I'm having really good results with "poop pudding". 1 cup prune juice, 1 cup applesauce, 1 cup wheat bran (not the cereal although I've read you can use that too). Stir thoroughly. Take 1-2 tablespoons daily. The texture is a little weird (using the cereal would help) but not terrible. You HAVE to drink 8 oz of water immediately after. If it doesn't work I eat a bowl of bran cereal with 10 prunes in it. Tastes like raisin bran and seems to fix things when they are bad. I was supposed to go on a new prescription and it was delayed so I tried this. I've not had to do the prescription and it's been over a month now.

A "normal" bm frequency is anywhere from max of 2-3 times a day to min of 2-3 times a week. Yeah you can die from constipation, but i think only if untreated for a looong time, or if you develop an intestinal blockage. Either of which they can deal with surgically anyway.

I got some giant boxes of oatmeal, raisins, chopped walnuts, and a 24-pack of diced peaches, and make a dry one cup of oatmeal (microwaved with water), topped with 2 tablespoons each of the raisins and walnuts, and tons of himalayan salt and a peach cup and i think i finally found the breakfast that satisfies me (at both ends!). I eat more lightly the rest of the day.

Theres some real funny stories out there of people accidently eating the whole box thinking it was regular chocolate.

If you are that constipated you probably need to do something more drastic then start poop pudding. When I've gone a week without pooping and nothing else has worked (try bisacodyl if you haven't) I resort to a bottle of magnesium citrate. It will give you serious diarrhea but it will get things moving again. There's something else out there called nurse's remedy or something like that that is supposed to work really well. I've never tried it because it includes coffee and I'm caffeine free. After you are cleared out then try poop pudding to prevent it happening again.

60 mins Yin yoga
17 mins recumbent bike. The machine told me that since I started exercising on it, I had covered 50 miles.

I just tried using the bathroom and I felt something pop in my lower stomach followed by pain. Is that bad?

I've had snacks today. Not much food. I just opened a can of Wendys chili I'll eat later.

45 mins stretching
25 mins recumbent elliptical doing intervals with a program that alternates "fights" that are hard and recovery. I liked them.
20 mins on the treadmill. Did not do high speed but did go up to 8.5% incline. Still, today this felt like a leisurely walk.
2 mins on a cardio machine that simulates the upper body part of cross country skiing. What fun! I will do more.

I got a bunch of beans and some lentils and other stuff from Walmart. Idk. I still don't like to eat a whole bunch of meat but this whole eating Goldfish crackers for dinner isn't helping much either. Or good.

The 6 Elax chocolates worked. All day yesterday. So I'm good now.

went to Orangetheory fitness today

At first, I could not push myself and I thought it was because I had not gotten restful sleep despite long hours in bed. But then as the class progressed, I was able to push myself and even spent 2 minutes in the Red zone (all out effort). I did fewer Splat points than last time but I met the minimum requirement of 12 splat points

345
CALORIES BURNED

14
SPLAT POINTS

122
AVG. HEART-RATE

Peak HR: 153

I am going to start a Notion database tracking these numbers. Orangetheory fitness sends an email report after each workout. I would be curious how I do in three months, six months, a year.

My doctor wants to switch me to Wellbutrin. But he wants me to get off Prestiq and Lamictal first. Idk but I swear I gained my 40 pounds from Prestiq. I know Prestiq is a huge ***** to get off of too and the withdrawels are nightmareish. But I'm determined. Even if I'm puking my guts out with brain zaps and mood swings for a month.

Today I ate actually food and not any crackers or chips.

Meds can really mess with our metabolism and blood sugars and all sorts of things. Good luck with tapering off and hope you can find a better solution for you.

I’m posting here that I want to go for a run/walk tomorrow, it’s going to be tough as first in a long while but I think I need to push myself a little.

Do you alternate periods of walking and running? @Discombobulated

I think I’m going to need to because so long (5 weeks) since I went for a run. Kind of like couch to 5k if you’ve ever done that? But I’m going to see how my legs and lungs feel.

I have done couch to 5k because I do not run, but participate in 5k walks regularly, alone or with a good friend.

Well I did it and it wasn’t as difficult as I feared, it took me so long to get ready you’d think I was going on an arctic expedition lol. Anyhow I ran (jogged) most of the way but a walking break in the middle. Legs felt tired though.

Swimming tomorrow- that’s good. I’m on a roll just need to keep the momentum up.

Keep it up!

I do not know why I mistyped. I have NOT done couch to 5k because I do not run. I have a very short urethra, shorter than in most women, and that exacerbates urinary stress incontinence. For this reason I cannot do jumping jacks and avoid running. But I power walk on a treadmill doing intervals.
