Yesterday I got well over 10k steps at work. In the evening I began feeling sick and have been feeling weak all day today, so today has been a rest day. Hopefully I feel better before work tomorrow.

Got over 12.5k steps today, mostly from work. Didn't do another workout aside from that.

Just finished Level 1 of Jillian Michael's Beginner Shred. I wanted to choose something a bit easier to ease back into regular exercise. It was only 24 minutes total, but it felt like I got a solid total body workout in. It's also very easy to modify the moves to make them tougher, which I did for a few things that were too simple.

Just finished Day 2 of Level 1 of Jillian Michael's Beginner Shred. There are 3 levels and you are supposed to do each for 10 days, totaling to a 1 month long program. I was a bit sore doing this today but not so bad that I couldn't do the workout. Broke a decent sweat, 24 minutes total.

Got well over 10k steps yesterday from work, although I had to leave a couple hours early due to a stomach bug/fever. It was a rest day from any official working out, for sure! Crossing my fingers that nothing acts up today so I can do a workout.

Got over 10k steps yesterday at work.

Today I just finished Jillian Michael's Ripped in 30, Level 1, Day 1. It is much more challenging than Beginner Shred. I had to pause a handful of times to catch my breath, and I was red and sweaty at the end, but I made it. 35 minutes total including the warm up and cool down.

Just finished Ripped in 30, Level 1, Day 2. Red as a tomato, and had to pause several times, but I did it! 35 minutes total.

Super sore today, so today is an active rest day. Just finished a brisk 1 mile walk with Leslie Sansone, and a FitnessBlender stretching routine. 41 minutes total, and my muscles are definitely thanking me!

Decided to take a small break from Jillian, her workouts are effective but I'm not a fan of her teaching personality, or the music in the background.

Just finished a FitnessBlender Upper Body & Cardio workout. Broke a good sweat and feeling awesome! 33 minutes total.

Just finished a 63 minute long FitnessBlender Pilates routine. Feeling quite low mood-wise today, so I needed something that was low impact but required total concentration. Pilates was an awesome choice. I'll post the workout in case anyone is interested, all you need is an optional exercise mat. 3/5 on the difficulty scale.

Just finished a FitnessBlender upper body + kickboxing routine, 37 minutes total. It was my first time doing this one and I LOVE it. Got a good sweat going and felt so relaxed by the time the cooldown was finished. I'll post in case anyone is interested, you don't need a single piece of equipment and it's a 3/5 on the difficulty scale.

Yesterday was a rest day.

Just finished a FitnessBlender lower body/HIIT routine. 34 minutes total, and I broke a good sweat. I feel a lot more energized and accomplished than I did before finishing the routine. I'll post a link in case anyone is interested, the difficulty is 4/5 and it is recommended to have dumbbells for the strength training portion.

I am not overweight but would like to tone up and get rid of some extra softness around the tummy area. Exercising has always helped me mentally as well, which is huge. It's a natural anti-depressant, so why not take advantage of it?

Today's workout was for more "front of the body" muscles like chest, shoulders, arms, quads and core. I was definitely sweating after (still am, recently finished it), but I also feel better mentally.

I'll be posting the workouts I do and how they went, to keep track of my progress. Feel free to post what you do for exercise as well, I could use some workout buddies!
So good for you! (and anyone else contributing) I've been struggling with my mood for too many months now (or perhaps it goes back a few years even) to have a set routine. I did actually try this 30day challenge and I really enjoy the programs, but I can't do the same ones every day and I can't do this intensity every day. At most, I probably ever did thrice a week, but alas, my mood changed, and I left the routine. I always try to keep some kind of fitness in my life, in fact, I need it because I have physical needs to be active, but getting enough and/or at proper times has been a challenge to sync up. For now, I support you and others doing this and am hopeful that I can get something regular set up again pretty soon!

Past few days have either been rest days or light activity. My right arm is acting up so after a work shift of lifting, it tends to be sore again. I'll try to make sure not to overextend my arm today at work.

@giddykitty, I am the same way which is why I could not continue with the Jillian Michaels workouts. Plus, I am not a huge fan of her teaching style. I much prefer FitnessBlender's style with no music in the background, no macho-type yelling, and the instructors actually do the workout with you (unlike Jillian who does a couple of reps then goes to yell at her background exercisers).

I just glanced at the title of this thread & thought it read, "Melissa's EXCUSE Tracking Thread." Ouch! My arm...& my leg hurts, too! I'd better get my eyes checked.

Yesterday I got over 10k steps from work.

Today I just finished a Lower Body Strength/HIIT workout, 34 minutes total. Felt exhausted and sweaty at the end, but also more relaxed, accomplished, and energized. I'd say it's a fair trade off!
Thanks for this!

Just finished an awesome FitnessBlender Upper Body Strength/Kickboxing workout. 43 minutes total including the warm up and cool down. I feel more energized physically, yet more calm mentally. I love it! If anyone is interested, I'll post the link to the workout below. It's a 3/5 on the difficulty scale and you'll want to have dumbbells or some form of weight.

It's so awesome that you work out so often. I used to work out all the time until I turned about 28. Now I'm 43, and so out of shape. Long story. ...lol. but keep it up. You're inspiring!
