Wow! A lot to catch up on!

My mood is pretty good considering. My morning started well - slept 7.5 hr. last night, did a power walk/jog and wow, I can jog a lot farther than I thought! Showered, read with the SAD lamp. Then, while eating breakfast, I had a tooth break off. I think it broke at an old crown, but it's very sensitive (even to just the air I breathe), hard to even drink water and am having a bit of pain too that Tyelnol did not touch. I have a dentist appt. this afternoon at 3:30. Hopefully, he will suggest another crown and not a root canal but I just have to wait and see. At least the dentist could work me in today.

I painted, still getting used to painting from tubes. I departed from food and painted a flower this time though it didn't turn out that well. It's supposed to be a bluebell but I'm not sure you can tell...sigh. Some days are like that.

Mostly just card games and dice games. But it was a group of us that went to No Kings protest. It’s not organized or anything. Just a bunch of us that get together to play games. It’s not organized or anything.

So yesterday my year 9s - the new class - were actually pretty good! That was a lovely surprise. The Year 8s where there’s 26 in the class? Not so much. Whilst most of them were on task the noise level with that many kids was more than my threshold could tolerate. And I see them again today. Probably why Ive been awake on and off since 3:00am. Just couldn’t sleep properly. They’ve done a bunch of classroom changes too this semester - not all for the better.

Just 3 weeks left then I’m on holiday for 2 weeks. I got this. I think lol

Around 1 I got some energy and decided to get my *** out of bed and do something for the first time in a few days. So I stopped at Mcdonalds and got my mom and I ice cream cones then I went to Platos Closet and got 2 pairs of Nikes, a Columbia T shirt, a Patagonia T shirt, and a Lacoste T shirt.

It was a combination of pushing myself to get out for the exposure and retail therapy. My anxiety was fine the whole time.

Immediate care called and wants to call in another prescrption for a UTI med. I've been drinking a lot of cranberry juice and I feel better. Idk maybe they are for in case it comes back and so I don't bother them again.

I lucked out. Turned out it was the temporary crown that fell off; I have so many crowns at this point I can't tell which are new and which are old. So thankfully, the hygienist was able to clean the temp. crown up, scrape the cement off the tooth (that was NOT fun) and re-cement it. The tooth is a bit sensitive now after all day without the crown covering it. I may try some Tylenol again. Hopefully, it will calm down soon.

So today has been an up and down day. I am missing my guy a lot and he's on my mind plaguing my soul. I have to get a better grip on it though, so I spent some time talking to ChatGPT. I heard more people are talking to the AI for therapy. I would NEVER consider talking to a robot, but since I only have therapy once a month, I gave it a try, and it actually helped me feel better. I would recommend it if you're having a really hard time with no one to talk to. My homeless friend in New York really likes it too. He said he was telling it all about his woes about not finding an apartment and it gave him some really good suggestions.

I hope you have a good time at the movies tomorrow @Nammu - I LOVE me some Bargain Tuesdays. I am going to see How to Train Your Dragon tomorrow as well. I wasn't going to see it, but I think I want to now, lol.

I like your BlueBell @Blueberrybook - I am sorry you had trouble with your tooth though, I am glad they were able to fix it.

Hugs to anyone who needs it today, it was definitely a rough one for me.

Unfortunately I’m not able to do the movie. I got a text reminder of a bank appointment I have at the same time. So shoot! Maybe next week. Oh welllllll.

Shrimp themselves aren't high in fat but 90% of the time the way they're cooked makes them out to be

I accidentally took my meds twice last night. I am so groggy. Very stupid move. Tomorrow I'm supposed to drive to the city for therapy and car maintenance. I'm not sure that's going to happn.

I hate when I make stupid mistakes.

Maybe see a dietician. That’s what I did to help lose weight. They helped me a lot

I was seeing one but she didn't really help. She said what I was eating was fine and gave me some vauge food log.

I'm going to see if my GI knows of one.

Are they straight up like plain ole shrimp w/nothing or something with batter or a sauce with it like you'd get from the frozen food aisle?

Mine really helped. I’d encourage you to seek second opinion. Focus on eating protein to keep you full during the day. Lean proteins. It will help you crave less junk. I get how hard it is to lose weight. I’ve lost 70lbs and need to keep working at it. Protein shakes help me supplement and eating 4-5 mini meals a day not 3 big ones. My gi encourages me to eat several small meals a day bc it’s easier on the body

I bought some breaded shrimp one time and could barely find the shrimp! Aside from that they’re just plain shrimp with the tails on, precooked.
