I hope so too hun, I get like that too sometimes but it's important to remember that it will pass. Do you think you'll be able to get out now that the weather has improved?
Thanks for this!

I like a bit of boxing myself. When the Olympics are on I'd always watch the Irish lads and ladies fight. Conor McGregor has gotten this whole Country into UFC. I really hope he wins it

My father has been having his psychotic delusion since 2001. After my DX I knew that he needed help and got him thrown into a hospital hoping he would be shaken out of it.

His last words to me were, "Thanks for ****ing up my already ****ed up life, Stephen."

It's not his fault though. It's the disorder talking so I don't take it personally. People aren't their disorders. It just kills me that he isn't living a life of his own.

Wait, does that mean I have to marry a gay man?

I have been getting extremely irritable and then getting depressed and melting. I don't want to DX you but maybe you should see your PDoc. This is concerning.

Haha according to the No side this is what they'd have you believe or that people are going to go around buying babies to raise in gay families while replacing the love of a mother by playing whitney housten greatest hits loud throughout the house. Ah the no side... you can go away now!

Lamictal gives me a case of the stupids. Funny story. My boss asked me why I had to leave work early 5 days ago. I thought about it... an thought about it... and thought about it... And told him I forgot! Then 30 minutes later I was like,"COMCAST!!!" The cable provider had to set up the internet and I had to be there. So now whenever anybody forgets anything im the but of the joke.

Have you spoke to your dr? What med is it" Is it your AP? I'd characterize this as something detrimental to maybe not your physical health but your mental health. Your concentration is a part of everyday like. I hope your dr has a solution for you...
Thanks for this!

On the temple of Delphi there is an inscription that translate to, "Nothing to Excess".

There is an ancient story about this of a man named Daedalus and his son Icarus. Stuck in the labyrinth, the genius who created it, Da3dlus, created two sets of wings made of wax. The father, Daedalus, told his son not to fly too close to the son or else your wings will melt and you'll fall and die in the sea. Also, not to fly too low either or you'll crash into he waves.

They take off but as Icarus looks at the sun he has the urge to fly upward towards the beautiful light high atop the clouds. As he does this his wings start to deform and melt the wax. There fall Icarus into the ocean, lost forever.

It's about control, about self control over passions, addictions and habits. It's about finding the middle course away from excesses to live a life of reason, but never forgetting your sweet passions in life.

I'm so pleased that it passed! I saw this on Facebook and it made me laugh:

Hope I'm not relapsing but idk anymore.
I randomly keep smelling weed a lot, which is weird. Most of the time my family can't smell it, so I'm starting to wonder if it's in my head? It's such a horrible smell and makes me feel sick whenever I smell it. Wish it would go away!

Thanks for letting me know cos I hadn't heard. Very sad. I don't understand why they weren't wearing seatbelt though?!

I really enjoyed the film A Beautiful Mind, but apparently it was very inaccurate. I knew he stopped his meds, but I didn't know that he never hallucinated and that his delusions were about aliens and not the Govt/spies etc. Also never knew his son had sz too. Anyone know of any good (accurate) documentaries about him I could watch online?

Also guys, how do I do the trigger box thing? For future reference.

I experience the same thing and I'm not on meds now, so I wouldn't necessarily blame the haloperidol, or stop it. I've been off APs for 18 months, so if it is med-related, it's probably not going anywhere.

I also keep thinking really stupid things too. Like earlier I saw the ends of my sister's shoes by the table in the restaurant, and I thought 'how are her feet reaching all the way there?!' when she was in another room and I couldn't see her legs stretching 30ft across the room. When I moved my head, I could see that her shoes were empty and she'd left them to go and play on the bouncy castle. And it was only then that I realised that what I had been thinking was incredibly stupid. Idk wtf is wrong with me tbh! :/

I was really angry with my mum for having me sectioned the 1st time, and it took me months to forgive her. But I did. I hope that your father realises one day that you were doing the best you could in a very crappy situation because you love him

Aargh! I have no idea why that picture is so small, or how to make it bigger, but it's from the i newspaper and a photo of a rainbow over Dublin after the vote and it says "There's a big gay rainbow over Dublin. If that's not Jesus giving the Yes vote, I don't know what is!"
