest fast food places to eat is Taco Bell, but not if you order one of their numbered meals. A fresco chicken soft taco is only 150 calories; steak (which I don't eat) is oddly lower at 140. But many of their numbered combos are up around 1000 total.

Thank you, I stay away from fast food...taco bell a few years back was admitting that they had added fillets to their meat. Yuck. Maybe it is different now????

4510 steps. 1622 calories or thereabouts. I kind of fudged some stuff for what I picked up at the salad bar; I got some strawberries, watermelon, blueberries and pineapple and called it mixed fruit and picked one that looked about right. I put small servings of 2 desserts in there also, both of which had a soft creamy cheesecake like (but whipped somewhat) component, so I called it cheesecake. But I am almost certain it was less than 125 grams and probably not really as calorie dense as cheesecake. But I don't know for sure.

MFP calories 1086. Apple Watch steps 3,472. Water intake 33.8. My mom called and she found me some vitamin c packs. The store was out when I checked last week. I hope everyone is doing well and able to get out.

165.2 - a new low reading by 2 pounds, so the scale is still swinging pretty wildly. But I am very happy it swung this way. I stepped off and let it go dark and then weighed again and got the same weight. I was so surprised that I thought maybe it didn't register quite right the first time, but I think it did!

Down to 259.2 I haven't weighed this much since 2015 I think. It's exciting. Today I'm going to work on eating more. I made hard boiled eggs yesterday and I have fruit and veggies in the fridge so it's not like I don't have food to eat. I still have half a rotisserie chicken in the fridge too. I think I'm going to get all the chicken off it tonight and freeze it. Tomorrow I want to make some curry, just for a change and maybe some rice, since the curry recipe has potatoes in it. Maybe that would be too many carbs though. I feel the need to make some gluten free naan too. I wonder how that would go with almond yogurt. I think I just need 1/3 cup of it. I really want to get some cabbage and make some cabbage pancakes too to have with some spicy mayo. I might be hungry. lol.

164 or below; probably lose to 160. I don't want to allow my weight to go over 164, not even with a spike. I decided to make my goal the top of the range so that I don't get tempted to play that game of widening the range and immediately going to the top. If I want to widen the range, I have to lose more. I picked 164 because I am 5'8" and at 164 my BMI will be 24.9 - the very top of "healthy" (25.0 is "overweight").

I am a bit tardy posting my stats for yesterday. I now weigh 184. I think this is wiggling back and forth. I had 2300 calories yesterday, and walked about 1,800 steps. Before the sun goes down, I want to put on another 1,000 more steps in than this today. We shall see if I can do this. Right now I am at only 900.
